I had a sudden craving of old-skool Usher, more specifically the 8701 album (Not his first, I know). Yeah, remember this? This was the album that really got me into Usher.

I remember this came out when I was in 4th grade. I remember that because Steven S. thought he was Usher back then. Haha! He would bring "U Don't Have to Call"'s lyrics, and he's try to go all gangstah and rap. I was also friends with Whitney F. and Alex C., who went to his concert then. I remember both of them wearing the t-shirt, while we were sitting out at our tree across the two-ball cage.

Anyway, I miss music like this. I feel like alot of the stuff now-a-days are starting to sound alike, don't cha think?

Usher's new music like "Love in this Club" is like intensely sexual, too (as if other songs aren't), and dude, Usher's married to a man, now. XD I mean, geez. What happened? I wasn't really into the whole Usher-Chilli thing, but man, Chilli is so much of a step-up from his wife. Ah, but I guess you can't judge love, right? I just think a guy like Usher would be able to get it with some better booty. Haha! How old is Tameka anyway? Man, no one can still beat Demi Moore. At least with Ashton Kutcher, even though Demi's old, Demi's still got it, ya know what I mean? I remember Briana N., who was a fan of Usher, too, told me Usher was a nymphomaniac. XD Back then, I was like, WHAT? ...What does that mean? *o* HAHAHA! Oh, how young I was then.

I still used cassettes when I was in 4th grade, and my boombox had a cassette recorder (I'm not too sure if boomboxes nowadays have those. Although who uses boomboxes now-a-days? Everybody got them iHomes.). One of my favorite songs then was "I Need a Girl (Part One)" by P.Diddy, which featured Usher. I used to love that song, and I still do (I'm listening to it right now). I wouldn't wait 'til it plays, but I would leave my cassette recording while I sleep, and listen to it in the morning, and it recorded this song. I was like, "YES!" Haha! I was a dork then... and I still am. XD I got some Ashanti in there, and that was when she was huge then. I wasn't into her music, though. Briana N. was.

Hm. Now, I have a sudden craving for some of Mario's "Let Me Love You". That song was th sh*t back then, too, but it was a little later. I think JC G. had it as his Xanga's background music, and so did Michelle A. :P That was THE background music. Ya know how there's this one song that is usually everybody's background? Yeah, that was it. What happened to Mario, too? He was like a contestant in Dancing with the Stars last season, and I thought only stars that were wearing out only go there (with an exception of Billy Cyrus, who is still holding out by whoring out his little Hannah Montana twit). Now, he has new songs. I have them in my iTunes, but I don't listen to 'em. Enh.

Disclosure (1994)

The movie about sexual harrasment of a man by a woman boss challenges the audience to think. As one of Sanders' colleagues tells him "Who has ever heard of a women sexually harrasing a man!" (my paraphrasing). Sexual harrasment was once considered a problem that involved a male boss asking his female subordinate for sexual favors. However, as an increasing number of women move up in the corporate hierarchy the nature of sexual harrasment is changing. If sexual harrasment is about power and control as many believe, anybody (regardless of sex) may perpetuate it and victimize another person. However, as the movie demonstrates so well, social beliefs about a 'man-on-woman' model of sexual harrasment are so pervasive that a man who complains about being sexually harrased by a female boss is likely to have a difficult time proving his innocence and the other person's guilt!

The movie is recommended for human resource management, organizational behavior, and business law classes. It is entertaining and thought-provoking!

