With regard to the Third World, the Club of Rome's Harland Cleveland prepared a report which was the height of cynicism. At the time, Cleveland was United States Ambassador to NATO. Essentially, the paper said it would be up to Third World nations to decide among themselves which populations should be eliminated.

Senator Obama’s senior advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski argued that Israeli counterterrorism and efforts to drive Hezbollah from Lebanon was little different from deliberate murder of hostages.

It would be good to hear Sen. Biden clarify whether, when he spoke of driving Hezbollah out of Lebanon, he agrees with Obama’s senior mentor who seems to believe that doing so is murder.  Frankly, it would be better to hear from Obama and his senior advisors whether they agree with Brzezinski.

Brzezinski's comments in context (emphasis mine):

So I do not see Israel being able to change the mindset of the peoples involved and particularly not by use of force. Use of force can achieve certain short-term objectives, perhaps even today in Lebanon provides Israel some modest success in interdicting some Hezbollah military capability. But use of force breeds its own antithesis: the mobilization of deeper resistance, the radicalization of those around you, and a growing sense of outrage and determination to survive.

I hate to say this but I will say it. I think what the Israelis are doing today for example in Lebanon is in effect, in effect--maybe not in intent--the killing of hostages. The killing of hostages. Because when you kill 300 people, 400 people, who have nothing to do with the provocations Hezbollah staged, but you do it in effect deliberately by being indifferent to the scale of collateral damage, you're killing hostages in the hope of intimidating those that you want to intimidate. And more likely than not you will not intimidate them. You'll simply outrage them and make them into permanent enemies with the number of such enemies increasing.

Granted, Rubin's just trying to score a few cheap points here, but his post raises a larger question. Is Brzezinski right and killing innocent civilians during a military campaign ethically indistinguishable from executing hostages in cold blood? Or should we all share Rubin's indignation at the very suggestion of moral equivalence?

I don't believe Bush invaded Iraq at the behest of a cabal of oil companies or because he's a bloodthirsty maniac; in fact, I'm reasonably confident his intentions were quite noble. September 11th and its aftermath evidently had a profound effect on his worldview. Bush's sincerity was also evident when he spoke of the need to spread democracy throughout the Middle East.

Does that mean we should judge his tenure less harshly? My own view is conflicted. I don't think an Israeli fighter-pilot who accidentally kills civilians during a raid is the moral equivalent of a Hizbollah suicide bomber. His intentions are pure, and the mission was undoubtedly provoked by a perceived threat to Israeli security. Needless to say, the Israeli Air Force also takes greater precautions against civilian casualties than Hizbollah's militiamen ever will.

But if the outcome of the Israeli fighter pilot's mission is the same as Hizbollah's latest suicide bombing, I'm not sure if Brzezinski's conclusion is too far off the mark. For the people most affected by the attacks - namely, the victims - the results are nearly identical. With Iraq, Bush's moral intentions are also quite irrelevant to the real humanitarian consequences of our invasion.

After Iraq, the Right's moral certainty remains unshaken: our intentions were noble and the consequences of the war don't implicate them. But my convictions have changed, and Brzezinski's comments suggest I'm not alone. Ultimately, enhancing our own awareness of moral consequentialism is probably the best way to ensure we pay closer attention the next time we're faced with the prospect of war.

Georgian troops launched an aerial bombardment and ground attack on its separatist province of South Ossetia on Thursday. South Ossetians want to join up with their ethnic brethren in North Ossetia, an autonomous republic within the Russian Federation. Seeing this as an act of aggression Russia launched bombing raids against Georgia, vowing to defend its citizens. More than half of South Ossetia's citizens are said to have taken up Moscow's offer of a Russian passport. Pepe Escobar believes that "the hypocrisy of the international community knows no bounds for if the West forced the issue of Kosovar independence then the independence of South Ossetia should also be on the cards."

PEPE ESCOBAR, SENIOR ANALYST: If you believe the very, very loud hordes of Russian-haters in the US—politicians, lobbyists, corporate media—we are back to the Cold War, and the Russian bear is behaving like the invasion of Hungary in '56 and Czechoslovakia in '68. Well, this is absolute rubbish. To understand the real story, let's take a look at the map. Georgia is a strategic so-called democracy in the Caucasus since the 2003 US-engineered Rose Revolution. It wants to be part of NATO, it provides the US with 2,000 troops in Iraq, it wants to be part of US missile defense shield, and it hosts a stretch of the BTC pipeline, the Baku-to-Ceyhan pipeline in Turkey. Basically, it's a US client state in the middle of the Caucasus. Mikheil Saakashvili, the Georgian president, unpopular at home, implicated in monstrous corruption scandals, thought the Beijing Olympics gave him a fabulous opening to solve the problems Georgia has with separatist South Ossetia, since 1989, for that matter. So he staged a surprise invasion supported by the US. If we look at the map, we see that North Ossetia is in Russia and South Ossetia is in Georgia. Only 82,000 people. They don't want independence; they want to unite with North Ossetia. The last referendum in the region was in November 2006. Ninety-one percent of attendance. Ninety-nine percent, they voted for union with North Ossetia and Russia. And the referendum was totally ignored by Georgia, the US, and in Europe. Once Saakashvili decided to attack South Ossetia last week, he was applying Pentagon tactics. US troops had just finished teaching Georgians how to ethnically cleanse an area. That was part of the so-called, I quote, "Georgian-US Immediate Response 2008 Military Exercises." This whole thing ended less than two weeks ago, on July 31. Saakashvili's game was to smash South Ossetia. In fact, his troops killed more than 2,000 civilians, destroyed the capital, Tskhinvali, killed 10 Russian peacekeepers, at least, provoked an exodus of 35,000 people to North Ossetia. He wanted to profit from the spotlight being on the Olympics, of course, but he also had to solve two huge problems: NATO does not accept states involved in territorial disputes, and the Bush administration, key supporters of Georgia, is on the way out. The Russians saw this for what it was, a search-and-destroy mission, ethnic cleansing, and a huge provocation to boot. After all, Russian citizens were killed—99 percent of the population of South Ossetia is ethnically Russian. For the Russians, this is exactly what the West said was happening in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s, and they saw it, the Russians, as a test-run for the breakup of the Russian Caucasus. Does that all remind us of Kosovo? Yes, it does. But Ossetia is not Kosovo, as the Russians are the first to tell us. The hypocrisy of this so-called international community knows no bounds. If the US and Europe actually forced the independence of Kosovo, they should have to admit that the independence of South Ossetia and the other separatist Georgian province, Abkhazia, is also in the cards. And then there's oil and pipelines. That's where the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline fits in. The pipeline is just one factor in a much, much bigger picture. And that's the attempt sponsored by the US, and joined by many other former Soviet satellites, to cripple all traces of Russian influence, economic, politic, diplomatic, military, not only in the Caucasus, but in Central Asia as well. To believe that Russia would accept any of this is to live in Fantasy Land like US corporate media, or Brzezinski, for that matter, former national security advisor to Jimmy Carter, an informal advisor to Barack Obama. The McCain campaign is infested with Rusophobia. McCain wants to expel Russia from the G8. But Brzezinski may be even more dangerous. This is the guy who gave the Soviets their Vietnam in Afghanistan, facilitating the rebirth of radical jihadist Islam. Brzezinski's the godfather of al-Qaeda. Brzezinski now says that the Russian invasion of Georgia—and he forgets to say that it was Georgia that attacked South Ossetia first—is like Stalin's attack on Finland. Well, we should not forget that Brzezinski himself negotiated the BTC pipeline in Baku in the mid-'90s. The Russians will not bomb his pipeline as it has been reported—not a single confirmation in the Russian press or international agencies. What the Russians want is to teach Saakashvili a lesson. In essence, George Bush, enjoying his swimming competitions in Beijing, is not in a position to say anything to Vladimir Putin. What Putin is more or less saying to the US and to Europe is that South Ossetia should do what the population of South Ossetia wants: independence from Georgia, a new referendum, union with North Ossetia, which is the ethnic twin of South Ossetia on the northern side of the Caucasus Mountains. Saakashvili, well, he can scream in English on CNN as much as he wants. He's already being blamed by the Georgian opposition for his reckless adventure. He was also blamed because he ignored that US badly needs Russia to solve the Iranian nuclear dossier. And he's being blamed because he ignored that Europe is in the middle of a very complex negotiation with Russia for access to Russian gas—Europe depends on Russian gas. As for Russian hawks with a Cold War mentality, and there are plenty, Dick Cheney said that Russia's actions in Georgia, I quote, "must not go unanswered." Well, maybe he should take Putin for some quality quail hunting.

