Lorsque Respect s' est lancée en 1996 avec sa résidence le mercredi au soir au Queen, cela était le rendez-vous des avant-gardistes et des gay-friendlies.

En effet, l' équipe bookait des artistes qui devenaient à succès et que la génération des addicts pouvaient enfin voir jouer à Paris. Par exemple, ceux qui suivait l'excellentisme duo français signé en 1993 sur Soma Records, n' avait jamais pu les voir jouer en France. Ce duo qui a littéralement changé la donne planétaire avec son Around The World, n' est autre que les Daft Punk.

Et oui... Respect a pu pour la 1ère fois faire travailler at home Guy Manuel de Homem Christo et Thomas Bangalter.

Mais Respect faisait également jouer à l'époque toute la 'French Touch' : Cassius, Dimitri From Paris...

Cette soirée a fait le tour de la planète, mais repose tous les étés (début juin - début septembre) ses valises sur la péniche Concorde Atlantique.

Un apéro en terrasse au son d' une programmation éclectique et originale orchestrée par les magazines ou crews du moment, puis des line-ups de haute qualité.

Eté d' Amour, c'est aussi une population qui se côtoie et surtout se mélange au fur et à mesure de la saison.

Cette année encore, les mercredis soirs risquent d' être endiablés.

Ma andiamo con ordine.

Innanzitutto, notiamo come nel titolo l'autore giochi sul contrasto tra tecnologia e regionalismi sardi. Questo legame ossimorico ben si sposa con l'anima della canzone: cutting-edge nell'arrangiamento, burina nei contenuti.

La traccia inizia in modo epico tra suoni che non ci è dato capire se siano sintetizzatori o cori maschili. 50 Cent fa grandi promesse nell'intro: "Qualcosa di speciale / Indimenticabile / 50 Cent (Cent) / Justin (Tin) / Timbaland (Land) / Perdio!". Dopo aver costruito tutte queste aspettative nell'ascoltatore anglofono ed essersi presentato - perché, ricordiamolo, il 90% di un testo hip pop è costituito dall'ostinata ripetizione del proprio nome - 50 Cent ci avverte subito del fatto che "Lei, lei ne vuole" e lui gliene darà. Sarebbe poco carino, deludere la "she" di turno, del resto. E Fifty è un noto gentiluomo.
Poi ecco che parte una sorta di "risposta" musicale a Kanye. Se l'autore di "Stronger" ha scelto di campionare il vocoder dei Daft Punk, ecco che 50 Cent e la produzione di Bisteccone Timbaland ribattono con un'ossessiva cacofonia 8-bit. Veniamo a sapere che la donzella in questione non è proprio una santarellina, e che, anzi, "ci sa fare con quel palo", perbacco! Anche l'ospite d'onore, Justin, dal canto suo, sottolinea le prodezze di questa squinzia che " E' sempre pronta / Quando ne vuoi tu, ne vuole anche lei / Come una ninfomane". Notare, subito dopo, la rima baciata di grande efficacia tra "nympho" e "info": due lemmi di origine latina uno dietro l'altro in meno di un secondo! Fifty, "che vuol ch'io faccia del suo latinorum?".
Poi veniamo informati che la signorina è anche 'na cifra "new age" (ma non era una spogliarellista?), cosa che evidentemente attizza loro un sacco, perché decidono di attirare la sua attenzione con un bel "Ayò", manco fossero due pastori di Porto Torres che chiamano a raccolta la pecorella smarrita.
"Sono stufo di usare la tecnologia / Perché non ti siedi su di me?", dice l'ex 'N Sync, che evidentemente finora si è limitato a riprenderla sul suo Motorola per poi mandare scabrosi mms a tutti i suoi amichetti della crew alla sagra del porceddu. Ayò!

