The Forest looks like it is the Country Music Room. Maybe the Beach is going to be the Hawaiian/Summer Music Room! You can expect everything. :-D

Also, now your parents can control how much time you spend in Club Penguin with the new update called Egg Timer. Your parents can access this Egg Timer, if they log in to their Club Penguin Parent Account. This feature lets you:

1. set the hours your child can play on Club Penguin
2. decide the daily total of time your child can spend

Another update I discovered in Club Penguin is that, if you are in a room that has music playing in the background and go to another room with or without music, you can hear the music during the time it takes to load the new room! I also noticed that with the new feature, Penguin Mail, you can send postcards to banned penguins and when (if) they get un-banned they will receive them! How cool!!

The Club Penguin Improvement Project (CPIP) is completed, so the CPIP blog will shut down this Wednesday! You can still comment until Wednesday, and they will probably approve all comments!

Now who is Mr Right, everyone and anyone can be that , here I am not talking about Mr Perfect right , I am talking about the person who think s he is always right, this could be anyone or everyone of us, we always think that we are right  and the person in front of us is always wrong or does not have the right thinking to take it right , he is incapable of deciding what could be the right thing, and its only you who knows what the right is, That’s what we think and that is what is stopping us from being more clear and more open to options here and more

Now as we are growing up as an individual and also as an independent individual , with open mind, open thoughts an educated mind and a free soul , we are tend to have problems at home , there are parents whom we think don’t understand us at all, there are people in our family who have different point of view on everything we think. For sure there are going to be differences in our day today activitios as they are growing old and we are still in the basics, they have lived their life and had their own experiences which is by the way , way too ahead of us , that is why having differences is very usual, Now how to cope with it.

1. Understanding :

This is the most vital part of the whole process, understanding the other persons point of view even if we disagree we have to give it a thought , be in the other person’s shoes and try and think the way they are doing it, this is not so difficult , it does take some time and a lots of practise before we start thinking the way they think and we have done that we can always find a way out.

1. Talking:

      Talking things out solves most of the problems with anybody and is the easiest way out, Now talking does not mean proving your point of view and winning the talks, it means finding a solution for whatever you are talking about, Talking is always mistaken for a debate or negotiation, well it is not either of them, talking is talking simple .

1. EGO

Keep your ego away; this spoils the most beautiful of the relationships we might know of. This does not let us speak our heart out, this stops us from crying if we want to. Crying is a vital part of our lives , I cry for every small thing and I am not ashamed to say that, I am not a baby but  crying is just one of the emotions that I am gifted with, why not use it when I want to , makes me feel lighter and better after I do that, I have asked most of my friends when they are in a deep trouble and feel everything has ended to cry and cry till u feel tired of crying, this is called crying therapy, I don’t know about others but this has surely helped most of my friends and it has always been helpful .Remember this Ego stops you from doing it, you feel if you cry in front of that person the other person might think that your are a weak person but crying is a strength and not weakness , very few people have the strength to cry oin front of other people, have you seen the children crying and see how happy they are oin life, its just because we have forgotten how to cry that we are so sad today. So go ahead forget yourself for sometime and cry in the time you think your should. Crying sometimes takes most of the burden away.

1. Surrender :

Well surrender or compromise you can call it either, I took surrender as you see family members are the dear ones and because of the love you have for them and they have for you, its better to surrender sometimes and compromise the other, it does not matter, at least you are not doing it for anyone else you are doing it for yourself and you family , there is not outsider involved. Once you do it you might feel bad as why is it that’s its only you who ahs to do it always. Why YOU? But later part of your life you will realise that you were the lucky one who got the opportunity to do that for your family. You were blessed with the capability to compromise and surrender but still instead of all the difficulties you have lived beyond that. Salute yourself for doing that and give yourself a hug every time and everywhere. This will make you a happier person.

Remember one thing the family member’s who are here today will no longer be there tomorrow and then you will be left all alone in this world to take things the way you want to, there will be no one to question what you are doing and why aren’t you doing things which you don’t want to do, but before that, thank god that they are here and you have loads to talk about.

Between the launch of e prefix numberplates and their release via the DVLA website- some great combinations were auctioned off:

Although the E prefix registrations didn't provide as many great combinations as the F prefix plates promises, it's worth noting the DVLA's tactic in witholding desirable combinations to auction them for a greater price.

Those observant few will notice that the DVLA have witheld the new style number plates with 01 as the age identifier.

It would seem the DVLA have realised the potential value of a great deal of their numberplate combinations as they withold ever increasing numbers of plates which will be sold at a future DVLA auction.

DVLA select number plates are steadily increasing in price- some combinations from the DVLA website cost £2599 - the days of bagging a number plate bargain seem to be behind us...