The Trilateral Commission was founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller as an off-shoot of the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR). David Rockefeller was chairman of the CFR in 1970 and subsequently became the founding chairman of the Trilateral Commission. Soon the membership of the Commission had grown to 300 members, including prominent political figures like Zbigniew Brzezinski. Most members of the Trilateral Commission are bankers, media moguls, or corporate CEOs, primarily from North America, Europe and Japan, while all members of the CFR are U.S. Citizens.

The Commission seeks to extend its influence abroad and is careful to avoid the scrutiny of congressional investigations. The CFR on the other hand, focuses on the control of American media.

When American media discuss globalism, they rarely mention that the Trilateral Commission sets most global economic goals, primary among them being the creation of a one-world system of trade. It is basically a form of fascism in which global corporations and their elite CEOs determine the policies and direction of world governments. The creation of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank after World War II was intended to encourage Third World countries to borrow money from wealthy nations, so long as they agreed to the imposition of a wide range of “structural adjustment policies.” Any nation borrowing money from either organization would not be allowed to nationalize its natural resources and would be unable to prevent foreign corporations from buying or controlling those resources.

Shortly before World War II, Hjalmer Schacht, a German banker, toured the United States soliciting American corporate support for Hitler’s new fascist state. U.S. corporations not only agreed to support Germany against the socialist economic system of the Soviet Union, but also declared their opposition to the strong labor movement arising in the United States and Europe.

General Motors was prominent among the corporations that supported the Nazi government, investing $20 million in industries owned or controlled by Herman Goering and other Nazi officials. Other US multinational corporations that profited from and supported Hitler’s industrial war machine included General Electric, Standard Oil, Texaco, International Harvester, ITT and IBM. Today, Standard Oil of New York is unabashed in honoring its chemical cartel that manufactured Zyklon-B, the poison gas used by the Nazi gas chambers. (1)

Among the eminent business leaders backing these multinational corporations were the Rockefellers and Prescott Bush, father of George Bush and grandfather of George W. Bush. Prescott Bush worked with his father-in-law, George Herbert Walker, in the family firm Union Banking Corporation to raise $50 million by selling German bonds to American investors from 1924 to 1930.

Even though the United States helped to defeat Nazi Germany in World War II, many of the powerful elite families continued to support Hitler’s fascist ideology after the war. John Rockefeller III was an uncritical believer in the doctrine of Thomas Robert Malthus, who claimed that population always increased at a geometric rate while food supply increased at the slower arithmetic rate. Malthus therefore concluded that population growth had to be rigidly controlled. Today, his theory is widely criticized for failing to take into account the vast technological advances in agriculture and food production.

Rockefeller also accepted Hitler’s concept of an Aryan race, leading him to propose population control on the poor and people of color, whom he believed were producing children of inferior intelligence. In an effort to support such views, the Rockefeller family became involved with Eugenics, a fascist doctrine that advocated breeding a superior race by eliminating the mentally ill, physically handicapped, and racially inferior.

During the 1920’s, anthropologist Franz Boaz helped to combat racial prejudice more than any of his contemporaries. Following in his steps was his young protégé, Margaret Mead, who went on to establish that nurture, not nature, was the primary determinant of human health and mental development. Their work showed that Eugenics was based on ideology, not science. The legitimate science of genetics emerged from the ashes of Eugenics, but even today, many geneticists are members of Eugenics societies.

Despite the demise of Eugenics, the theory of over-population remains a common political argument. It has been suggested by Henry Kissinger, a stout member of the Trilateral Commission, that countries that do not control their population should suffer sanctions and the human misery that accompanies them.

The US Congress has supported these early population concepts introduced by Rockefeller’s Foundation. In March 1970, Congress set up a “Commission on Population Growth and the American Future.” The commission included representatives from USAID, the State Department, and the Department of Agriculture, but CIA and Pentagon officials drew up the agenda. “Their objectives were not to assist developing countries, but as promoted by the Trilateral Commission, to curb world population with a view to serving US strategic and national security interests,” notes author Michel Chossudovsky.(2)

In 2007, more than 100 million tons of grain were used to make ethanol, which contributed to high global food prices and subsequent hunger and starvation. During this same year, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization stated that there had been a record grain harvest, suggesting that there is enough food in the world to feed everyone. Indeed, over the last twenty years, food production has risen steadily at over two percent a year, while the rate of population growth has dropped to 1.4 percent a year. Access to food should be viewed as a fundamental human right, but corporations regard it only as a commodity to be sold for profit. No amount of technological progress or increase in food production can overcome corporate greed. The corporations ignore basic human needs, seeking to control world resources by encouraging the US government to build more and more military bases around the world. Presently, the US has 1000 such bases.

Under the Clinton administration, Yugoslavia was dismembered in order to advance American interests. In particular, the former Serbian province of Kosovo was occupied by U.S. troops in order to build Camp Bondsteel, among the largest military bases ever created by the United States. It will double as Kosovo’s largest prison, where prisoners can be held indefinitely without charges and without defense attorneys.(3)

Another major reason for building Camp Bondsteel was to provide protection for an oil pipeline to be built to the Caspian Sea. The Caspian holds some 50 billion gallons of oil, tempting foreign intervention in the Balkans. In an attempt to control Caspian oil, NATO and US troops have been sent to the Georgia.