Ma queste sono solo supposizioni. Infatti, quella che finora ci è parsa essere una canzone che esplora con attitudine crepettiana il tema della tecnologia nei rapporti interpersonali, potrebbe rivelarsi in realtà una coraggiosa dichiarazione di 50 Cent e Justin a proposito del loro disperato e continuo ricorso all'onanismo.
Il rapper ha infatti rivelato in un'intervista a Def Sounds che il titolo originale della traccia era "Ayo Pornography". Quindi, se ricomponiamo mentalmente il ritornello della traccia cambiando la parola in questione, si aprono nuovi orizzonti interpretativi sulla solitaria vita sentimentale dei due musicisti. Peccato che a questa loro - inaspettata - fragilità si contrapponga un Kanye "Più forte / più veloce" e soprattutto "più duro".

Does It Offend You Yeah ? ("Est-ce que ça vous dérange ?" en français) est un groupe qui se veut électro-rock, avec un son qui sonne comme du Justice ou du Daft Punk. Un mélange détonnant pour un duo de DJs de choc, qui remix sans complexe ses "aînés", avec d'excellentes reprises telles que celle de Around The World des Daft Punk et Map of the Problematique de Muse.

Ajoutez à cela des morceaux uniques et dynamique comme Battle Royale, premier titre de l'album You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into sortit le 24 Mars dernier (oui, sa date, et alors ? ^^), qui en contient 10 :

Electro, funk, disco, prog rock. No, non è solo una lista casuale di generi musicali: i cuochi Justice hanno trovato 12 ricette per questi e altri ingredienti, e una volta sentito l'antipasto, non si può fare a meno di assaggiare il resto. E non c'è da preoccuparsi se si continua a consumare un pasto così sostanzioso anche nei giorni seguenti; sfido un po' chiunque a non bruciare calorie mentre assapora "Cross".

Infatti "Genesis" apre le danze in maniera plateale e potente, dalle prime battute al riff di chitarra, "D.A.N.C.E." penso abbia già ossessionato molte persone che leggono una recensione dei Justice -benvenuti nel tunnel!-, con i suoi archi e il basso che si arrampica, gli hook contagiosi e le magliette mutanti [si veda il video], "Newjack" con i suoi suoni disallineati e le sue interferenze sonore è una manna dal cielo per i palati un po' più preparati.

"Phantom" ha un campione che fa la metà del lavoro e ha dei sintetizzatori in grado di manovrare fisicamente le teste :-) , "Phantom pt II" è una bomba con influenze disco funk detonata ai vostri piedi, dagli archi agli slap ad un sintetizzatore che sembra giungere dalle viscere del creato. "Valentine" e il suo rhodes aiutano a prendere nuovamente il fiato [pur non rimanendo mai fermi]. E con "Tthhee Ppaarrttyy" e "DVNO" si è di nuovo in pista, con un mood più aggressivo rispetto a "D.A.N.C.E." .

Quando arriva "Stress", la nervosissima "Stress", non c'è ragione che tenga. Batteria tesa e serrata, suoni ossessivi e dal moto circolare come le pale di un elicottero, pianoforti pesanti e drammatici, interferenze come se dei roditori mordessero con forza i cavi dell'alimentazione del sound system: impossibile rimanere indifferenti. [Il video à la Warriors è bellissimo e rende pienamente l'idea del pezzo]

"Waters of Nazareth" e soprattutto "One minute to midnight", entrambe molto belle e diverse l'una dall'altra, riportano l'adrenalina a livelli quasi normali e vanno a chiudere il disco.

"Cross" è un lavoro composto e assemblato in maniera matura e in buona parte innovativa: pervaso da sintetizzatori dal suono crunch e da strumenti marcatamente "analogici" che si affiancano a sonorità e tecniche proprie della musica elettronica, è un giusto mix tra ecletticità e schiettezza; la struttura stessa del disco è altrettanto interessante e di certo non lasciata al caso, è presente un filo conduttore che si snoda tra le tracce più spensierate [per esempio quelle che presentano delle parti cantate] e quelle più cupe e potenti [la maggior parte delle tracce strumentali]. Consigliatissimo!

