I love rock stars. I love rock music. I don't like Amy so much, as a person or as a singer. Her voice may sound good, but she's just too dirty, in the very first degree of it, always looking like she slept in some trash can. PLus the girl is kinda really pathetic. I mean she's in the top ten of british favorite people. I actually like Pete Doherty for absolutely no understandable reason or so. I should at least like this girl, or defend her. Am i such a male chauvinist than i can like it for a boy to go boozing & wasted & i can't find the same excuses for a girl, just because she's a girl? But anyway i'm not here to talk shit about her. In fact i don't care enough about her to be nasty (this is always what i'm telling myself when i feel like talking shit about someone). I red on Perezhilton.com that her husband, the most wasted asshole ever, is writing love letters to a woman who is jailed in the same prison than him. Here's the story :

"According to the paper, Incarcerated soon started talking about bondage and violent heroin-fuelled orgies in letters to his prison pen pal. He reportedly imagines his first night with Melissa as 'free people' — romping in a restaurant toilet:

“I squeeze your throat whilst your s****** me and I ask you if your a dirty b***h.” He then described a deeply disturbing sex fantasy before signing off: “At most we’ve got to wait ten weeks for the best snog of our lives!! Miss you Lissy, love and rockets, your Blakey x x x.”

the thing here is not the situation, nor the characters involved, nor even the extremely questionable wild sex at stake,but just that letters thing. I realized this is just what I'm missing right now in my love life. Where has all the passion, all the romance, all the inventivity gone? It's not about the money, it's not about remembering birthdays & valentine's or whatever's day, it's just about being passionate enough to express it in your own way. I realized no one, nothing turns me on right now. There was this guy, omg this is just not a random guy, M., he was my one & only love of my entire life, now he's married & the father of a babygirl, he was a dirty son of a bitch but damn how i loved him, & I never got to understand why I specifically loved this damn one & no other. Now that time has gone by & I'm more mature & clever, i kind of get the beginning of an answer. The guy made me dream. I was crazy about him, his hands, his voice, his laughter. We were both poor at that time, like he didn't have enough money to eat every day, but in his arms i felt i was worth more a million bugs. He had a thing for turning silly every day things into tiny miracles. When i got home from work he would turn the tv off & ask me to tell him everything about my day. On summer nights we would go walking randomly errands in streets & mark our names on benches. And when i felt bad he would move the living room furnitures & make me dance on"more than a woman", that crazy bee gees song.  And those letters. He wrote me so beautiful things. He had been a real asshole with me, cheating & sdisrecpting me & stuff, but still, our relationship was full of passion. And now I know that passion is what i desperately need right now.

So ok, this blake guy must be the creapiest guy ever, & his letter is poor & very rude, but still I wish someone would desire me enough to write this to me.

- le vrai luxe pour moi dans la vie est - curieusement - ce qui aussi est infini dans notre univers, à savoir le temps & l'espace (tout le reste n'étant que secondaire). c'est rudement bien fichu la nature. Où a-t-elle compris mieux que nous ce qui est essentiel à la vie?

- dans l'expression "par monts et par vaux", vaux est le pluriel de val. & je l'ignorais totalement.

- les gens intelligents peuvent se montrer stupides. Jamais l'inverse.

- ma passion pour les talons a-t-elle un caractère social, sociétal, sexuel, dominatif ou palliatif? (palliatif à mes défauts physiques hein je m'entends). Le caractère compulsif & quasi frénétique des achats est-il à mettre en lien avec la nature de l'achat lui-même?

- les comiques féminines sont beaucoup moins méchantes que les comiques masculins. Et souvent plus drôles. Plus attachantes, plus touchantes même. Pour l'homme le rire serait une arme offensive, relever & moquer les traits de l'autre serait un moyen de mieux le rabaisser pour le dominer (ou se sentir moins minable), pour la femme plutot un acte collégial, car noter les détails est un acte purement féminin (cf les tailles de découpage du monde par les individus, si vs avez fait de la PNL vous comprendrez), donc relever des traits chez l'autre, même pour les moquer, n'est pas vraiment méchant.

Seriously, when was the last time you watched a reality show in which women talked about the validity of their metaphors?

I love this show like a person and I would by any album that Miss Cherry, Rece Steele, Byata, Nikki-2-States, and Lady Twist put out. For reals ya'll.