As Latin America asserts its independence from the odious Monroe Doctrine, its progressive leaders face increasing American pressure and overt threats. These new leaders no longer rely on the International Monetary Fund or the World Bank. Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic have become members of the Bolivian Alternative for Latin America. This organization emphasizes local energy development and has become the bank of the South. This bank will not operate as a profit driven institution, but as a financial organization that will consider the economic needs of each borrower country.

In an effort to break up this new political organization in Latin America, the US has provided six billion dollars to Alvaro Uribe, President of Columbia, with the understanding that a US military base would follow. The base would be placed in La Guay, a region spanning Northeast Columbia and Northwest Venezuela, a clear threat to the Chavez government in Venezuela.

As in the Caucasus and Latin America, Africa is faced with American military expansion through AFRICOM. AFRICOM is the acronym for the US military command post planned for Sub-Sahara Africa. As pointed out by the members of the National Conference of Black Lawyers (NCBL), AFRICOM will infringe on the rights of African states and will violate international law that protects the sovereignty of nations. African leaders are well aware that AFRICOM is intended to exploit Africa’s national resources.

It has become increasingly clear that the US military has been stretched thin, with insufficient forces to fight simultaneous wars and maintain the vast military bases it is establishing around the world. Responding to this problem, Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense, and Vice President Dick Cheney have turned to private military forces. Blackwater, a well-paid mercenary army, has become the world’s most powerful private military corporation. Troops for Blackwater are recruited from countries like the Philippines, Nepal, Columbia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Peru, and Chili. Some 60 former commandos have been recruited from the remnants of the army of former Chilean dictator Augusta Pinochet. They now serve as part of Blackwater’s fighting forces. Other mercenary armies available to the highest bidder include Amo Group, Eunyo, Hart Security, and the Military Professional Resources Incorporated (MPRI). (4)

In early August 1995, under former President Clinton, the MPRI mercenaries were sent to Croatia to train and assist the Croatian military in expelling ethnic Serbs from their villages in the Krajina, an area in Croatia.

American military bases are proliferating around the world like mushrooms. Among the more recent are the bases in Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Pakistan, India, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Morocco, Tunis, Algeria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.(5) New bases are presently under construction in Eurasia along the borders of Russia and in areas close to China. The earlier Clinton Doctrine proclaimed that the United States has the unilateral right to use military force to protect markets and resources. Author Michael Swank says the Clinton Doctrine is taken for granted today. He explains, “With markets and resources we have a right to make sure that we control them, which is logical on the principle that we own the world anyway so of course we have that right.” (6)

Dr. Sheldon Wolin, emeritus professor of politics at Princeton University, states that under George Bush the United States has finally achieved an official ideology of imperial expansion comparable to that of Nazi Germany.(7)

The US policy of dividing up countries like Yugoslavia has caused concern in the Middle East, Russia and China. Today, Russia is well aware that the US and NATO hope to divide Russia into three regions, as described in Zbigniew Bryzinski’s book, The Grand Chessboard: Western Russia would be integrated into Europe; Siberia would be separated from Russia; and the Asian republics would be given independence. Both Russia and China are concerned about the relentless expansion of NATO toward their borders.

The military bases spread out over the world have done very little to aid the growth of markets for the US. Taxpayer money funds not only America’s military bases, but the corporations that run them. The current economic depression and the steadily growing public debt, now exceeding nine trillion dollars, has harmed the US social infrastructure in areas like public education and health care. It has also caused the US to lose its competitiveness in manufacturing products to meet civilian needs. Simultaneously, the US has lost international markets to China, India, Russia, and some EU countries.

On June 15, 2001, China, Russia and four of their central Asian neighbors, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, established the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a new regional group pursuing security and cooperation. The SCO is gaining influence internationally as more and more nations seek to join the group. Mongolia, Pakistan, Iran and India hold observer status, and nations as diverse as Bangladesh, Belarus, Nepal and the Philippines have expressed interest in affiliating with the SCO. (8)

Yevgeny Primakov, head of Russian trade and industry, has declared that the global economy no longer has a single undisputed leader. Russia and China, under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, have worked to create a multi-polar world.

In May, 2008, Russia hosted the first meeting of BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China), bringing together four nations that are home to forty percent of humanity and representing the fastest growing emerging economies in the world. BRIC is being built on the foundation of a successful trilateral collaboration known as RIC (Russia, India and China).

Anthony Ling, managing director of Goldman Sachs International, noting the rising power of the four BRIC countries, characterizes them as “the new economic tigers.” The US is now lagging behind them in terms of the percentage of energy companys world wide. (9)

The new economic power exercised by BRIC and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has created a new balance in world politics. The SCO has fostered economic and investment cooperation, including joint projects in the fuel and energy sectors, agriculture, and other spheres. The nations within the SCO have established relations with international bodies, including the United Nations, the European Union, the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN), and the Islamic Conference.

In October, 2007, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), consisting of the presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhatan, Ky7rgistan, Russia, and Tajikistan signed an agreement with the SCO to broaden cooperation on issues of security, crime, and drug trafficking. The major purpose of this agreement was to reaffirm that all participating states will be protected from the foreign threats. “Signatories would not be able to join other military alliances or other groups of states, while aggression against one signatory would be perceived as an aggression against all.”(10) The CSTO, an observer organization of the United Nations, offered aid and assistance in the reconstruction of Afghanistan, but NATO refused, indicating that they would rely instead on an expanded military presence. (11)

Russia and China feel that their union with SCO, CSTO and BRIC proves that a uni-polar world is out of date, and that a multi-polar world, based on cooperation and mutual support rather than competition and intimidation, will become the world’s standard.