It is no surprise that France has always known how to attract an international clientele with their cuisine, wines, cheeses, music, films, literature, architecture, countryside and fashion that are incomparable and very distinct from other cultures. There seems to be a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to everything that is French and which is known throughout the world, and art is no exception. What is their secret?

Art is second nature to French painter François Couvet, who spent a lot of time drawing during his youth and who benefitted from the advice of his mother, also an artist. At the age of 13, he already knew that he wanted to be an artist but pursued the exploration of his personal techniques for a few years to be sure before starting his art studies in Paris at 17 years old. For his thesis, he spent six months in the mountains at an altitude of 2000 meters in order to be immersed in nature and fine-tune his sketches. Diplomas in hand from the Beaux-Arts school and from advertising and decoration schools, François Couvet painted animals and landscapes as well as worked on stone sculptures while in Paris, but Provence is where he found his real happiness.

He shares, “At 26 years old, I left Paris for the French Riviera. Although there are more galleries in Paris, choosing between great weather and traffic jams was easy. There is a big difference in the lighting found in my recent paintings, compared to my artwork created in Paris.”

And light is one of the qualities that invites the public to really enter into his paintings. At first sight, Ruelle Animée looks almost like a photograph, loyally capturing the sweetness and the sensation of a sunny Sunday afternoon. But looking closer, the painting highlights the aspects that a camera or even the naked eye may not notice in the moment. If architects continually look at buildings and homes whenever they go out, artists see everything and are attentive to details at every instant.

“When I see something that inspires me, I like to make a sketch on site by blackening important shapes and indicating two or three colors. Taking a photo can ruin the artist’s interpretation at the moment, but I do not always have my materials with me so I usually have my camera just in case.”

Living in rhythm with the seasons is important too, and François Couvet unveils his new creations little by little in his spring, summer and fall-winter collections. His artwork Cassis from the spring collection depicts the simple pleasure of being outside and people-watching after the cold of winter. And Ambiance à Juan from the summer collection leaves a soft light on a starry Mediterranean night shared in the good company of friends.

Technology is a very useful and practical method of experimentation to make sketches, and his placement of subjects and use of colors are refined with Photoshop. This involves meticulous research to create paintings that are both beautiful and simple, but these steps are necessary in order to communicate the desired message. Furthermore, this enables him to fully concentrate on ‘sculpting’ the final image with his knife technique when he starts to paint.

“My artwork has evolved considerably since I started my career. We are always in the process of evolving, and I believe that the road to develop one’s own style is essential. It is necessary to be patient and honest with oneself and with one’s own talent by not copying other people’s work. It took Picasso 30 years to find his style of cubism!”

François Couvet appreciates great masters such as Monet and Manet, but he confides, “Modern artists have less restrictions; they give fresh inspiration to figurative painters and vice versa. I also appreciate the modernity and simplicity of Italian design as well as its urban look, its pure and smooth style.”

After years of work and exploration, his unique mixes of a modern-figurative style give birth to creations socializing with impressionism, cubism and fauvism. Similar to French artists such as Matisse who have tipped their hats to foreign cultures, François Couvet still keeps his artistic roots. This open-mindedness of the world and of modernity while having a solid foundation of traditions may very well be the secret recipe of the French Touch.

Today, he is a Drouot artist, a precious status in France that is awarded by a commission, enabling artists to integrate a prestigious classification used by the major auction houses and which includes stars like Van Gogh, Monet, Rodin and Picasso. His works are regularly exhibited in galleries in Provence, especially in Vence and in old-town Antibes (currently at the gallery Zay Toy).

Despite the annual publication of the Drouot Cotation des Artistes Modernes et Contemporains price catalogue since 2001 after the initiative of the French government in 1992 to “structure the art professions,” the art market in France lacks a real media presence.

François Couvet adds, “It would be ideal if the French government financed advertising campaigns for artists and facilitated international exchanges in order to give artists opportunities to develop their creative vision of other cultures.”

