Prim overload is never a pretty sight, especially not when fullbright is added to the equastion. The barbie is fairly standard grid kajira material, the chopstick christmas tree, is pretty uneasy on the eye (sunglasses clamped to eyes til my retina recover). As for the man, bless his little socks, he made an effort however......the ubiquitos eyepatch is becoming overdone to a point of no return, it clashes with that dead animal menagerie and in all honesty, its outright gaudy.....i know it sucks to dress the same as others but a trip to husky is badly needed. Accessories are good...in moderation. OVER ACCESSORISING IS NOT PRETTY MY FELLOW GOREANS, before you set foot into the city, have a think, do these match? is this too much? AM I GOING TO LAG THE FUCK OUT OF THE NEXT POOR DOOMED SIM I TELEPORT INTO? (really the 5 year rez would be a give away to us smart people)

i find myself trying to curb my feelings,
telling myself to STOP
being so sensitive,
stop being so excited,
stop being so happy,
stop being disappointed.
but then it occurred to me that feelings are a part of life,
evidence that i am here
and breathing and experiencing the world around me.
to feel is what separates me from the dead
because the dead no longer have senses.
the dead stay stationary and their time to feel is
done.
their last feelings of
pain, relief, regret, sadness, joy,
anguish, fear, shaking, crashing,
accidents, birth, gunshots, stabbing,
life, laughter, reaching, grabbing,
desperation, depression, elation, and happy,
"I wish I had more time,"
"This is right on time,"
"God it's about time!"
inhale, exhale, in between,
noise, silence, and then more silence
is what carried them between this world and the next.
whereas i reside on this side of the universe,
whereas i am an alive, growing, living, breathing being,
i declare that today,
i feel.

"There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day.

And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table. Dogs even used to come and lick his sores.

When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried, and from the netherworld, where he was in torment, he raised his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.

And he cried out, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me.

the mp3 is in the wastebasket. i killed it. there was nothing i could do. i called a store to see if they could help. the guy i talked to was nice. he said he thought that i reformatted the operating system. that sounds ominous. he wasn't even sure if their super smart people would be able to do anything about it. he didn't make me feel dumb at all, which i appreciated. anyway. he gave me the number for the manufacturer and i called them. but all i got was an automated voice asking me to email them or visit their website with my query. screw that! so i threw the dead thing in the trash (it wouldn't even turn on). and ordered a new with twice the memory for less money.

and then i went out and bought a new computer. which i have pretty much been on all day. downloading music and browsing the internet. moving files around. i'm just glad i put most of the music that was on my mp3 onto my external hard drive. at least i still have it. i should get the mp3 sometime tomorrow. probably when i'm at work. if my brother opens it....

if anyone has music suggestions i'd like to hear them. not that anyone reads this babble.

Liking dead musicians has certain advantages. My personal favorite is that I can ruin any song by explaining what the now-dead artist was going through around the time that they wrote that song. It generally goes like this:

ME: (plugs iPod into speakers) Ah, I love this song.
PERSON: Yeah, this is really good. It's very sad.
ME: Yeah. It sort of hints at the deep depression that prompted the artist to commit suicide.
PERSON: Oh... (skips to next song) Hey, this is really catchy.
ME: Yes, it is. I think this is the first thing he wrote after he got diagnosed with brain cancer.
PERSON: Oh... (skips to next song) This is good, too.
ME: Yup, she's dead.

The only downside I can think of for liking dead musicians is that corpses can't do concerts. So my glass is half full.

President-in-thief Bush called Helms “a kind, decent, and humble man and a passionate defender of what he called “the Miracle of America.” So it is fitting that this great patriot left us on the Fourth of July.”

Here are a few choice words from Helms:

“Your tax dollars are being used to pay for grade school classes that teach our children that cannibalism, wife-swapping and the murder of infants and the elderly are acceptable behavior.”

“I’ve been portrayed as a caveman by some. That’s not true. I’m a conservative progressive, and that means I think all men are equal, be they slants, beaners, or niggers.”

"White people, wake up before it is too late. Do you want Negroes working beside you, your wife and your daughters, in your mills and factories? Frank Graham favors mingling of the races."

Another ad featured photographs Helms himself had doctored to illustrate the allegation that Graham's wife had danced with a black man. (The News and Observer, 8/26/01; The New Republic, 6/19/95; The Observer, 5/5/96; Hard Right: The Rise of Jesse Helms, by Ernest B. Furgurson, Norton, 1986)

"Martin Luther King repeatedly refers to his 'non-violent movement.' It is about as non-violent as the Marines landing on Iwo Jima."