Alors en vrac depuis Dimanche matin j'ai :

- commandé 3 paires de chaussures en moins de 5 mns sur ebay dont mes Pigalle en python. montant du butin, quasi mon salaire mensuel (financé avec d'autres moyens que mon salaire mensuel, faut pas déconner non plus)

- mélangé mes médicaments contre l'allergie avec du lexomil, chose à visiblement ne pas faire vu que j'ai passé mon aprem à dormir

- réveillée à 19 h dans le paté total je suis partie manger de la paella avec mes collègues dans un repas à la con où j'ai découvert aussi que les médicaments pré cités ne se mélangent pas super bien avec le whisky non plus. You live & you learn.

- je me suis réconciliée avec Loulou. no comment

- trouvé le jean idéam chez Bershka, à savoir une sorte de baggy qui finit en slim, que je porte retroussé, & qui est devenu offciellement le jean de maintenant que je vais porter tout le temps. 

- acheté une 4è paire de chaussures (en moins de 12hs donc) chez Zara, pour aller avec le jean susnommé.

-décidé de m'acheter un bouledogue à la rentrée. ou  de partir à Paris. Ce sera l'un ou l'autre.

- décidé de m'aimer un peu plus. Parce que personne ne peut le faire à ma place.

Say what you will about EgoTrip/VH1's Ms. Rap Supreme... Too much like a game show? Less Serch, Much More YoYo? Not REAL enough for ya?

Well guess what, bitches? Get on your Hip Hop herstory while you're shutting the fuck up. EgoTrip™ is a brand decades-old in the grand tradition of that old boom-bap...all about the braggadocio with a healthy serving of tongue-in-cheek, double-entendre laden hilarity to cut the rawness of the uncut real.

As much as I love my QB family, Hip Hop was conceived, born AND raised in Pelan, b.k.a. the Boogie-Down Bronx. Some of the first B-Girls were from the BX, and definitely the original Femcees. Rece Steele is carrying on a tradition, literally, the daughter of a female MC.

As far as her cursing too much, that's like 'Nas to Nigga to Nigger' - taking it back and embracing it beats letting it break your back and erasing ya.

Byata does HER thing, but there's something to be said for not letting the Russian girl win just because she's white.

And let's keep it real, Rece Steele won with her skill with the mic steel. She didn't have to kneel, or suck, to get a deal. She's a big-body girl just like me. So that means a young Queen who saw her win on TV can follow her dream even though she's a size 18. Nahmean?

p.s. If her A&R is on point we'll get a Rece Steele/C-Rayz Walz collabo.

n.b. If you know anything about my decade-plus documenting women in Hip Hop culture, you know like I know Rece is no Jean Grae nor Invincible nor Mystic...but she was willing to expose herself to the joys of 'celebreality'. It's what she does with her newfound celebrity that will define her caliber as an MC.

Marilyn used to say she didn't know who invented high heels, but that it was a hell of a good idea. Pas mieux!

Il n'était pas là, par contre ...

All things must come to an end. If you read my initial post on Miss Rap Supreme and my evaluation of the contestants, then you know I am Nostradamus when it comes to making predictions.

What I said in April:
WHAT… THE…FUCK. That look needs to go. However, I am going to go with Rece as my dark horse and pick her to win the Miss Rap Supreme championship. She has a style that will appeal to Yo Yo and Serch. Based on her Myspace music, she seems to be the best of the contestants at crafting a song.

I was pleased with the outcome of MRS and feel that the best contestant won. Cough, Rece Steele, cough. We all knew that it wasn't going to be Ms. Cherry.

The show began with the ladies being told they were going to have to battle to determine the final two. Immediately, Ms. Cherry and Byata began to panic, because that is not their style. Ms. Cherry actually asked for any alternative spellings and the language of origin. They brought Dr. Roxanne Shante out, who told the ladies to give up rap and go to school. Nahh, she stated that there are no friends in battling, a lesson which Rece Steele would take to heart.

Ms. Cherry led off the diss challenge rapping in that accent which continues to irk me to no end. Her flow was choppy and disjointed. She didn't really drop any original punchlines, and faltered when she tried to go at Rece Steele's mother. Yawn

Byata went second and looked like she was battling her mother. She had a cheesy ass grin on her face and dropped lackluster rhymes. Byata can't battle. I imagine you gathered that from her hippy attire. She did sound more fluid than Ms. Cherry.

Rece Steele went last and stepped up the mic angry as hell. That mother line musta upset her because she tore Byata and Ms. Cherry down. She even made a reference to Ms. Cherry's ug mug! Now that is what I am talking about. Her ferocity and intensity was so beyond her competitors it wasn't even funny.