And he shows his own vision exceptionally well in his painting New York, in which he dedicates his talent to the city that never sleeps. We find here a very surprising sensation of harmony and well-being, contrasted with the urbanism and cold feeling of big cities.

With so much research and energy put into his paintings, is it difficult to be separated from them? “No, because the life of a painting truly starts when it is purchased. What I would like to communicate most of all in my artwork is a message of peace, and when you look closer, each moment is sweet and calm once you take the time to notice.”

In France, the strong anti-globalists always criticize Americanism and the influences of the US on French culture, but France is far from not having influence in other countries. One must only look at music to realize my fellow frenchies rock this world. I always remember when in France things that were out in the states 5 years back would only come to France after such a long period of time. Now its the US' turn to take long to import hot French trends.

Tecktonik is a relatively recent part of electronic music scene in France and Europe. It all started with parties at the Metropolis club right outside of Paris. From there it took a few crazy tracks, dancers and YOUTUBE. Tecktonik is a clash of different subcultures and subgenres of music. From hip hop, electro and raving to UK punk culture all of these elements have their share of influence in this new dance and music trend.

It is only now starting to hit the US with force and it will only be a matter of time before we start having some TCK (as it is now abbreviated to) parties of our own. Until they start you should already be practicing your dance moves and learn from Jey Jey the Youtube Tecktonik star.

Edit : Et une fois n'est pas coutume, un dimanche prolifique, à bosser tranquille avec le soleil dans la chambre et Zero 7 dans les oreilles. N'empêche, j'suis rentréeophobe quand même.

Rzęsisty deszcz rozbijający się o taflę wody, późny wieczór/noc. Z ciszy powoli wyłania się spokojny bit, a po nim kolejne warstwy klawiszy generowane z różnej maści syntezatorów. Na pierwszy plan wybija się solo na organach przywołujące skojarzenia z niejakim Rayem Manzarkiem. Kolejne faktury dźwięków zagęszczają piosenkę, wreszcie pojawiają się hand clapy, które towarzyszą nam już do końca tego w całości instrumentalnego utworu. „La femme d'argent" to zaprzeczenie typowego open tracka - leniwy, ale zwarty i spójny wewnętrznie trwający ponad 7 minut numer, czyli zagranie, na które w tym miejscu mogli sobie pozwolić tylko najwięksi.

Jean Benoit-Dunckel i Nicolas Godin. Zanim zaczęli razem działać jako Air, pierwszy studiował matematykę, drugi architekturę. Wcześniej wraz z kilkoma innymi muzykami grali w zespole o nazwie Orange. W momencie ukazania się „Moon Safari" obaj mieli po 29 lat.

Intensywny, charakterystyczny motyw rozpoczyna piosenkę. Wchodzi perkusja i zmysłowo przeciągane słowa „sexy boy" - tak brzmi refren pierwszego singla z „Moon Safari". Z kolei zwrotka „Seksownego chłopaka" to erotyczna gra ledwie muskanych klawiszy i witalnego, nadającego numerowi drapieżności basu. Kontrast delikatnie w zwrotce, intensywniej w refrenie zostaje dopełniony solo na moogu i jeśli ktoś jeszcze miał wątpliwości, to w tym momencie zostały one rozwiane. „Sexy Boy" to najwspanialsza audio-ilustracja dwójki kochanków, jaką mógł przynieść schyłek lat dziewięćdziesiątych.

Air, czyli w tłumaczeniu na polski „powietrze". To jedna z możliwych interpretacji nazwy zespołu. Tą bardziej odpowiadającą prawdzie, jest rozwinięcie pierwszych liter układających się w wyraz „Air" w „Amour", „Imagination", „Reve", a więc „miłość", „wyobraźnię", „sen/marzenie".