"When Carol Moseley-Braun of Illinois became the first African-American woman to sit in the Senate, Helms followed Moseley-Braun into an elevator, announcing to Utah Senator Orrin Hatch: "Watch me make her cry. I'm going to make her cry. I'm going to sing 'Dixie' until she cries."

Then, emphasizing the lines about how "good" things were before the Civil War ended slavery, Helms sang "Dixie.""

I have been striking total blanks when it comes to poetry the last couple of weeks. So, I thought that maybe I should just show that I'm still alive and put a couple of freestyles down from my efforts a week or so ago. I was skyping with a friend of mine and we decided to do some freestyling. I don't generally do that, so don't laugh.

Effort 1:
No thoughts to think
No eyes to blink
No prayers to pray
No words to say
No tears to cry
No air to sigh
Nothing to be said
Everything just feels so dead

And then also this one:

I heard the blade
Too late she prayed
Didn't turn around
It's song was sung
The damage done
Not enough time to run

And btw, in case someone was actually interested, the girl I was fighting with and I made peace. Thankfully.

This is a must watch episode of Code Geass R2. First, because it marks the 2nd half of the series, having new opening and ending songs and animation. The opening song kinda retains in your head. And its animation is especially cool. I liked the part where characters (Schneizel, C.C., Suzaku and Nunnally) are flashed consecutively and the part where all the Knightmares were shown.

The ending song was not that enjoyable for me but the angelic Clamp trademark animation is excellent.

And second, so many things happened. JUST SO MANY!!! And I can't help but feel sad about this episode.

The whole episode revolves around Shirley whose memories have returned. It was so like her memorial day. But first off, we have Orange-kun attacking Ashford, cancelling Rolo's geass while CAUGHT in it and having an awesome fight scene with ninja/maid Sayoko. And thanks to Jason, I was not able to miss the superb panty shot that comes with the action scene.

[wp_caption id="attachment_84" align="aligncenter" width="510" caption="Sneak Preview"][/wp_caption]
[wp_caption id="attachment_85" align="aligncenter" width="510" caption="The Real Shot"][/wp_caption]

At the same time, V.V. and Cornelia meet in the Order hallway. This scene just showed that V.V. is an immortal or I may say cannot be killed by ordinary means and that Cornelia seems to have gotten some rest before R2 since she seems way hotter now.

Afterward, Lelouch, Shirley and Suzaku meet while Lulu is testing his anti-Sakuradite train and while Shirley is trying to tell Suzaku that Lulu is Zero. And then, Shirley goes into a fit and falls. For one moment, I thought she would already go into a worthless death.

And here goes Orange-kun facing off with Lelouch. And poof! Orange-kun suddenly confesses his lust loyalty to Empress Marianne (Lelouch's mom). And so now, Orange-kun is part of the Black Knights.

Finally, there is the Shirley x Rolo match-up. How stupid of Shirley to pick the line "And his sister Nunnally as well." But, just WTF is that gay brother thinking to kill Shirley just like that. It made me want to kick his ass and slice him the way Sekai was minced by Kotonoha. Now, I am one swimsuit fanservice short. Damn Rolo!

Shirley meeting up with Lulu before her death was a very toching moment. At some point, I was really hoping that Lulu's geass would take effect and make Shirley live. I think I replayed Shirley's lines to Lulu about 7 more times after I finished the episode. It says:

"No matter how many time I'm reborn, I'm sure I'll fall in love with you again."

If Lelouch didn't have this emo facial distortion, I would have dumped him in the garbage together with his gay sister brother wannabe.

It must be my lucky year, but I have yet another broken hard drive.
When your hard drive starts clic

It must be my lucky year, but I have yet another broken hard drive.

When your hard drive starts clicking and clunking (oh and don't worry... you'll be able to tell when it does)..... lets face it. You've pretty much got a dead hard drive on your hands! If your lucky enough to be able to still switch your computer on, for the love of kittens back it up because it

will

die!!

There are three ways a hard drive can die. In general this would be either electronically, logically or mechanically (the worst). If your hard drive is clicking, we're likely to be talking about a mechanical failure. This is definitely bad and I really do feel for you, but read on and maybe there is a tiny (I mean tiny) smidgem chance you may be able to save the data.