WHEN YOU LOVE SOMEONE-BRYAN ADAMS-THE SCARLET LETTER  *******This is one of the most popular stories about judgement.  Although her husband was believed to be lost at sea, faithfulness was still expected from Hester Prynne.  The condemnation she received from falling in love with, committing adultery and bearing a child from the town minister was quite harsh.  It's hard to fight love, but in this case, it was highly advisable.  I'm glad divorce is an option nowadays, even though many still choose to sneak around because not too many spouses get lost at sea anymore.  Tsk, tsk you Scarlet Letter A'er's...I'm not judgin'! ;) *******

It really bothers me that celebrities keep naming their babies weird names. Why do they do it? Probably for more press, to keep talk about them up, blah blah. As if they need more publicity - having a baby in Hollywood alone gets you plenty of press. It just really bugs me because if these kids weren't the children of famous stars, they would be beaten in school for having their names. But, just because they are KIND OF famous for having celeb parents they will get a free pass. Thats a load of BS if you ask me. Every parent in their right mind tries to name their baby something beautiful, something unique, and something that won't get them wedgies and knuckle sandwiches on the playground. Not celebrities though, they do the opposite - they sit down and try to think of the strangest words possible. They don't even think of names most of the time, they've moved on to naming their offspring after brand names or labels or foods. It's just weird.

While Matthew McConaughey (sigh) just named his kid Levi, here some other weird baby celebrity names used so far and the parents who are to blame:

After all, my name does mean "downy," a.k.a. feathery, flocculent, fluffy, etc. Maybe the stars have it right... nah, I don't think so. My kids are going to be named Matthew and Jenna - normal, pretty sounding names!

Em primeiro lugar, como o beijo mais lembrado do cinema foi o beijo entre Demi Moore e Patrick Swayze no filme Ghost - Do Outro Lado da Vida (1990).

Em segundo lugar, em uma pesquisa que abordou tanto mulheres como homens, foi o beijo com macarrão de A Dama e o Vagabundo (1995)

E em terceiro, o beijo que Swayze dá em Jennifer Grey em Dirty Dancing – Ritmo Quente (1987).

Agora separando os sexos o resultado da pesquisa muda um pouco de figura, já que entre as mulheres, Patrick Swayze ganha disparado como o melhor beijoqueiro das telonas, pois elas elegeram os beijos de Ghost e de Dirty Dancing como os melhores, com 50% e 43%, respectivamente.

Já entre os homens, Ghost ganhou com 40% dos votos, enquanto A Dama e o Vagabundo ficou em segundo com 36% e em terceiro aparece o beijo de Leonardo DiCaprio e Kate Winslet em Titanic, com 23%.

I love heist movies, and I especially love the ones where you can't really figure out how they did it. There seems to be two types of heist films, the ones where the actual heist is the main focus and therefore they show everything as it happens, and then there is the ones where the characters and story is more important and you don't find out how the heist actually happened until the end. Flawless falls in the latter category and it was all the more enjoyable because of it. It was actually pretty surprising since I didn't expect any big twist or anything - I thought it would be pretty straightforward, but it wasn't at all and I had a great time watching it.

Michael Caine is a phenomenal actor and he was the deciding factor for me to pick up this movie. He also stays consistently good as he ages which is not always the case. He really brought out the multi-faceted aspect of the character Hobbs (why drop the "e"? So close to being an amazing name) and he masterfully played the transition from frail, simple, and overly nice to a more intelligent, vengeful, 'do-what-it-takes' type character.

Demi Moore hasn't been in much lately and I wasn't that excited to see her return since I was never a huge fan of her work. With that in mind, I did not mind her in this film, she was not amazing but definetly enjoyable and I think she did a great job at personifying the women of that time - plus the hairstyle really suited her.

The story was this films greatest strength, which was not at all evident during the first half of the film. It was interesting from the start but it seemed like just your average heist film. That all changed when the big twist happened about an hour in. It was not some crazy intricate explanation for something seemingly impossible like many film 'twists' tend to be like. It was instead just plain surprising - I did not at all see it coming and when it happened my entire perspective on the film was thrown upside down.

The direction and cinematography was nothing spectacular but worked well enough for the film, and the rest of the cast was interesting and well placed. I definetly enjoyed watching this movie, especially once the twist was thrown in, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes an interesting and very much unconventional heist film which is more about the characters. Not to mention anyone who loves a good plot twist like me.