Serch and Yo-Yo met and decided that Ms. Cherry was the weakest of the three and she was required to give up her sash. Next up, was Will.I.Am, who MC Serch had a billion nice things to say. A legend in hip-hop? To make reference to Serch's new favorite word- Really? Really, Serch? I thought he was pop, forgive me. Will.I.Am had a seat next to the ladies and I thought Hurricane Katrina's cousin was going to pop off because that dude was floodin' like a motherfucker. The exchange between Will and the ladies basically involved him asking them to spit, them spitting, and Will looking dazed and saying "wow" and other unintelligible responses. Fascinating. Rece kicked a straight up rhyme while Byata delivered a more hook focused melodic rhyme, knowing a pop artist would respond better to it.

We didn't get any footage of the ladies constructing their final 16 and song for the final challenge while it cut straight to the dressing room of the final performance. The ladies had to share the same dressing room! What kinda bs is that? Ego Trip is on some old price cutting tactics crap! It would have been much better if the ladies would have been separate dressing rooms and we could have heard some straight up trash talk, heard some more. All we got was them rehearsing over each other. Oh, and Yo-Yo telling them it was a historical moment for women in hip-hop. Was Shamrock winning the WRS a historic moment for white rappers?

Serch arrived in the building and introduced the judges- Mona Scott and Missy Elliott. What, no Dante Ross? Initially, I believed that Rece Steele was royally screwed. Missy Elliott is not similar to Rece in any way whatsoever and is not a real lyrical type chick. She is a pop artist, like Byata. The ladies were required to begin by spitting a 16, in which I felt Rece stepped her game up a little by showing more stage presence and delivering better lines. Byata continued to do Byata. She isn't awful, but she doesn't give you anything you will ever remember or quote.

Byata led off the song performance with a little number about her struggles growing up and breaking into the rap game. She rapped for several minutes about people not wanting to hear her, getting booed off stages, and hated on. Yet, she kept going! Someone just can't take a hint. Byata is def the last person you want on your crib right before dinner is being served and you need her to bounce. Byata's hook was ehhh, not mind blowing but her crowd participation was decent. Not that she got much back in return.

Rece stepped up and destroyed it. She didn't rap like she was scared to look at the crowd, she actually gave a pretty dope performance. She destroyed Byata in the lyrical department, created a song that the crowd enjoyed listening to more, and pleased the judges. Despite some of the judges stating that Rece needed to conquer her fear and anger, they gave her the 100G prize and the title of Miss Rap Supreme. What will Ego Trip do next? Best hip-hop group? Asian Rapper Show? Elderly Rapper Show? I believe I shall tune in.

Hier soir je suis allée voir Sex and the City avec les petits. Ils détestent que je les appelle comme ça. POurtant je ne trouve aucun meilleur terme pour parler d'eux, pour définir ce que je ressens vraiment face à aux. Les petits ce sont avant tout mes collègues de taf, mais pas que. Car tellement plus. Et c'est précisément ce que m'a aidé à découvrir ce film. Qui m'a beaucoup plu, soit dit en passant. Là, dans la pénombre de la salle remplie de gadjies hystériques, alors qu'on profitait des bandes annonces pour distribuer le pique nique (c'est là que j'ai réalisé aussi l'ampleur de l'emprise qu'à notre boulot d'animateur de gosses sur nous, on se déplace en bandes, toujours hyper organisés, on amène toujours bouffe- boisson - cachetons, manque plus que des fringues de rechange & les fiches sanitaires & on y est) à  base de chips, de croques fait maisons hmmm par A2, de marshmallows et de sodas, j'ai pris conscience del'importance de mon taf dans ma vie, & surtout de ces ptits (ben oui je suis la doyenne du groupe), & aussi comment j'ai trop longtemps donné de l'importance dans ma vie à des gens qui m'ont fait tant de mal & qui m'ont tant déçu, alors que depuis 10 ans j'ai la chance d'aller chaque jour dans un endroit où je suis reconnue, où j'ai une vraie place, une vraie utilité (oui hier mon patron m'a dit qu'en plus d'etre compétente j'étais très mimi, & ça m'a fait plaisir, même si je crains qu'il veuille me niquer quand même), où même si j'ai envie d'en tuer certains parfois, ben oui c'est pas une communauté hippie non plus, j'y ai trouvé des personnes sur qui je peux compter, que je peux appeler à toute heure du jour & de la nuit pour m'aider, & moi comme une putain de conne snob que je suis j'ai passé des années à chercher ce que j'avais sous mon nez, à me croire seule, alors que j'avais une putain de famille autour de moi.  Et quand pequeno m'a glissé à l'oreille pendant le film " c'est tellement toi Carrie..." pour ajouter " & si Loulou t'épouse pas rapidement je lui pète les genoux", j'en aurai presque chialé tiens.  Et quand à un moment ils sont tous rassemblés pour bruncher, pequeno a lancé "vous croyez qu'on sera comme ça nous, quand on aura des gosses?", j'ai réalisé que j'étais pas la seule à penser qu'on était bien ensemble. Comme dans Les Jolies Choses, de Virginie Despentes, quand la jumelle explique comment elle devient copine avec Nicolas, "on est devenus copains, presque comme ça, à force de se voir souvent et d'en avoir souvent envie". Alors en rentrant en courant sous la pluie en short avec mes Dior Extreme aux pieds (oui j'ai acheté les vraies finalement, & je suis pas déçue elles sont fantastiques, et j'avoue les avoir aux pieds pendant que sur l'écran Carrie avait les mêmes c'était cool. Puéril, mais cool. Pareil pour le sac Burberry ou la pochette Vuitton que j'ai aussi. Complètement puéril, mais complètement cool), je me suis dit que j'étais heureuse. Violemment heureuse. Et que ça faisait putain de longtemps.