Firstly. DON'T KEEP MINDLESSLY TURNING YOUR COMPUTER ON AND OFF!!!! It isn't coming back to life and will definitely will damage what ever is on the hard drive. This is because inside your hard drive there are platters (I will call them disks) and rows of arms that read data off them. What may be causing your clicking problem is that the arms are unaligned and actually hitting the surface of your disks. Either that or theres something stopping the spindle inside from turning all the way around.

Second. You could try taking out the hard drive and putting it as a slave drive in a different computer. This means putting it as an extra storage drive in a computer with a healthy and working hard drive to load Windows (or whatever) from. Maybe you can access it from here, but if it doesn't work it doesn't work so don't keep trying. You may ruin it.

Third. You could try various Data Recovery programs like Spinrite 6. They provide only a small chance because your hard drive is mechanically broken, but its worth one try.

Fourth. Try turning the hard drive on its side or upside down to see if it helps the spindle start spinning. If this works, back everything up quickly.

Fifth. You can put the Hard Drive in the freezer. No, really you can! There are lots and lots of people, who after putting theirs in a freezer it has worked temporarily. This is because the extreme temperature can bring the parts inside back into alignment temporarily (but only temporarily). Put it in a zip up bag to prevent condensation, leave it for an hour then try it. If still doesn't work, or didn't work for very long try leaving it overnight instead. When it does finally load up, you will need to be quick because it could die again at any point. If it didn't work after doing it overnight.... don't try again!

Sixth. Give it two swift (but gentle) taps. Some people in rare cases, have found hitting it makes it work. These are extremely rare however, so just make it two taps!!

Or you may want to consider taking it to a data recovery centre. Where they can safely open it up in a clean room and try to fix what is wrong. It will cost you though, so you need to ask yourself if its worth it.

What ever you do, don't try opening up the hard drive yourself. The parts/ disks are so delicate that they need to be handled and assembled in a 100 clean room. If any particle of dust, skin, hair (or dribble, if its simply too much for you) gets into the inside then its dead forever. That thing spins at a terrifyingly fast speed, so if theres anything in the way its going to hurt it! Although if you've definitely ruled out paying for it, then I suppose it wouldn't hurt to attempt making a clean room!

If anyone has any advice or other suggestions on this subject, please feel free to write in the comments. No advertising of your data recovery services though please, I have a collection of small animals with sharp teeth and I am not afraid to set them onto you!

I will update later on at the progress of my own DIY recovery!

Prototypical date movies should inspire the warm fuzzies, whether or not you actually like the perso

Prototypical date movies should inspire the warm fuzzies, whether or not you actually like the person you're watching it with. This is all well and good, but there are those of us who'd rather avoid the second date. For that, the solution is simple: choose a movie without the warm fuzzies.

Great films work especially well --- more often than not, they're just as effective as that Date Movie/Epic Movie double feature, and not as needlessly painful. Case in point:

Schindler's List

Pitch the movie: Liam Neeson, a German man living through World War II, overcomes overwhelming odds.

Don't say tnat: Nazi-affiliated profiteer Liam Neeson risks everything to save more than a thousand Jews from the death camps. Includes some graphic Holocaust images.

During the movie: Suggest a drinking game. Be imaginative.

Girl, Interrupted

Pitch the movie: Winona Ryder struggles with growing up at the turn of the century. An emotional rollercoaster with a feel-good ending.

Don't say that: After a six-month stint in a mental hospital, Winona Ryder is diagnosed with a borderline personality order. The film includes candid --- and merciless --- presentations of sexuality, drugs and suicide.

During the movie: Wheeze heavily, and mutter under your breath. Say you identify with Ryder's character.

The Elephant Man

Pitch the movie: In this madcap drama, producer Mel Brooks asks questions about life and the worth of living.

Don't say that: A former circus freak wants only lives peacefully and alone, but is caught forever in cyclic and brutal encounters with humanity.

During the movie: Cheer.

D.O.A.

Pitch the movie: In this thriller, one man tracks down a killer, with only a single tip from an anonymous source.

Don't say that: At the beginning of this classic film noir, a man about to be married is told during a vacation to the big city that he's been poisoned and has less than 24 hours to live. He spends the rest of the movie tracking down his killer.

During the movie: "Look on the bright side: He's dying a single man."

American Psycho

Pitch the movie: In a manic farce, the well-to-do Christian Bale enjoys himself by visiting a fantasy world of his own creation.