SUBSTITUTE AGENDA FOR WARFARE In this age, it is very costly to blow things up or to explode nuclear weapons. Rather than killing people with nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, they determined that if you expose targeted populations with combinations of chemical and biological toxins, and infectious agents, a chronic illness would virtually enslave populations to become dependent on the pharmaceutical industrialists who are the same as the military industrialists. That is why Kissinger, in 1969, was looking for alternatives to nuclear weapons in the biological weapons, particularly the immune system ravaging viruses. They decided to create enslavement of the masses in a way that the masses themselves would not know they were enslaved. In the Report from Iron Mountain, they stated, "We need to have an ongoing space program that is virtually useless except that it is a constant money drain. It is a substitute for war economy. They also called for ongoing worsening pollution in order to bring together countries all over the world to fight a common problem. And the last common enemy would be alien phenomena or terrorist attack. So, ultimately, this is an agenda to make you believe you have to be concerned about global phenomena. All of this is a fabrication. THE ILLUMINATI The Illuminati is the oligarchy composed of approximately 13 of the world's wealthiest families who virtually run everything. The Foreign Affairs Journal, the most esteemed political periodical in the world, is published by the Council of Foreign Relations. You can get it in some Canadian newsstands. It represents approximately 3,600 of the world's wealthiest military medical industrialists and international bankers. Now, these people who pull the political strings on our puppet politicians decided in the March/April issue, 1995, a reduction of half of the United States' population was needed. DEPOPULATION Henry Kissinger's National Security Memorandum 200, published in 1974, called for massive Third World depopulation. Coincidentally, the HIV-like viruses, the AIDS-like viruses transmitted in the Merck, Sharp and Dohme Hepatitis B vaccines were given to gay men in New York City and Blacks in Central Africa. According to all the scientific evidence, this delivered AIDS to the world. There are three insiders who have also commented on it. Dr. Maurice Hilleman himself who was in charge of that vaccine development program, said, "We brought the AIDS virus into North America in contaminated monkeys destined for vaccine research and development at Merck. We didn't really know it at the time, however." Merck and Kissinger have an intimate connection. Kissinger associates are among the board of advisors at Merck. Merck's name goes way, way back. Merck Company owned the first pharmaceutical companies (apothecaries) in Germany; it provided medications to Royalty. Interestingly enough, George W. Merck himself was America's biological weapons industry director personally appointed by President Roosevelt and Secretary of War Stimson during World War II. On August 10th, 1944, before World War II ended, the entire Nazi war chest was invested heavily into 750 corporations to extend the I.G. Farben/Rockefeller monopoly over the chemical and pharmaceutical trade. So it's a chemical, pharmaceutical, and petroleum cartel. Guess who received the lion's share of the Nazi war chest? It was none other than George W. Merck's company at the time he was American biological weapons industry director. Nelson Rockefeller's protege was Henry Kissinger. Kissinger was a Rockefeller family puppet. Brzezinski was David Rockefeller's protege and his infamous document National Security Memorandum 46 was sent to me by Boyd Ed. Graves who is a gay, black, HIV positive, attorney who has launched a class action lawsuit against the federal government of the United States for genocide. When you read it you are stunned, because it virtually calls for genocide against black people in Africa and America, and it cannot be misinterpreted because what it is calling for is very clear. Assassination and destruction of all black leaders and a creation of a higher class within the black community so that the entire masses can be manipulated. The black people, particularly those on the African continent were considered to be major threats to U.S. national security and the economic alignment of the super powers. THE MURALS IN DENVER AIRPORT The first panel of the murals shows a Nazi alien wearing a gas mask performing non-lethal military warfare or chemical spraying, stabbing the dove of peace with his saber. Pesticides and neurotoxins were evolved heavily during the Holocaust. So here is a Nazi alien against a horrific backdrop of genocide, mostly against black and Hispanic faces.

Around 1980, upon the initial arrival of Saudi “Tim Osman” in Afghanistan to train Taliban precursors, the now-infamous Osama bin Laden was just in time for a surprise encounter with the National Security Advisor to former President Jimmy Carter, Council on Foreign Reltions member, and staunch globalist Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was donning a turban and shouting, “Allah is on your side.”
While there have been stranger events in history, none could have thought at the time that Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), a money laundering operation with offices in the Cayman Islands with extensive ties to the bin Laden family, would be investigated by Senator John Kerry, bringing to light ties between international banks, high officials, and extremist terrorism.
BCCI, as an indirect financial supporter of the previous so-called jihad in Afghanistan with money-laundering links to the Iran-Contra affair, would be the target of a Senate investigation led by Senator John Kerry (R- Mass.), which eventually led to the close of the bank, and exposure of U.S. business and government links to the extremist groups now known as the Taliban and al Qaeda.
Senator Max Baucus (D- Mont.), Finance Committee Chairman for the U.S. Senate, recently announced a new investigation, this time against cover corporations set up in the Cayman Islands and their shadow connections to U.S. businessmen. The Ugland House has come under intense scrutiny for having close to 19,000 registered business tenants in the 5- story Cayman building, half of which entities are American.
The investigation was initiated by the Finance Committee in a inquiry over $345 billion expected tax dollars that slip through the cracks each year.
Business and financial institutions have long used offshore entities to avoid paying taxes, but the Cayman Islands and other popular sites –like Panama and the British Virgin Islands– have been used as Illuminati sites for money-laundering –which crime is connected to the multi-billion dollar drug and human trafficking industries, among other nefarious activities. Often times, more legitimate money-makers: oil, international banking, the gold and diamond trade, and especially war, are used to mask large cash flows and illegal shipments. All of these operations are used to fund the global operations of the globalist Illuminati.
In 1998, Brzezinski admitted in an interview with Le Nouvel Observa teur that the Taliban was being funded by the Carter administration not because they were freedom fighters, but to invoke support against a more formidable enemy, Russia. This same tactic was and is being used against practicing Muslims in the world, who are the only real threat remaining to the Zionist, Illuminati-controlled one world order. By financing the likes of Al Qaeda and the Taliban, not only does the drug trade prosper, but regular Muslims come under attack by those who eventually equate the abused name of Islam with terrorism.
Many of these plots and double-plots are funded through shadow entities operating out of the Cayman Islands, formerly by the BCCI, now by unknown financial groups with similar interests.