That isn't to say their isn't any talented female emcee's, but when you put forth emcee's in general that aren't interested in perfecting their craft, who are just in it for the limelight or whatever reason, this is what happens, it becomes a beauty show (see video above)... Maybe it's me that is taking the whole premise of the show as a joke, and I'm the one that's trippin', but I doubt it.

Blaine: Welcome to a special edition of Men On Film. Today we will be reviewing the show Miss Rap Supreme.

A: Oooo, the green eyed bandit! I always heard that..

B: Let's review the show!

A: We started the show with 4 contestants remaining. We had Byata, Chiba, Ms. Cherry, and Rece Steele. The episode began with Byata crying to her Russian daddy.

B: Her Russian daddy looked strong.

A: Later we see that Chiba is feeling down in the dumps because the ladies of the house have made her an outsider. I know what that feels like.

B: Look at her tattoos.

A: Next, the big but not so muscular MC Serch took the ladies to a gun range to let out some rage.

B: I must say I was very disappointed in this segment. Rather than see the elderly Serch bust off some rounds we get to see some girls miss a target worrying about being out on bond.

A: Blaine, the ladies were taking out low self esteem, misogyny and haters.

B: That little Asian gun man was cute. He looked like the cashier who got killed in that raw movie about male rage, Menace II Society.

A: The little Russian hipster rapper won the gun challenge. Later she bonded with the gangsta rapper WC and Crazy Tunes.

B: When I see WC there is more than West UP!

A: I've been following WC since Low Profile. That little Russian girls knows nothing about it.

B: I was scared when Chiba began talking to her 23 year old daughter.

A: Isn't Chiba 28? That moment when she revealed her eye that wouldn't close moved me.

B: Next, the ladies had to write a rhyme about peace.

A: And rap to some young girls of LA who were victims of gang violence.

B: The challenge found Byata, Ms. Cherry and Rece Steele choking and forgetting their rhymes.

A: Rece Steele has such a hard name but she looks so soft. Sorta like she would walk in my kitchen and start cookin' me a big breakfast. Chiba won the challenge and moved the crowd.

B: And didn't get to enjoy it. Byata and those hateful women tried to accuse Chiba of kicking written rhymes.

A: Rece Steele got so worked up! That is the sort of energy I like to see in my male MC's. Swinging her 1980 gold earrings around.

B: Honey, get me a pair!

A: Soon, our little Russian princess began crying foul and was ready to quit!

B: That Ms. Cherry stated you don't have to perform nowadays. Girl, you better work it. I got one word for you, baby!

Blaine& Antoine: Downloads!

B: The elimination room found the ladies in a tight room filled with tension as they wrote 16's about the word bitch.

A: Hated it!

B: I'm with you. Rece Steele delivered her rhyme like a Korean with autism. I didn't see her eyes through the whole rhyme.

A: Ms. Cherry impressed the judges but her accent made me wince.

B: Byata stumbled but made grabbed Serch's attention by aiming her rhyme at Chiba.

A: And Chiba kicked a nonsense rhyme about killing some man who called her a bitch.

B: That's less for us! Chiba got eliminated for her lackluster rhymes as the rest of the ladies embraced

After everyone sobered up you had some more Byata and Chiba bickering. This is really starting to get just a tad old. I get it. They don't like each other. Ughhhh. The ladies were called out to a talent contest, which believe it or not was amusing. Not in that way. Rece danced, Nikki failed to hula hoop (as much as she shakes her ass?), Chiba jumped rope, Ms. Cherry did a busted ass cartwheel, and Byata kick boxed. I would say don't quit your day job ladies, but part of me wonders if they have one.