„All I Need" jest jednym z utworów, dzięki którym najmocniej odżywają moje wspomnienia z lat dziecięcych. Właśnie wtedy zgłębiałem fenomen telewizji kablowej, a Viva i MTV bardzo często puszczały video do wspomnianego singla (dziś ciężko uwierzyć, że takie piosenki jeszcze 10 lat temu były hołubione przez stacje muzyczne). Wstęp zagrany na korgu, czyli rzecz, która jest równie mocno zapisana w mojej pamięci, co i pierwszy pocałunek, wyznanie pięknie zaśpiewane przez Beth Hirsch z równie mądrymi, uniwersalnymi, co i oczywistymi słowami-prawdami: „All in all there's something to give / All in all there's something to do / All in all there's something to live / With you...", no i te końcowe takty bezczelnie zgapione przez rodzimych hip hopowców (kto słuchał polskiego hh w tamtych czasach bez trudu odgadnie których). Takie rzeczy były wtedy „modne", szok jak wiele się zmieniło, gdy o tym głębiej pomyśleć.

„Moon Safari" był pierwszym albumem wydanym przez Air. Za debiutancki album nie należy raczej uznawać „Premiers Symptomes", który to ukazał się wprawdzie wcześniej, bo w 1997 roku (reedycja w 1999 r.), ale zawierał jedynie luźny zbiór singli z początków działalności francuskiego duetu.

Rozbiegane oczy publiczności, dwójka dziewczyn zaciekle grających w ping ponga na jakimś turnieju, przebitka na Jeana i Nicolasa, którzy grają na konsoli w kultowego Ponga. Czemu Kelly (jedna z zawodniczek) „ogląda gwiazdy"? Zobaczcie sami, jeśli spędziliście lata 90 odłączeni od telewizji i nie widzieliście jakimś cudem kolejnego katowanego wówczas przez stacje singla Air. Singla zmienionego w warstwie muzycznej w stosunku do wersji albumowej, dodajmy. „Kelly Watch the Stars" z „Moon Safari" brzmi lepiej, niż ta sama piosenka z wideoklipu. Jest przede wszystkim soczystsza, bogatsza w instrumenty, przez to cieplejsza, a i potencjał hookowy ma lepszy. Kolejny bezbłędny utwór na bezbłędnej płycie.

Gitara basowa, perkusja, mini moog, tamburyn, rhodes, instrumenty smyczkowe, organy, fortepian, korg MS20, gitara akustyczna, flet poprzeczny, gitara elektryczna, wurlitzer, vocoder, casiotone, cymbałki, clavinet, harmonijka, tuba, mellotron - to instrumenty użyte na „Moon Safari", efektów nawet nie próbuję liczyć. Dzięki nim debiutancki longplay Francuzów, choć jest nowocześnie zaaranżowany, brzmi tak bardzo retro.

Spalona słońcem preria, niebo zachodzi szkarłatem kończącego się dnia, a nad ziemią unosi się piach wydobywający się spod końskich kopyt. „Talisman" od zawsze kojarzył mi się z archetypową sceną z większości westernów, wiecie, oto na swym rumaku w kierunku widnokręgu pędzi samotny jeździec. Jeśli przyjąć takie porównanie, to z każdym taktem ta jazda jest coraz szybsza, bardziej dynamiczna, a uczucia pędu i pełnej swobody, które towarzyszą takiej chwili zostają uchwycone w „Talismanie" przez mistrzowskie partie zagrane na syntezatorach.

W 1998 roku media zaczynały powoli kierować swój wzrok w stronę odnoszących coraz większe sukcesy hip hopowców. Wtedy (jeszcze) mainstreamowe wydawnictwa z tego gatunku godziły w przeważającej części wysoki poziom artystyczny z solidną ilością sprzedanych egzemplarzy. Nie był to czas, w którym Air mogło startować z uprzywilejowanej pozycji, mimo że sukcesy odnosili tacy wykonawcy, jak Tricky czy Morcheeba, to jednak byli to muzycy z trochę innej bajki. W tym kontekście nie dziwi zachowawcze 7.9 od Pitchforka (wydane 6 lat później „Talkie Walkie" zostanie ocenione na 8.3), jednak większość krytyków rozpływała się w zachwytach nad talentem Francuzów, a „Moon Safari" wylądowało w czołówce wielu podsumowań za rok 1998.