Livingstone wrote, “Khalid bin Mahfouz –Osama bin Laden’s brother in law and the largest shareholder of BCCI– who is an important figure within the Saudi government with extensive business ties to the Bush family and the CIA” partnered his company the Saudi Investment Corporation (SICO) with the Saudi BinLaden Group, and when the bank was prosecuted under U.S. federal banking laws, “agreed to pay a $225 million settlement to pay the bank’s creditors after being found jointly liable for BCCI’s collapse.”
Tim Ashby, who served as Director of the Office of Mexico and the Caribbean for the U.S. Commerce Department and also Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for the Western Hemisphere during the time in question, as a guest columnist for the Seattle Times in October of 2004 wrote, “A decade after Kerry helped shut the bank down, the CIA discovered bin Laden was among those with accounts at the bank. A French intelligence report obtained by The Washington Post in 2002 identified dozens of companies and individuals who were involved with BCCI and were found to be dealing with bin Laden after the bank collapsed, and that the financial network operated by bin Laden today ‘is similar to the network put in place in the 1980s by BCCI.’”
“At that time, I was the U.S. Commerce Department official responsible for Panama and other Latin American countries involved in the drug trade. I held a top-secret security clearance and read CIA reports bluntly describing the bank’s role in drug-money laundering and other illegal activities,” Ashby continued.
“I witnessed how Kerry met with opposition in Washington from powerful figures in both political parties. Even President George H.W. Bush, whose son George W. Bush received a $25 million BCCI loan for one of his oil businesses, pressured Kerry to drop the investigation. Finally, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Democratic Sen. Claiborne Pell, formally asked Kerry to end his probe,” Ashby said, in what echoes today as efforts of U.S. senators to uncover the truth about the Iraq war are being continually thwarted.
According to historian John Coleman’s book The Committee of 300, at the time BCCI was indicted on several charges of being heavily involved in drug money laundering throughout the world. 35% of stock was held by the ruling families Bahrain, Sharjah, Dhubai, Saudi Arabia, Iran and groups of Middle East businessmen. BCCI Cayman Islands owned 41%, Bank of America, 24%; and BCCI Cayman Islands and BCCI Luxembourg had established Agency offices in Miami, Boca Raton, Tampa, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Because of the hidden nature of shell corporations, many of whom shuffle the same board members from outfit to outfit, Senator Baucus is proposing a legal leap to catch up with professional tax evaders in the hopes of uprooting such corruption, which not only cheats hard-working taxpayers, but as in the BCCI case, could indicate treason against the security and interests of the United States. Baucus is requesting the Senate to consider mandating financial firms to file information reports to the IRS at the point when they facilitate transfers of client funds offshore, as a method of enabling the IRS to better track tax evaders by matching that report with filed returns. This would allow the burden to rest with those possibly engaging in nefarious activities to submit proof of legitimacy instead of the IRS spending millions of better-spent dollars to ferret them out; which has proved a largely fruitless effort in the past, as to get to the bottom of offshore corruption, untouchables must first be made to testify.
The BCCI, a Saudi-funded Illuminati banker was offered up for prosecution as a sacrificial lamb when the investigation got too close to those who pulled the strings; but the main players: the House of Saud and international drug/terror/oil cartels stayed out of the reach of the law.
When prosecuted, 8 BCCI officers served jail time, fines amounting to $14 million were paid, and the bank was duly touted in Time Magazine as the “biggest fraud in banking history,” apparently satisfying the world that the investigation had reached a successful conclusion. However, the bank was not the “biggest fraud” as noted by Abid Ullah Jan in his book BCCI to ISI who claimed France’s Credit Lyonnais to have outreached BCCI with $35 billion in questionable assets, whereas prosecutors only found close to $4 billion for BCCI; and the bank’s founder “Agha Hasan Abedi—the central character of the whole story —was not touched by any of the Western governments.”
Robert Mazur, the chief Customs undercover officer in the sting operation that brought down BCCI, known as Operation C-Chase, was less than enthused with the sentencing and fines imposed upon the defunct bank, and resigned out of frustration and “my love for this country.” According to the report to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, compiled in 1992 by Senators John Kerry and Hank Brown, Mazur “continued to work for the U.S. Customs Service on the BCCI prosecution through to the conviction of the BCCI officers indicted in the case in August, 1990. But the experience had left him frustrated and angry. In April, 1991, Mazur resigned from the U.S. Customs Service in a letter to Customs Commissioner Carol Hallett, to whom he wrote the following:
‘I know that my formally advising you of the deplorable conditions in Tampa [a key BCCI location] could cause some individuals in a professional circle to question my loyalty. But it is simply out of my love for this country and our critical need for ethical government that I think its appropriate to respond to a request for my candor. . . If it had not been for the nearly two years of achievement prior to March 1988, the ultimate outcome would also have been lost. The outcome of the case, while notable, was considerably less than it could have been. The indictment of additional defendants and the seizure of substantially more drug proceeds was lost, directly as a result of the application of inadequate resources... to the investigation. This opinion is shared by individuals meaningfully involved in the successes preserved within Operation C-Chase, including the lead prosecutor.’”
Perhaps of further ire to Mazur, was the fact that long-standing Washington advisor and former Secretary of Defense Clark Clifford and his partner Robert Altman, both of First American Bankshares, while indicted for their roles in BCCI’s acquisitions and management of American banks, had the charges dropped, according to David Livingstone’s book Terrorism-Illuminati. Clifford’s incictment was dropped, like Abedi, due only to ill health; and Altman was eventually acquitted. Both men, however, agreed to a $5 million settlement with the Federal Reserve and were banned by the Fed from the banking world, as reported by the New York Times in 1998.
According to Senator Kerry’s report, Clifford and Altman were “the central figures in BCCI’s acquisitions and management of U.S. banks;” this included representing the sale of National Bank of Georgia (NBG) to BCCI nominee Ghaith Pharoun –whose Arabic name literally signifies “Mad Like Pharoah,” as well as the initial attempts by BBI to acquire First American. “Clifford and Altman have testified that they were throughout this period deceived as to BCCI’s ownership of and control of First American and other BCCI entities in the United States, and ignorant of the bank’s wrongdoing in any material respect,” read the report.
The evidence found in the case of BCCI linked international bankers to efforts to fund al Qaeda operatives, and hence bolster the eventual support for the coming War on Terror. Al Qaeda, the Taliban and other pittance lackeys were spawned, funded and trained by the Illuminati to lend credence to the War on Terror, which is carrying on the mission of wholesale genocide of innocent Muslims in Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan with a serious eye on the main target, Pakistan.
In the usual feat of double-speak, the Illuminati has declared Islamic extremists to be the enemy, whereas the extremists-the Salafis and Wahhabis- have been shown by bank records to be their greatest friends. After this, only Islam is left as the enemy; all this is being done to establish a Satanic New World Order to which true practicing Muslims pose the greatest threat.

The Ugland House developments and the international implications of those developments for peace-loving peoples remains to be seen.

Die von Amerikanern ausgerüstete und ausgebildete georgische Armee schwärmte vergangenen Donnerstag nach Südossetien ein, tötete ca. 2000 Zivilisten, vertrieb 40.000 Südosseten über die russische Grenze und zerstörte einen Großteil der Hauptstadt Tschinvali. Der Angriff wurde durch nichts provoziert und erfolgte volle 24 Stunden bevor auch nur ein einziger russischer Soldat seinen Fuß auf südossetisches Gebiet gesetzt hatte. Nichtsdestotrotz glaubt die Mehrheit der Amerikaner immer noch, dass zuerst die russische Armee auf georgisches Territorium vorgedrungen sei. BBC, AP, NPR, die New York Times und alle anderen Medien des Establishments haben ihre Leser kontinuierlich und absichtlich zu der Annahme verleitet, die Gewalt in Südossetien sei seitens des Kremls initiiert worden.

Halten wir eines fest: So war es nicht. Tatsächlich bestreitet NIEMAND die Fakten – bis auf jene Leute, die ihre Informationen aus der westlichen Presse beziehen. Obwohl sie mehr und mehr ihre Glaubwürdigkeit verlieren, fungieren die Konzernmedien weiterhin als Propaganda-Abteilung des Pentagon.

Der frühere russische Präsident Michail Gorbatschow hat die Ereignisse in seinem am Montag in der Washington Post veröffentlichten Kommentar gut zusammengefasst:

„Für einige Zeit herrschte in Südosstien relative Ruhe. Die aus Russen, Georgiern und Osseten zusammengesetzten Friedenstruppen erfüllten ihre Mission, und gewöhnliche Osseten und Georgier, die dicht nebeneinander wohnen, fanden ein gewisses Maß an gemeinsamer Grundlage ... Was in der Nacht des 07. August geschah, entzieht sich dem Verständnis. Das georgische Militär griff die südossetische Hauptstadt Tschinvali mit Stalinorgeln an, die entwickelt wurden, um große Flächen in Schutt und Asche zu legen ... Dieser Militärangriff gegen Unschuldige war eine rücksichtslose Entscheidung, deren tragische Konsequenzen für Tausende Menschen verschiedener Nationalitäten nun klar sind. Die georgische Führung konnte das nur mit der Unterstützung und Ermutigung einer sehr viel stärkeren Macht im Rücken tun. Die georgischen Streitkräfte wurden von Hunderten US-amerikanischer Ausbilder trainiert, und ihre moderne Ausrüstung wurde in diversen Ländern zusammengekauft. Diese Umstände und die versprochene NATO-Mitgliedschaft veranlassten die georgische Führung zu der Annahme, sie könnten sich eine „Blitzkrieg“ in Südossetien leisten ... Russland musste reagieren. Russland eine Aggression gegen das „kleine, hilflose“ Georgien vorzuwerfen, ist nicht nur hypokritisch, sondern menschenverachtend.“

Es stellt sich den Amerikanern nun die Frage, wem sie eher trauen wollen – Michail Gorbatschow oder den Konzernmedien?