After the no talent show, they were split into teams with Nikki and Rece landing on one while Chiba, Byata and Ms. Cherry made up the other. Byata's looked like someone pissed in her cereal when she realized Chiba was on her team. Great, more bickering. The ladies were given Just Blaze beats and asked to write hit pop/rap crossover records. Serch made a Salt N Pepa and Eve reference. Just a little time in between those songs. Byata made a reference that being a white girl made it easier for her to make a pop song. Huh?

The ladies got into the studios with Just Blaze who was wearing a shirt that said "Tax Write Off". Those beats constitute his charitable donations for the year. You and I donate to 3rd world countries or Toys for Tots, Just Blaze donates to Miss Rap Supreme. It's all good, they need it.  The rest of the studio time was spent with Byata and Cherry arguing with the lyric content from Chiba, because they instructions stated that it had to be clean. Serch, have you listened to the radio in the last 5 years? Not even the  pop hits are clean anymore. Every song has a reference to something sexual or violent. This is not the 80's, guys. Rece's team struggled with melody as Nikki had a hard time delivering the hook with the amount of time given.

The ladies then took their finished product to the radio and jumped around like crazy in the studio as their songs played. The majority of the comments were positive, despite one listener who declared the track as garbage. Hell, they even said it with different accents. While listening to the tracks, I felt Byata's team had an edge because the track was more of a club banger. Rece's song sounded more complete despite the hook not really being on point. After all was said and done, Serch and Yo-Yo picked Byata's team as the winner. Yo-Yo couldn't remember the hook for Rece's song. Funny, because can anyone remember a hook from a Yo-Yo song? Not hatin', just sayin'.

When elimination time came..... (hold on, Serch's goatee is distracting as hell! get some Just For Men ASAP)

Ok... the ladies were asked to write about their fathers. Beautiful! Let us give them another opportunity to tell us how their daddies ditched their mothers and left them broke. Men are bastards. Rece delivered her verse with a lot of passion, but she didn't really make much eye contact. I was worried she was going to have a seizure. Someone also needs to get her on that What Not To Wear show immediately.  Nikki2States pretty much did a spoken word, and didn't rap her verse. I was wondering when she would start rapping instead of talking like she was giving a lecture. This laid back approach led to her being eliminated. Get home to yo kids, fool!

Chez nous, les filles, je me permets de parler au pluriel parce que je pense que ce que je m'apprete à dire est commun quand même à un certain nombre de membres de la gent féminine, mais bon je devrais dire je, allez je me mouille chez moi donc, il y a quelques habitudes vestimentaires qui sont en fait de véritables obsessions, et qui sont en fait les bases de ce je ne savais pas encore que c'était tout simplement mon style, et je ne m'en suis rendu compte que très récemment. Dans la naiveté fébrile de ma jeunesse enthousiaste jalonnée d'absolument aucun interdit vestimentaire (ce qui m'a permis de passer allègrement par de nombreuses phases stylistiques aussi nombreuses que souvent pas terrible - oui je portais des pattes d'eph, du fluo et des Buffalo dans ma période Bumping espagnol, mais aussi des jupes ras le sourire ou des baggies selon les moments, la liberté totale je vous dis), je me suis toujours dit qu'en matière de mode tout était permis à tout le monde, du moment que c'était fait dans la kiffance de la life et un esprit non-seulement-j'assume-ce-que_je-porte-mais-en-plus-je-t'emmerde. Oui mais voilà en fait oui mais finalement non. Je m'explique. Ayant toujours apprécié mon étance féminine malgré tous les désagréments que comporte cette situation, tout simplement parce que je ne pourrais pas envisager de ne pas porter de talons, j'ai toujours apprécié dans la mode le jeu, la création, le mélange des genres, des matières... Pour finalement me rendre compte récemment, malgré l'ampleur indécente de mon dressing (mot pompeux pour désigner mes fringues, entassées tant bien que mal dans mon 40 m2), que je porte quasiment toujours les mêmes sapes, toujours les mêmes coupes, si bien que s'acheter de nouvelles fringues qui me plaisent vraiment constitue à en fait acheter des trucs que j'ai déjà (ok, sauf les pompes, les pompes c'est merveilleux, c'est jouissif, c'est jamais pareil ah quel bonheur les chaussures). Oui j'ai attendu 28 ans pour me rendre compte de ce que j'aime vraiment en matière de mode. Oh ça va y a pire quand même. Mais tout ça nous amène à la photo de la charmante jeune fille en intro (blog style&thecity.com) qui cumule avec perfection tous les codes que je surkiffe, qui ne sont pas du goût de tout le monde certes, mais pour moi c'est trop la teuf, à savoir le cuir, les jupes longues, les bijoux ethnico-bling bling et les grosses lunettes. Ah oui et le léopard. Que j'assume totalement. (un jour je vous montrerai ma robe léopard fétiche, achetée 12 e chez Quelle - oui c'est un autre de mes crédos modesques tout endroit possédant des fringues sur un portant mérite le respect, car s'il n'intéresse pas certaines il peut contenir le bonheur d'une autre - oh tiens c'est comme les garçons). Bon bref ce que je voulais dire en substance c'est que l'incroyable découverte de MON style (et oui je me la pète maintenant) m'a amenée à admettre que certaines pièces me sont indispensables, bon p't'etre pas mais en tout cas qu'elles font partie des piliers de mes sapes et que donc elles valent le coup d'être dénichées. Grâce à Fonelle, dont je lis le blog religieusement tous les jours, cet hiver j'avais trouvé  le cuir de mes rêves, chez Bershka (où je n'allais jamais et donc maintenant j'y vais un peu quand même), tout doux, avec de la moumoute au col (un autre de mes tocs la fourrure), pour pas cher quand même (129e c'est pas trop la ruine), d'autant qu'après un hiver entier passé sur mes frêles épaules il est toujours nickel, mais là, il va falloir que je le lâche parce que bon ça se réchauffe, petit à petit certes mais ça se réchauffe, j'ai déjà tombé les collants, et donc se pose l'immense question de son remplacement. Cette charmante demoiselle, toujours elle, m'offre une solution parfaite, à savoir le perfecto manches 3/4, mais cette coquine ne nous dit pas où, donc j'ai cherché dans mon temple de débauche financière absolu, j'ai nommé ebay, et je pense avoir trouvé (réponse demain avec le fin des enchères!) :