Finalmente el esperado nuevo disco de Soledad ya está en las bateas de las disquerías. Si, totalmente, sabemos que lo esperaste estos dos años. Folklore es 100% lo que esperaste.

Es su décimo álbum y llega con sus ya 12 años de carrera. Folklore fue grabado en los Estudios ION con la ingeniería a cargo del “portugués” Da Silva. La mezcla la hicieron Natalia Kalwill y Matías Zapata en Panda y la masterización se realizó en Estados Unidos, en los estudios Sterling Sound de New York. La producción y dirección musical estuvieron a cargo de Matías Zapata, quien también participa como músico en algunas de las canciones.

So.  It feels like walking into an empty apartment before even the boxes have arrived and trying to get used to the idea that this is it.

While I wait for the clutter to accumulate and the little finger smudges to stripe the walls about so high, maybe I should introduce us.

We are a family. 

We are Catholic.

We are on the small side physically and the bookish side in general.

I am the mama.

I am thirty-one.

I am an INTP, if that means anything to you.  I guess a good way to put it is that I can handle anything as long as I can read about it for a year or two before I have to.  And as long as it doesn't involve teamwork.

I have asperger's syndrome.  This is almost news.  Until this year I (and everyone else) thought I was just eccentric, jumpy, and not as tactful as I wish I could be.  Oh and stubborn.  And did I mention I can't really deal with teamwork? 

I am not a stereotype.  Just like being a mother does not necessarily mean that I am intimately acquainted with all the workings of booboo kissing, PTA membership, cookie baking, and carpooling, being autistic does not mean I am emotionless, unfriendly, devoid of a sense of humor, a savant, nonverbal, intelligent, unintelligent, cold, or an engineer-type.

I have kissed a booboo or two, but my kids and I all sort of felt like it was ineffective and demeaned our intelligence so mostly I try to see if booboos require medical attention or just maternal attention and then provide the appropriate response.  I cannot deal with PTA membership.  In fact I can't deal well with schools or any sort of organization that requires regular meetings with elections and an expectation of tact  (teamwork, remember?).  I prefer pie but am not a huge baker in general.  Carpooling is something I wish I could do but since I tend to go places with just my own kids, and can't handle unexpected noise or other distractions while driving, it is really not an option. 

I am closest to the verbal aspie stereotype.  So I read constantly and write constantly but don't do well with small talk or sudden changes in conversational topics.  I can talk, but sometimes I can't shut up.  I care about your feelings.  Really.  But I may not be able to figure out what they are unless you tell me, even if I know you well.  My IQ is none of your business.  I'm not sure I believe in it myself.  I have more emotions than I am comfortable with.  But they aren't what I'm about and sometimes it is as hard for me to figure out my own feelings as it is for me to figure out yours.  I have a sense of humor, but a lot of times I am the last to get the joke.  Also I don't think making fun of people is funny.  Like most aspies I have been the object of too much of that.  But if you know me, you know about my sense of humor.  They are hard to describe.  I have a lot of penpals.  It is easier for me to make friends through writing because it helps with the social anxiety and other social stuff.  I am pretty friendly in my own way but I have a very hard time making the leap from acquaintance to friend or maintaining in person friendships.  I have been really lucky to have managed to meet a lot of amazingly patient people and then moved away before they got totally fed up with me and feel blessed to have made so many great penpals this way. 

I think the most important stereotypes to address are these.  I am not part of an epidemic.  I am not damaged by vaccines.  I am not a broken person.  I am not a puzzle.  I am not trapped by autism.  Autism is part of who I am.  If I was cured, I would not be me.

But that is sort of neither here nor there.

The brains I want to write about here are not mine.

We have gone back to learning all the time.

We had a brief fling with school but we are back, hopefully for good.

E is the sister.  She is nine, has just finished Alice In Wonderland, loves origami and playing the recorder, is better at ballet than she realizes, and attacks bouldering problems with an amazing intensity of focus.

F is the brother.  He is six, pretends to be a different animal almost every day, loves astronomy and birds, gets to be the prince in every recital, puts up with climbing because his sister does it, is tearing his way through every picture book he can get his dimpled little hands on, and occasionally wishes I had named him Ryan.

We have experimented with Waldorf, Charlotte Mason, and classical homeschooling in about that order, and have come to the conclusion that learning is fun and everything is interesting so any curriculum that becomes tedious must be overthrown.  There is a lot to love in all three approaches so we may sing pentatonic songs about bedtime one day and sing along to M.I.A. in the car the next but certain aspects of each philosophy of teaching and learning have stuck with us.

I will not write here about the patriarch.  He is a private person.