Russland hat seine Panzer und Truppen in Südossetien eingesetzt, um das Leben von Zivilisten zu retten und den Frieden wiederherzustellen. Punktum. Es hat kein Interesse, die ehemalige Sowjetrepublik zu annektieren oder seine gegenwärtigen Grenzen sonst wie zu erweitern. Nachdem die georgische Armee nun vernichtend geschlagen wurde, haben der russische Präsident Medvedev und Premierminister Putin ihren Willen bekundet, die Angelegenheit auf dem üblichen diplomatischen Wege im Rahmen der Vereinten Nationen zu regeln. Dabei sind sie sich beide im Klaren darüber, dass Washington in die Feindseligkeiten verwickelt ist. Sie wissen, dass der georgische Präsident Michail Saakaschwili ein Handlanger der Amerikaner ist, der in Folge eines von der CIA geförderten Coups, der sogenannten “Rosenrevolution” an die Macht kam und niemals ohne explizite Anweisung seitens der Strippenzieher im Weißen Haus eine Militäraktion anordnen würde. Mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit kamen die Befehle zum Einmarsch direkt aus dem Büro des amerikanischen Vizepräsidenten, Dick Cheney.

Die georgische Armee hatte nicht die geringste Chance, einen Krieg gegen Russland zu gewinnen, und keine Absicht, das überfallene Territorium zu okkupieren. Das eigentliche Ziel war, die russische Armee in eine Falle zu locken. Die US-Planer hoffen, auch diesmal so raffiniert erfolgreich zu sein wie damals in Afghanistan; sie wollen ihr russisches Opfer in ein langes, blutiges Fiasco á la Tschetschenien locken und so die russischen Truppen im Kampf gegen Guerillakräfte aufreiben, die vom US-Militär und Geheimdiensten ausgebildet und bewaffnet werden. Der Krieg wird unter dem Vorwand geführt werden, man müsse doch Georgien vom russischen Imperialismus befreien und Putin von der Umsetzung seines angeblichen Plans abhalten, die wichtigen, in westlichem Besitz befindlichen Pipelines um das Kaspische Becken unter seine Kontrolle zu bringen. Ein Großteil dieser von “Think Tanks” zurechtgezimmerten Darstellung ist bereits in den Mainstream-Medien zu finden oder wurde seitens der amerikanischen Politik-Elite verlautbart. Derweil lenken die Kämpfe im Kaukasus davon ab, dass eine riesige Armada von US-Kriegsschiffen auf den Weg zum Persischen Golf ist, um für die langerwartete Konfrontation mit dem Iran bereit zu sein.

Die Operation Brimstone, ein gemeinsames Marinemanöver von USA, Großbritannien und Frankreich im Atlantischen Ozean, mit dem die Seeblockade gegen den Iran eingeübt wurde, ging erst letzte Woche zu Ende. Dieses Manöver diente dazu, die Seeblockade gegen den Iran und seine wahrscheinliche Reaktion zu simulieren.

Dazu Earl of Stirling auf der Global Research-Website:

"Das Manöver beinhaltete einen Flugzeugträger-Kampfgruppe der US-Navy, eine “Expeditionary Carrier”-Kampfgruppe, [eine um ein amphibisches Angriffsschiff versammelte Kampfgruppe, d.Ü.] der US-Navy, eine Flugzeugträger-Kampfgruppe der Royal Navy, ein französisches Jagd-U-Boot mit Nuklearantrieb sowie eine große Anzahl Kreuzer, Zerstörer und Fregatten der US-Navy, welche die „feindliche Flotte (darstellten). Die Führung des Manövers oblag dem amerikanischen Schiff USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN71) und seiner Flugzeugträger-Kampfgruppe 2 (CCSG-2), welche nun gemeinsam mit der von Japan kommenden USS Ronald Reagan (CVN76) und deren Flugzeugträger-Kampfgruppe 7 (CCSG-7) in Richtung Iran unterwegs sind."

Stirling fügt hinzu: "Für Russland wurde eine strategische Ablenkung geschaffen. Die südossetische Hauptstadt wurde bombardiert und eine große georgische Panzerstreitmacht rückte in Richtung Grenze vor ... Eintausend amerikanische Marines haben vor Kurzem erst das georgische Militär in Georgien ausgebildet … Russland hat erklärt, es würde nicht tatenlos zusehen, wie die Georgier Südossetien angreifen. Die Sache könnte übel ausgehen, und dabei handelt es sich lediglich um ein strategisches Ablenkmanöver ... allerdings eines, das entsetzliche Auswirkungen haben könnte."

Im Juni präsentierte der ehemalige außenpolitische Berater des US-Präsidenten Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, die Grundzüge der Geschichte, die gegen Russland verwendet werden würde. Das war genau zwei Monate vor der georgischen Invasion in Südossetien. Der Artikel erschien auf der Website des Kavkazcenter. Brzezinski sagte, die Vereinigten Staaten hätten von "Fällen möglicher Bedrohungen seitens Russland erfahren, die sich gegen Georgien richteten und bei denen es darum ging, die Baku-Ceyhan-Pipeline unter russische Kontrolle zu bekommen".

Brzezinski: "Russland tendiert dazu, die zentralasiatische Region von direktem Zugang zur Weltwirtschaft zu isolieren, insbesondere zur Energieversorgung ... Wenn die georgische Regierung destabilisiert wird, bedeutet das weitere Einschränkung für den Zugriff des Westens auf Baku, das Kaspischen Meer und andere Orte."

Unsinn. Weder Putin noch der neugewählte Präsident Dmitry Medvedev haben solche Pläne. Es ist eine absurde Annahme, Russland würde sich nach zwei nutzlosen Kriegen in Tschetschenien und Afghanistan und nach den Jahren aufreibender Armut und sozialer Unruhe, die dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion folgten, nun in einen Energiekrieg mit der Nuklearmacht USA stürzen. Das wäre völliger Wahnsinn. Brzezinskis Spekulation gehört zu einer umfangreicheren Geschichte, die für die westlichen Medien ausgearbeitet wurde, um eine Rechtfertigung für die anstehenden Aggressionen gegen Russland zu haben. Brzezinski ist nicht nur Architekt der von den Mudshaheddin angeführten Kampagne gegen Russland im Afghanistan der 1980er, sondern auch Autor des Buchs Die Welt als Schachbrett – Amerikanische Vorherrschaft und ihre geostrategischen Notwendigkeiten, der operativen Theorie hinter dem Krieg gegen den Terror, welche die massive Intervention seitens der USA in Zentralasien beinhaltet, um die dortigen Ressourcen zu kontrollieren, Russland zu zerschlagen und den Produktionsgiganten China zu umzingeln.