c'est un pti modèle pondu par la mère Moss pour Topshop l'hiver dernier, et c'est pile ce que je cherche je pense, d'autant que c'est le seul que j'ai trouvé, même chez Topshop ils en ont plus sur leur site en ligne. J'en aurai bien aimé un autre d'une autre couleur, genre fauve ou crème, mais bon. A chaque jour suffit sa peine. Pour en finir avec ce post déjà bien trop long, voici mes dernières petites emplettes british (chez Topshop, toujours, c'est ma période)

 ce dernier pti top perlé est de la nouvelle collec' kate moss pour topshop, j'étais pas chaude chaude au début, mais bon les tops en soie ont été validés comme faisant partie des trucs qui sont mon style. Tout comme les nouveaux neutres à savoir l'or & l'argent. Donc ça fait double validation. Elle est vraiment super forte cette Kate.

This week's episode began with everyone in the house ready to burn Chiba at the stake. The ladies were still upset about Lady Twist being kicked off the show, and felt that Serch and Yo-Yo made a poor decision. It is called ratings, ladies. Ratings! Chiba fought back by telling the house Byata has been throwing darts around behind their back. Either Chiba is being brutally honest or she is totally insane. I am going to lean towards head case. Wearing those sunglasses 24/7 has probably done something to her brain.

They didn't waste much time setting up the episode as they were split into teams and told they would have to make a music video. Do people still watch music videos anymore? Do people watch videos from female rappers? Thought so.  The teams were split up with Byata, Rece Steele, and Nikki2States making one team while Bree, Ms Cherry, and Chiba made the other.

Ms. Cherry immediately threw a fit as she recognized that her team sucked cock. Big time, yo. However, instead of really contributing anything she acted like a brat and seemed to slow the group's process down. Shit, they only had 3 hours to make a song and 3 hours to make a video. Tight schedule. Ego Trip killed it on the captions this week, btw. Nikki's team had a def advantage as they got first pick on items and grabbed the yacht. This left Ms. Cherry's team with a lame setup and put them in a bad position.

Byata began to worry and complain to the camera that Nikki wasn't professional. Oh Byata, what could have possibly given you that impression? Could it be the fact that she is shaking her ass around at any given moment and all her rhymes focus on various parts of her body. Byata's predictions proved right as Nikki shook her ass all around the yacht and rubbed her crotch against anything that wasn't bolted down.  The group's concept was that they were pirates and were robbing the nerdy white boys. Their theme of being corny did not match well with sexy. Came off lookin' like straight doo doo. The title of their video was called "Boss Chicks". As if corny visuals were not enough, they had to add a straight garbage title. Ughhhh. The name of their yacht is def not hope.

Ms. Cherry's team had a video that was crisper visually and focused on Ms. Cherry, which was a decent idea.  Not sure you want Bree to be the focus on your video considering the fact she resembles a 13 year old boy. Their video name, "Paper Chase" was also outdated and lame. I think it would have been cool if Chiba took of her glasses and they sorta added a horror element to it, but no dice. Chiba and Bree robbed Ms. Cherry in the video and left her with nothing. How fitting.