I have so many plans and thoughts about this year's learning and seeing and doing and making and growing but it is already becoming a blog novel so I am going to go to bed now and will write about the learning year as it unfolds.

Famagusta
Famagusta was conqured by the Turkish military during the invasion of the island by Turkey in 1974. The Greek Cypriots inhabitants fled. The hotels were bombed and so they stand, as signs of war. Consequently, the modern beach town was deserted, becoming a closed-off military zone, something which persists to this day. It is a ghost town frozen in time. I wish to go inside and film. But it is impossible, unless I join the army. For a moment the landscape of hotels from with 1970s architecture remind me of Tel Aviv, what it would look like if it were bombed.

Faith

Falling down
A friend said to me, “It is so symbolic that before beginning your journey around the Middle East, your leg gets injured”.
The Arab- Israeli poet we met in Jerusalem, Salman Masalcha, writes in his essay:
“The people of Jerusalem walk through it with their eyes stuck in the backs of their heads and their faces eyeless. This is perhaps another reason why the people of Jerusalem frequently fall down in the street. Every movement in it, even the smallest, leads to a wound. Every stone you turn over in this city could be hiding a scorpion.”
Maybe this is true of the entire Middle East; every movement leads to a wound

Familiar
We drive through the landscape. Am I in a foreign land? I don’t feel like I am. It seems familiar, even though I’ve never been here. There is another narrative going on alongside my own, an Ancient one, and a biblical one. I have grown up on these stories and here is where they took place. The stories of the bible, they all become real here. Not much has changed in the landscape since then I imagine.

Fantasy
Fantasy is important. In the windows of photo shops people’s photos are taken with a fantasy landscape in the background, which describe a feeling, a wish, rather than a place. Also in front of monuments in Egypt, there is always a costume booth offering glamorous clothing for adults and children to dress up in as they for a picture.

Fortune telling
Seçil says she can read my future in my coffee cup. This method of fortune telling is known as discography, or tasseomancy, and originated in China and is common in the Middle East.

Flower
(S) We saw the flower that opens only 2 times a year and that can only be found in a garden of a collector and diver in Cyprus( what was his name?). The flower is at the corner of the garden where you see a lot of found objects, either historical or memorial.

Fact
(S) What is true, what has happened. The fact is that this trip was done on time for the travelers and also for the people we have met by chance.

Feet
(S) My first time to Israel; after the long disturbing security check in İstanbul, the “welcoming” gorgeous airport, curious to see Dana and her flat. That was our second time that we see each other. I took the taxi went home, she was waiting for me. The house is quite in the center with a beatifull Tel-Aviv view. Just before I came she had her feet injured and the doctor said that she needed to stay at home. So those following weeks Dana had a hurting feet.

Fantasy
(S) I named fantasy after I saw the amusement park in Aleksandria.

Falafell
(S) On the postcard it says; “falafel İsrael’s national snack” with a photo of a falafel and a small İsrael flag on top. At the back of the postcard A Recipe to Falafel. At the end of the recipe it says: Stuff the Falafel balls into a pocket bread (pita) and garnish with a lot of imagination!

Fortuneteller
(S) Dana wanted me to look to her coffee cup and tell her fortune. It is sometimes very easy for me to get lost in a cup of coffee and I keep on talking for an hour; one fortune follows the other.

(S) Edward Said says: “ All families invent their parents and children, give each of them a story, character, fate and even a language”.

Fish
(S) The fishes we have seen in Urfa in the Fish Lake, they are the fishes from the legend. The legendary Balıklı Göl (pool of sacred fish) marks the spot that the Prophet Abraham was thrown into the fire by Nimrod, a Mesopotamian king known for his ruthlessness. Islamic teachings tell the story of Abraham; the fire of Nimrod was, through divine intervention, turned into water, and the burning coals were transformed into fish. Today, the water is known as the Halil-ur Rahman Gölü (friend of the most beneficent lake) or Balıklı Göl. Balıklı Göl has a special allure for its visitors as it holds religious significance for all three monotheistic religions. We were near the lake giving bread to the fishes, there were people on small boats in the lake, everyone was looking amazed to the water, to see the big fishes that came out from the legend. Urfa the city that has a history back to 11.500 years is by itself legendery.

Eram cadernos comuns - formavam um diário de suas andanças pela América do Sul. Guevara estava escondido na Bolívia para tentar tomar o poder. Foi capturado por militares apoiados pela CIA em 8 de outubro de 1967. 

Morreu menos de 24 horas depois.

O conteúdo já havia sido publicado em livro, mas as páginas amassadas e escritas de próprio punho provocam filas de admiradores do mito. O material deve fazer parte de uma exposição permanente em Cuba.