O filme "Rain Man" [1988] será adaptado para o teatro, com a participação do ator Josh Hartnett [foto]. A peça será encenada em Londres, no final de agosto, segundo a revista norte-americana "Variety".

Hartnett vai fazer o papel que, no filme original, era interpretado por Tom Cruise e terá ao seu lado Adam Godley no papel do autista Charlie Babbitt, que nos cinemas rendeu um Oscar de melhor ator para Dustin Hoffman.

O filme, dirigido por Barry Levinson, recebeu mais três prêmios da academia: melhor filme, melhor diretor e melhor roteiro original.

Protagonista do filme "Dália Negra" (2006), Hartnett atualmente está trabalhando nas gravações de "Bunraku", novo filme do diretor Guy Moshe com lançamento previsto para 2009. Na produção, Hartnett atua ao lado de Demi Moore.

Ghost (1990), de Jerry Zucker, foi eleito o filme com a melhor cena de beijo de todos os tempos em uma pesquisa realizada pela empresa britânica Denplan.

A eleição foi feita em comemoração ao Dia do Beijo no Reino Unido, que será no domingo, 6 de julho. A pesquisa perguntou qual cena do cinema vinha à cabeça quando se pensava em beijo.

O longa-metragem sobre o amor sobrenatural de Patrick Swayze e Demi Moore foi o mais lembrado pelos britânicos. Em segundo lugar aparece a cena clássica de "beijo espaguete" da animação A Dama e o Vagabundo (1995).

Según el diario Daily Mirror los actores Demi Moore y Ashton Kutcher empezaron los trámites para la adopción de un niño.

Y no lo están haciendo en Estados Unidos, y sí en China, donde por televisión asistieron un documental sobre los problemas de adopción de niños mayores de 3 años de edad.

En un viaje reciente de la pareja a Inglaterra, ellos buscaron información a través de una agencia internacional que intermedia adopciones en China, así que muy pronto ese matrimonio podría dar la noticia de que tendrán un hijo juntos.

Dicen que Demi ha estado intentando embarazarse desde hace dos años cuando ellos se casaron, sin embargo los tratamientos no beneficiaron a la a actriz todavía.

Seriously, do you?  I'm in LA looking for a roommate/apartment for rent.  Currently pirating a computer from the university I don't yet attend.  The review for tonight will be a little late since I'm running around like an idiot.  I saw Flawless with Demi Moore and Michael Caine last night and have some pleasent things to report.  For now wish me luck, I hear In-and-Out Burger calling me.

In other news, the fashion world has experienced a loss over the weekend with the death of Kazakhstan-born Ruslana Korshunova. Her death took place nine stories below her apartment in New York's financial district, where she took an unfortunate dive from her balcony into the concrete pavement. According to The Guardian, she had just returned from a modeling trip to Paris. Even closer to the time of her death, her former boyfriend, Artem Perchenok, dropped Korshunova off at her apartment after watching the Demi Moore film Ghost together. Whether this incident was a suicide or not is still unknown, though suspicion over her soul-searching difficulties lies in the messages she leaves behind in social networking sites. The Telegraph reports of one message she left three months ago: "I'm so lost. Will I ever find myself?"

This event reflects a similar incident back in Feburary, when the body of Katoucha Niane was found along the Seine near Paris. This was reported to result form an apparent suicide. According to the Telegraph, she was a former supermodel muse of Yves Saint Laurent. Although the women in these two deaths hail a similar background with the prestigious fashion industry, observers caution those to not focus too much attention at the business aspect, but instead, look into the personal drive of the two deaths.

Korshunova was hosted by IMG, who also houses Kate Moss and Heidi Klum under its roof. With her earnings of $5,000 per catwalk show, Korshunova had been sending her money to her family back in Kazakhstan. She was known for her campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Christine Dior. Vogue described her as "the next big thing" back in 2005.