Die Welt als Schachbrett ist die Neuauflage des “Großen Spiels“ für das 21. Jahrhundert. Das Buch beginnt mit dieser bedeutsamen Erklärung:

"Seit die Kontinente vor ungefähr fünfhundert Jahren politisch zu interagieren begannen, war Eurasien ein Zentrum der Weltmacht ... Der Schlüssel zur Kontrolle Eurasiens, so Brzezinski, liegt in der Kontrolle der zentralasiatischen Republiken."

Das ist Herz und Seele des Krieges gegen den Terror. Dem Expertengremium hinter dem “endlosen Konflikt” geht es im Grunde um Zentralasien. Es war die pro-israelische Fraktion in der Republikanischen Partei, die den Schalter umlegte und den Fokus auf den Mittleren Osten verlegte anstatt auf Eurasien. Nun haben sich die mächtigen Mitglieder des US-amerikanischen Außenpolitik-Establishments (Brzezinski, Albright, Holbrooke) hinter dem populistischen "Papp-"Präsidentschaftskandidaten Barak Obama neu aufgestellt und bereiten sich darauf vor, die amerikanischen Kriegsaktivitäten an asiatische Schauplätze zu verlegen. Obama bietet seinen Wählern die Wahl zwischen verschiedenen Kriegen, aber keine gegen Krieg.

Am Sonntag beschuldigte Brzezinski Russland imperialistischer Ambitionen und verglich in einem Interview mit Nathan Gardels Putin mit „Stalin und Hitler“.

Gardels: "Wie soll die Welt Russlands Einmarsch in Georgien verstehen?"

Zbigniew Brzezinski: "Es geht darum, welche Rolle Russland im neuen internationalen System (alias New World Order) spielen wird. Leider bringt Putin Russland auf einen Kurs, der unheilverheißend dem von Stalin und Hitler in den späten 1930ern ähnelt. Der schwedische Außenminister Carl Bildt hat richtigerweise Putins „Rechtfertigung“ für die Zergliederung Georgiens – nämlich die Russen auf georgischem Territorium – mit Hitlers Taktik hinsichtlich der damaligen Sudetendeutschen auf tschechoslowakischem Territorium verglichen. Noch unheimlicher ist die Ähnlichkeit von Putins Vorgehen in Bezug auf Georgien mit dem von Stalin in Bezug auf Finnland: die Souveränität eines kleinen, demokratischen Nachbarlandes mit Gewalt zerrütten. In Hinblick auf den moralischen und strategischen Effekt ist Georgia heute in der gleichen Situation wie damals Finnland.

Die internationale Gemeinschaft steht nun vor der Frage, wie man auf ein Russland reagieren soll, das zur Umsetzung größerer imperialistischer Bestrebungen rohe Gewalt anwendet: Die früheren Sowjetrepubliken sollen wieder unter die Kontrolle des Kremls gebracht werden und dem Westen soll der Zugang zum Kaspischen Meer und nach Zentralasien abgeschnitten werden, indem man die durch Georgien verlaufende Baku-Ceyhan-Pipeline unter seine Kontrolle bringt.

Kurz gesagt, es steht sehr viel auf dem Spiel. Es geht um den Zugang zu Öl, das eine immer knapper und teurer werdende Ressource ist. Es geht darum, wie sich eine Großmacht in unserer heutigen, gerade erst unabhängig gewordenen Welt aufführt. Ihr Verhalten sollte auf Entgegenkommen und Konsens beruhen, nicht auf brutaler Gewalt.

Wenn Georgien zergliedert wird, wird nicht nur der Westen vom Zugang zum Kaspischen Meer und nach Zentralasien abgeschnitten sein. Wir können logisch voraussehen, dass Putin, falls er auf keinen Widerstand trifft, dieselbe Taktik auf die Ukraine anwenden wird. Öffentliche Drohungen gegen die Ukraine hat er ja bereits geäußert."

Brzezinski ist sehr stolz darauf, ein disziplinierter und vernünftiger Sprecher im Namen der Projekte des US-amerikanischen Imperialismus zu sein. Es passt gar nicht zu ihm, sich solcher hysterischen Rhetorik zu bedienen. Womöglich ist die Situation noch angespannter als wir wissen. Könnte es vielleicht sein, dass das Finanzsystem seiner Kernschmelz-Phase sehr viel näher ist als wir alle ahnen?

Es sollte aus Brzesinskis Kommentar klar geworden sein, dass Georgiens Invasion in Südossetien keine zusammenhanglose Demonstration neokonservativen Imponiergehabes war, sondern Teil einer übergeordneten Strategie, Russland in einen endlosen Konflikt zu ziehen, der seine Ressourcen auslaugen, sein internationales Ansehen beschädigen und seinen Machtbestrebungen Einhalt gebieten, des weiteren die zerfaserte Allianz zwischen Europa und Amerika stärken und die Aufmerksamkeit von der größer angelegten Unternehmung im Persischen Golf ablenken soll. Es ist besonders beunruhigend, dass Brzezinski in diese Pläne involviert zu sein scheint. Brzezinski, Holbrooke und Albright bilden das “A-Team des Imperialismus”. Sie sind keine Neocon-Stümper in Schlüsselpositionen wie Feith und Rumsfeld, die sich schon selbst ein Bein stellen, wenn sie morgens aufstehen wollen. Das sind kaltblütige Macchiavelli-Imperialisten, die genau wissen, wie sie die Medien und die diplomatischen Kanäle füttern müssen, um ihre völkermörderischen Absichten unter einem Deckmantel von humanitärem Gesülze zu verstecken. Sie wissen, was sie tun, und sie sind gut darin. Das sind keine Deppen. Sie haben sich in das Obama-Lager gemischt und bereiten sich für ihren nächsten großen Anlauf als globale Unruhestifter vor. Das sollte jenen Wählern die Augen öffnen, die immer noch der Meinung sind, Obama stehe für „Veränderung, an die wir glauben können“.

Richard Holbrooke hatte am Dienstag bei der Lokal-Neokonservativen Margaret Warner einen Auftritt in der Jim Lerher News Hour. Wie es für Warners “unparteiische” Herangehensweise typisch ist, gehörten alle beide Interviewpartner zum ultra-konservativen Lager in rechtsgerichteten „Think-Tanks“: Richard Holbrooke vom Council on Foreign Relations und Dimitri Simes vom Nixon Center.

Laut Holbrooke haben „die Russen (die Kämpfe in Südossetien) absichtlich provoziert und zeitlich genau auf die Zeit der Olympiade gelegt. Dies ist ein lange geplanter Versuch seitens der Russen, Präsident Saakaschwili zu beseitigen.“

Richtig. Das ist bestimmt auch der Grund, warum Putin so geschockt war, als er (in Beijing) von der Sache erfuhr, und warum er so eilig zurück nach Moskau flog (nicht ohne Bush vorher noch ärgerlich mit dem Zeigefinger zu drohen!).