Serch and Yo-Yo ended up going with Nikki2States team because they felt it was more of a group effort. Personally,  I thought they lost.  I know it is like choosing between Spam and leftover bologna, but  damn. Nikki seemed to think the same thing and offered her prize of the Salt N Pepa suite to Ms. Cherry who respectfully declined. Nikki2States walked into a fake setup of paparazzi and fans. Her world will be crushed when she goes home to her 4 kids and crappy diapers.

At the elimination challenge, the ladies had to write rhymes about glamor. Bree wrote about dressing up like a boy when she was growing up and how Boys Don't Cry is her favorite movie. I keed, I keed. Chiba rapped about stalkers and said something about jerking off, Ms. Cherry said the same shit she said for the previous 4 episodes. If I have to hear her talk about being a beast one more time in that fucking retarded ass accent I think I may bust my eardrums on purpose. Bree finished off with another Lifetime movie rap but stumbled towards the end. Perhaps it has something to do with her flow being choppy as hell. The show ends with Serch explaining he knows Bree loves hip-hop, but that she has no future in it and should stick to boxing.

In review, on the last episode of ego trip’s Miss Rap Supreme, Lady Twist was eliminated for whatever fucked up reason (my pet theory is that it is to prolong the drama between Byata and Chiba, who should have been fucking eliminated).

This week, the teams (Nicky2States, Rece Steele, and Byata [captain] vs. Chiba, Bree, and Miss Cherry [captain]) created music videos, just like they did on the cracker rapper show last year, except this year they are going with a sea theme instead of the summertime theme from last year.

As with last year’s video challenge, the teams took turns picking from 4 sets of props – sets, costumes, makeup, and extras. This year, the sets were either a yacht or a dinky little boat with a shitty ocean backdrop, the costumes were either pirate Halloween costumes or Titanic-style gowns and fancy shit, the makeup was either a professional stylist or some shitty hobo makeup, and the extras were either some ripped black dudes in wifebeaters or some nerdy crackers in Hawaiian shirts.

Miss Cherry’s team, which was fucked to begin with for having Chiba and Bree on the team, got off to a bad start because Miss Cherry was being a selfish, arrogant bitch and Bree and Chiba were being their usual untalented selves. On Byata’s team, Nicky2States was being the equivalent of Miss Cherry, just being a generally bossy bitch. But a sex-crazed one. So it’s cool.

Cherry’s team did a sweet video where Cherry is a chick that’s got it made until Bree and Chiba come and jack her for her shit. The song turned out nice.

Byata’s team did a Big Pimpin’-style video where Byata pushes a guy overboard and Nicky2States gave one of their nerdy cracker sailors a lap dance. Nicky stole the show and even won the Salt N Pepa suite (a special room in the Fembassy where one stellar contestant gets to spend the night). She tried to give it to Miss Cherry (she thought her team did the better video), but Cherry gave it right back.

Byata’s team won.

The elimination rap topic was describing glamour as you see it in story form.

Actually, none of the femcees did storytelling, but whatever. Miss Cherry did a relatively bad job, with her shitty flow ruining even moreso her boring verse. Chiba almost sort of brought it. I mean, she did a bad job, but it was easily her best verse yet on the show. Bree had a hot line (“[You say you’re a player, but] The only thing you layin’ with is your pillow”) and the best verse of the night.

As I write this now, I have the feeling that Cherry is going home, just from Serch and YoYo’s post-rap discussion. She did have the worst rap, but I definitely want Chiba gone, just as everyone in the house does at this point.

Well, the verdict is that Bree is gone. And just where the last episode left off, Serch eliminated the person with the best verse.

Sorry for the tardiness of this installment of my ongoing coverage of the cracker rapper follow-up show "Miss Rap Supreme."

In review, it's not a very good show and both Serch and Yo-Yo can't seem to tell talented rappers from, well, just about everyone on the show.

In the first three episodes, Lionezz and D.A.B. (Down Ass Bitch) were elimanted (Lionezz was kicked out twice, actually) and Khia was disqualified for being a no-talent bitch with fucked up-looking teeth.

In episode four, the remaining girls split up into two teams and had a dance-off, complete with breakdancing, ass shaking, and garbage rapping.

Ms. Cherry did a fairly good verse and Nicky2States' dirty dance was pretty great, but everyone else did a pretty bad job. Lady Twist stood out as a problem because she was, well, too fat to dance, despite being the best rapper on the show.