Don't say that: In a bloody film worthy of its title, businessman Christian Bale finds himself killing again and again, more and more brutally, for absolutely no reason.

During the movie: "I know exactly how he feels."

****

You might run into a little snag if she's seen all of these movies. In that case, she's a keeper.

[wp_caption id="attachment_79" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Dead body of Sangita rai found at Hotel Siraj, Chata chowk, Dharan"][/wp_caption]

Saturday morning, I woke up with a phone call, that said, a dead body has been found at Hotel Siraj, chatachowk. I just rushed with my camera within 10 minutes. I reached there, saw the dead body of a lady(in the picture). took some pictures and started asking the authority.(wat a day to start off).

Here is something i knew from the authority.
Name of the girl was Sangita Rai, age 19,originally from Bhojpur. She was staying at Dharan-18 with her aunt(maiju). She was national karate player and recently she had won silver medal in a tournament at Guwahati India. The day before the incident (friday evening), she left the home saying to go for the training, said her aunt. She stayed at the hotel with a boy named Bikash Rai. The hotel register says, they booked the hotel room saying they were husband and wife despite being unmarried. Everything was fine untill around 6 am in the saturday morning when there was shouting of pain and agony. The hotel person rushed and saw the girl murdered, laid in the floor, and the boy bikas stabbed himself at his stomach with knife. He was taken to Hospital immediately. While at the hospital bikash rai admitted he killed sangita and tried to kill himself by saking his head.He too died at around 10 am while undergoing treatment.

After going through the evidences, it was found that Bikash was the student of Nepal commerce college, Kathmandu. He came to dharan to meet her.(a bus ticket of ugrachandi travels was found of the previous day). They spent the night together and in the morning, he killed the girl,(her throat was cut) he took poison and stabbed the knife himself at his stomach.(a small piece of intestine was found near the dead body of girl). There was a love letter found at the scenario written by the boy.

Still some questions remain unanswered.
What could have happened for them to end their lives themself?
What was their relation?
If they didn't have good relation, how could the girl stayed with the boy in the hotel?
Why couldn't she call him to his aunt?
Was he planned to commit murder and suicide?
Why did they have poison and the knife?
The these questions remain unanswered...!!!

I haven’t updated this at all, have I? I suppose I don’t really have much to say, nothin

I haven't updated this at all, have I? I suppose I don't really have much to say, nothing I would bother blogging about, anyway. Same old boring life, same old boring country. I suppose I should update this, maybe actually put some use to this retarded blog. I do have a few things I want to say though.

My friend recently linked me to this article over MSN. This is probably the most retarded thing I've ever seen, how the fuck could a person mistake the Moon for a UFO? Was this guy just a farmer that was sitting on the back of his sheep one night wandering through the hills? How the fuck could he not know what the moon looked like? I'm starting to wonder if he called up as a joke or not, but after listening to the call you can see that the man thinks that it's serious business.

I've been in a total gaming slump seriously. As some of you may know I am totally behind in gaming right now (because I've been in a total slump!). I haven't been able to get many games completed at all. I recently got a PSP and haven't completed a single game for it yet (Although I've almost finished the Final Fantasy remakes). Why am I even mentioning this? God damn it, you don't care.

More boredom, obviously. I have absolutely nothing to do except maintain a crappy blog that nobody is even reading. That's right, nobody is reading this at all, why do I keep on typing even though I know nobody will read it? For shits and giggles, I suppose. Gives me something to do when I can't be fucked to do anything else. Might even submit a few more drawings up, or just remove everything I have up that's even remotely close to a drawing and leave all the posts as LOLWALLOFTEXT.. yeah, I think that's a good thing to do.

As I've explained, I'm kind of a nerd. One symptom of this nerdiness is that I really love quotes. I get Quotes of the Day emails, and I'm pretty selective in choosing which quotes I love enough to add to my quote book (which I obviously have). I liked this quote enough to share it with all of you:

"Why shouldn't things be largely absurd, futile, and transitory? They are so, and we are so, and they and we go very well together." [George Santayana]

Pretty damn wise, right? In other news, every time I read a quote by George Santayana, I can't help but think that I'm reading a quote by Carlos Santana. As it turns out, these two dudes are preeetty different. For starters, one of them is a dead philosopher, and the other is a living rock star.

Not a rock star...

Definitely a rock star...

Got it?