„Remember together, remember forever" - zapamiętaj tę chwilę, gdy jesteśmy razem, zapamiętaj ją na zawsze. Refleksyjne „Remember" może odnosić się do chwil spędzonych razem przez parę zakochanych ludzi, ale równie dobrze może ewokować obrazek przedstawiający przyjaciół, którzy właśnie przeżywają wspólnie coś dobrego, coś, co utkwi w ich pamięci do końca życia lub... Ciebie i mnie słuchających „Moon Safari". „Souviens toi ce jour-là, toi et moi" - zapamiętaj ten dzień, ty i ja.

„Moon Safari" zachwyciło nie tylko krytykę. Album sprzedawał się świetnie na całym świecie, duet zaczął podbijać również listy przebojów w Stanach Zjednoczonych, tam też jesienią 98 r. dał koncert w kolebce grunge, Seattle. Ponadto zespół został zaproszony do legendarnego brytyjskiego programu Top of the Pops, a pod koniec roku rozpoczął trasę koncertową po Europie. W rodzimej Francji Air triumfowali m.in. w plebiscycie „Victoires de la Musique" w kategorii najlepszy album techno/dance, a ich krajanka i znana diva Francoise Hardy nagrała piosenkę Jeana i Nicolasa, „Jeanne" (pochodzącą z b-side'u singla „Sexy Boy").

Majaczące, ledwie zaznaczone muzyczne tło oraz delikatny, piękny i kruchy zarazem niczym porcelana głos Beth Hirsch: „How'd you do it? How'd you find me? / How did I find you? / How can this be true? / To be held and understood". „You Make It Easy" to chyba najbardziej wyciszona piosenka na „Moon Safari", a na pewno najbardziej poruszająca. Jednocześnie jest to kolejny namacalny dowód geniuszu Jeana Benoit-Dunckela i Nicolasa Godina, czyli jak napisać nowoczesną piosenkę retro, zagraną na klasycznych instrumentach, a mieszczącą się w szufladce z napisem „elektronika".

Po „Moon Safari" Air nagrali jeszcze 4 albumy - „The Virgin Suicides", „10 000 Hz Legend", „Talkie Walkie" oraz „Pocket Symphony". Osobną kategorię stanowi płyta „Everybody Hertz", która to zawiera remixy z „10 000 Hz Legend" w większości wykonane przez innych, znanych artystów (m.in. Modjo czy The Neptunes). W tej dyskografii znajdują się momenty zarówno lepsze („Walkie Talkie"), jak i mocno krytykowane („Pocket Symphony"). Poza tym Air uczestniczyli w tak oryginalnych projektach, jak nagranie płyty-słuchowiska opartego na książce Alessandro Baricco „City Reading-Tre Storie Western" i współpracowali z innymi muzykami (płyta „5:55" Charlotte Gainsbourg, córki Jane Birkin i Serge Gainsbourga). Nie należy zapominać również o solowym albumie Jeana nagranym przez niego w 2006 roku pod pseudonimem Darkel. Repertuar Air bywa coverowany przez innych artystów, np. wersję „Sexy Boy" Franz Ferdinanda można znaleźć na stronie „b" singla „Walk Away" szkockiej grupy.

Promyki słońca wpadają przez okno i nie dają nam spać ani chwili dłużej. Natura budzi się do życia, rozpoczyna się kolejny wiosenny dzień. Pogodna partia zagrana na tubie nie pozostawia wątpliwości, że to będzie dobry dzień. Dziś możesz spróbować zrealizować ambitne plany, które od dawna chodziły Ci po głowie - jest szansa, że wszystko się uda. „Ce matin-là" jest jak całe „Moon Safari", tylko jeszcze „bardziej" - nie spotka Cię tu nic złego, nieprzyjemnego, smutnego. Możesz im zaufać.