Twist's team lost the challenge - and they should have; any team taking orders from Chiba is going to suck - and went to elimination, where their rapping made me once again consider not watching this show anymore.

Chiba did the worst of all the contestants up for elimation, but Bree (pictured above with the rest of her losing team) was annoying, too. Twist did the best job, with Ms. Cherry spewing her standard arhythmic mess.

However, Twist (the only contestant I almost enjoy) was the one eliminated!

Since she is just about the only ounce talent on this entire show (except for Serch, obviously), the reason for kicking her off was obviously a combination of her bad dancing (she's like 300 pounds, guys, of course she can't dance!) and because Serch knew that if they eliminated Chiba, then the retarded beef between her and Byata would stop, and he had realized by that point that the contestants' talent alone wasn't going to keep the show on the charts.

The remaining contestants are Rece Steele, Nicky2States, Byata, Miss Cherry, Bree, and Chiba.

Byata should win, but - like the (White) Rapper Show - the best rapper (left) probably won't win.

Having been a moderately big fan of the white exploitation rap show “ego trip’s (White) Rapper Show,” I was moderately excited for the sequel (sequel, not second season - you can only make fun of us white people for so long). Obviously this sequel was going to be no good at all. I mean, the first show was just a bunch of white racial jokes featuring a contestant sideshow with no real talent outside of Sullee (I think that was his name), and even he wasn’t that good.

Also, women rappers suck. The obvious exceptions are Lauryn Hill and Lady of Rage and maybe one or two others, but they pretty much suck. The reason could be that they can’t seem to come up with anything except acting like men or rapping about their periods or about giving guys blowjobs. And the ladies on this show are no exception.

The first episode has the ridiculously talented lyricist MC Serch and the shitty woman rapper Yo-Yo acting as judges for a lineup of shitty rappers who spit shitty 16s that Serch and Yo-Yo pretended were good.

After a few minutes of the stream of unbearable rapping, Serch & Yo-Yo decided on a few contestants - Bree, 23 years old, Byata, 26 years old, Chiba, 28 years old, D.A.B., 23 years old, Khia, 31 years old, Lady Twist, 22 years old, Lionezz, 29 years old, Miss Cherry, 23 years old, Nicky2States, 28 years old, and Rece Steele, 25 years old.

Here’s some quick personality profiles of each of them:

Bree - Bree’s this really, really manly chick that tries to talk in this deep voice, so she sounds someone doing a really bad 2Pac impersonation (she also throws up westside and sort of Crip walks all the time). She’s one of those chick rappers that tries really hard to be manly and ends up looking stupid.

Byata - Byata’s another manly white chick, just like Bree, and she is one of the better rappers on the show.

Chiba - Chiba is this funny-looking chick that has a messed up eye from a car crash (she tries to weasel street credit out of this little injury). She’s the only woman on here that can compete with Khia for title of Queen Bitch Goddess.

D.A.B. - D.A.B. is the kind of dumb ass bitch (DAB, get it?) that would call herself Down Ass Bitch and is always bragging about how she’s an ex-addict, as if that makes her street.

Khia - Khia is a has-been from a few years ago who looks like a man’s head with a woman’s body. She’s the worst rapper in the house, except maybe for D.A.B. She’s also the biggest bitch in the house.

Lady Twist - Twist is this cool fat chick that is the best rapper in the house. But I tend to like fat black chicks that rap, so I might be little biased in my observation.

Lionezz - Lionezz is some talentless clown that looks like a religion teacher I had back in elementary school

Miss Cherry - Cherry’s kind of hot, so I’ve forgiven her morbid rapping.

Nicky2States - Nicky2States is the sort of hot contestant who is the only contestant who can compete with Khia for the title of “Craziest Bitch Ever.”

Rece Steele - Rece is a scary-looking chick that can’t rap for shit, either.

As is the style with these rap shows, the first three episodes consist mostly of the contestants smacking each other with dildos and screaming “Yo, bitch, I’ll fucking, oh shit, bitch, you bitch you gonna get fucked the fuck up, bitch, what, I ain’t no pussy bitch, what!” It’s not entertaining anymore. Sorry.

Also, the wrong people almost always get eliminated - for example, Lionezz was eliminated in the first round instead of Khia, who was obviously much shittier (this was reversed the day after, though, when it was revealed that the rap Khia spit in the elimination round was bitten from an album she did a few years back).

I don’t know why I’m going to keep watching this show, but I am (especially since Ghostface already made his cameo and I don’t really care about the rest of the guests that are going to be popping into the ladies’ house).

It’s not even that entertaining, and, frankly, I’m pretty ashamed of Serch for doing this show.