Holbrooke: "Und ich möchte betonen, dass ich kein Kriegstreiber bin. Ich will genauso wenig einen neuen Kalten Krieg wie Dimitri hier ... Die Russen wollen sich ihre historische Hegemonie zurückbeschaffen, und dazu gehört die Ukraine. Und es ist kein Zufall, daß die anderen ehemaligen Sowjetrepubliken dabei zuschauen und außerordentlich beunruhigt sind, während Putin immer weiter versucht, sich eine Art Hegemonialterritorium zu schaffen."

Es ist nicht möglich, hier auf all die von Holbrooke geäußerten Verzerrungen, Halbwahrheiten und Lügen allein in diesem einen Absatz einzugehen. Es ist jedoch wichtig zu erkennen, dass eine falsche Darstellung konstruiert wird, um Putin zu dämonisieren und künftige Feindseligkeiten gegen Russland zu rechtfertigen. Holbrookes Behauptungen sind nicht weniger erfunden wie die von Brzezinski, und doch tauchen diese Lügen bereits in den Mainstream-Medien auf. Die Hauptstoßrichtung für die Propaganda wurde bereits festgelegt: "Putin stellt eine Gefahr dar ","Putin will das Sowjetimperium neu errichten", "Putin ist ein Autokrat". (Ganz im Gegensatz zu unseren “freiheitsliebenden” Alliierten in Saudi-Arabien, Jordanien und Ägypten, oder wie!?!) Die Wahrheit ist, dass Putin einfach froh ist, Russland wirtschaftlich wieder auf die Beine kommen zu sehen, und dabei gerne in Ruhe gelassen werden möchte. Das aber ist unmöglich, solange die USA 24 Stunden täglich damit verbringen, andere Leute zu piesacken. Die Welt verdient eine Pause von diesen überaus lästigen USA.

Warum wird nun Putin seitens Brzezinski und seinen Unterstützern im Außenpolitik-Establishment dämonisiert und Russland mit "Ächtung, Isolation und Wirtschaftssanktionen“ bedroht? Welches Verbrechen hat Putin begangen?

Putins Probleme lassen sich zurückverfolgen zu einer Rede, die er vor fast zwei Jahren in München hielt, als er unmissverständlich erklärte, er lehne die Grundsätze der Bush-Doktrin und der globalen US-Hegemonie ab. Diese Rede kam einer russischen Unabhängigkeitserklärung gleich. Seitdem steht er für die westlichen Eliten, insbesondere für das Council on Foreign Relations und das American Enterprise Institute auf der Feindliste, zusammen mit Ahmadinedshad, Chavez, Castro, Morales, Mugabe und allen anderen, die es ablehnen, von der Washingtoner Mafia Befehle entgegenzunehmen.

Folgendes hat Putin damals in München gesagt:

"Was ist aber eine monopolare Welt? Wie dieser Begriff auch immer ausgeschmückt werden mag - im Endeffekt bedeutet er in der Praxis nur eines: Ein Zentrum der Macht, ein Zentrum der Kraft und ein Zentrum der Beschlussfassung.
Das ist die Welt eines Herrschers, eines Souveräns. Im Endeffekt ist das nicht nur für diejenigen verderblich, die sich im Rahmen dieses Systems befinden, sondern auch für den Souverän selbst, weil es ihn von innen zerstört. ... Was noch wichtiger ist: Das Modell selbst funktioniert nicht, weil seine Grundlage nicht die moralische Basis der gegenwärtigen Zivilisation enthält und auch nicht enthalten kann.

Die einseitigen und des öfteren unlegitimen Handlungen haben kein einziges Problem gelöst. Mehr noch: Sie haben zu neuen menschlichen Tragödien und zu neuen Spannungsherden geführt. Urteilen Sie selbst: Die Kriege sowie die lokalen und regionalen Konflikte sind nicht weniger geworden. Herr Teltschik hat gerade das durchaus sanft erwähnt. Dabei sterben in diesen Konflikten nicht weniger, sondern sogar mehr Menschen als früher. Wesentlich mehr - wesentlich mehr!

Heute beobachten wir eine fast durch nichts gezügelte und übertriebene Anwendung von militärischer Gewalt in den internationalen Angelegenheiten. Einer Gewalt, die die Welt in die Tiefen einander ablösender Konflikte stößt. Als Folge reichen die Kräfte nicht für eine umfassende Lösung zumindest eines einzelnen davon. Auch ihre politische Lösung wird unmöglich.

Wir beobachten eine immer stärkere Vernachlässigung der grundlegenden Prinzipien des Völkerrechts. Mehr noch: Einzelne Normen, eigentlich schon beinahe das gesamte Rechtssystem eines einzelnen Staates, in erster Linie natürlich der Vereinigten Staaten, haben die nationalen Grenzen in allen Bereichen überschritten und werden sowohl in der Wirtschaft als auch in der Politik und in der humanitären Sphäre anderen Staaten aufgedrängt. Wem könnte das denn gefallen? Wem könnte das gefallen?

In den internationalen Angelegenheiten ist immer häufiger das Streben zu sehen, diese oder jene Fragen ausgehend von der sogenannten politischen Zweckmäßigkeit zu lösen, der die aktuelle politische Konjunktur zu Grunde liegt. Das ist natürlich äußerst gefährlich. Und das führt dazu, dass sich niemand mehr in Sicherheit fühlt. Ich möchte das betonen: Niemand fühlt sich mehr in Sicherheit! Weil sich niemand hinter der schützenden Mauer des Völkerrechts verbergen kann. Eine solche Politik katalysiert natürlich das Wettrüsten. ...

Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass wir an einem Grenz-Zeitpunkt angelangt sind, an dem wir uns ernsthafte Gedanken über die gesamte Architektur der globalen Sicherheit machen müssen.”

Jedes dieser Worte Putins entsprach der Wahrheit. Deshalb wurde diese Rede in den westlichen Medien auch nicht abgedruckt.

“Einseitige und des öfteren unlegitime Handlungen”, die “fast durch nichts gezügelte und übertriebene Anwendung von militärischer Gewalt”, die “immer stärkere Vernachlässigung der grundlegenden Prinzipien des Völkerrechts ”, und vor allem: “Niemand fühlt sich mehr in Sicherheit!”

Putins Ansprüche sind alle unanfechtbar, deshalb steht er im Fadenkreuz der Neocons. Er stellt eine direkte Herausforderung für das – wie Brzezinski es nennt - "internationale System" dar, welches nichts anderes ist als das Konzern- und Bankenkartell, das von der westlichen Oligarchie gewissenloser Geschäftemacher kontrolliert wird.

Südossetien war eine Falle, und Putin hat den Köder geschluckt. Allerdings ist der schlaue russische Ministerpräsident erheblich gescheiter als die gesamte gegenwärtige US-Regierung. Bush’s Plan wird garantiert nach hinten losgehen und das geopolitische Machtgefüge aus dem Gleichgewicht bringen. Vielleicht bekommt die Welt dann doch noch ihre Atempause von den USA.