Twórczość Air jest silnie związana z kinem. Szczególnie mocno współpracują z amerykańską reżyserką Sofią Coppola - ich piosenki wchodziły na większość ścieżek dźwiękowych do jej filmów, a płyta „The Virgin Suicides", to przecież nic innego, jak soundtrack do obrazu Coppoli pod tym samym tytułem. Ponadto wiele piosenek Jeana i Nicolasa powstało z inspiracji kinem. „Le voyage de Penelope", „Cassanova ‘70", to nazwy filmów, a Kelly z „Kelly Watch the Stars" pojawiła się w wyniku fascynacji dwójki Francuzów postacią z serialu „Aniołki Charliego" graną przez Jaclyn Smith.

Leniwie, jakby od niechcenia trącane struny akustycznej gitary, jeszcze bardziej „rozlazłe" klawisze, bit będący zaprzeczeniem rozkwitającego wówczas „French touch" i przemykające w tle odgłosy bawiących się dzieci. W 3:17 i 3:32 spadają jakieś dziwne, elektroniczne komety. „My baby blue is a new star in the sky" przewijające się przez cały track. Na początku 5 minuty znowu harmider rozbawionych maluchów. „New Star in the Sky (Chanson pour Solal)" to już ostatni „powrót do przeszłości" na „Moon Safari".

Do źródeł inspiracji Air często wrzuca się wykonawców z gatunku „oczywistych", jak np. Jean Michel Jarre czy Vangelis. Sami artyści swoich „ojców chrzestnych" upatrują jednak w kim innym: „Przypuszczam, że nasze inspiracje, to współcześni kompozytorzy, jak Philip Glass czy nawet muzycy klasyczni z początku XX wieku, jak Ravel lub Erik Satie" mówi Jean. Odcinają się również od wrzucania ich do jednego worka z wykonawcami pokroju Daft Punk czy Cassius: „Coraz bardziej staramy się odejść od brzmienia pop. Nie mamy nic wspólnego z DJ-ami, ponieważ jesteśmy czystej krwi muzykami. Nasza muzyka eksploruje bardziej harmonię, niż rytm" przyznaje artysta.

Penelope to najatrakcyjniejsza kobieta w całym lokalu. Piękna, seksowna, rezolutna, wyniosła. Wszyscy mężczyźni oglądają się za nią, ale ona ich nie dostrzega. Możesz zabiegać o jej względy, ale i tak to nic nie da, bo to ona ustala reguły gry i wybiera sobie kochanków. Mimo, że wiesz, iż igrasz z ogniem ciągnie Cię do niej, jak ćmę do światła... „Le voyage de Penelope'' kończy kosmiczne safari z Air pozostawiając słuchacza z poczuciem audialnego spełnienia.

W 1998 roku Francuzi mieli powody do dumy z jeszcze jednego powodu. Na przełomie czerwca i lipca odbyły się w tym kraju Mistrzostwa Świata w piłce nożnej. Impreza była perfekcyjnie zorganizowana, mecze toczone na wysokim poziomie, a w finale reprezentacja „Tricolores" pokonała jedenastkę Brazylii 3:0 po dwóch golach Zinedine Zidane'a i trafieniu Emanuela Petit.

Le coffret collector est vraiment à l'image du concert, excellent, et l'on frissonne lorsque l'on entend le public crier derrière les mixes. 

On retrouve donc dans ce coffret 2 CD, avec tous les morceaux mixés durant la performance live + un clip vidéo du concert, filmé par des fans dans la foule. Le coffret comprend également un petit livret contenant des 1Oaines de photos du concert.

Au niveau des mixes qui s'enchaînent, rien à redire,  les titres de tous les albums sont repris, remixés, avec des enchaînements de malades, qui ont rendu Bercy hystérique !!!
