Por lo demás no han soltado prenda solo con el dichoso Halo Blue que es uno de estos proyectos pero no lo quieren desvelar todavía, según lo acontecido en el E3.

Desde la compañía advierten ,que cuando llegue el momento se harán los anuncios pertinente y la información se enseñará a todo el mundo, asi que nos tocara esperar .Lo unico que sacamos en claro aquí es que parece que tendremos Halo pa rato.

Each time I log in to Wordpress I see the search terms that people used to find my blog. For some reason or another, there are some out there that come across this blog by searching for the term "what a dick looks like" or some kind of variant of the term. It's probably because of this post.

It welcomed 18.7 million passengers during that period, a 5.4 per cent increase from the same period last year.

The numbers were released at the official opening of the airport's newest Terminal 3.

Six months since the terminal started operations, 5 million passengers have passed through its gates.

The terminal currently handles more than 900 weekly scheduled flights including Singapore Airline's A380 jumbo jet.

Overall, Terminal 3 has a total passenger capacity of 22 million a year. This represents about a third of Changi Airport's total passenger handling capacity including the Budget Terminal for low-cost carriers.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, speaking at the official opening of Terminal 3 on Friday, said planning for the terminal started in the 1970s and it is this foresight that enabled Changi to expand over the years in a systematic manner.

Today, the airport holds a special place in the hearts of Singaporeans.

"Changi Airport is probably the only airport in the world which students flock to during exams in search of a cool and pleasant place to study, and I think it's one of the few airports where wedding couples come and take pictures," said Mr Lee.

Not everything, though, can be planned.

Mr Lee cited the growth of low-cost carriers and how Changi reacted swiftly, building the Budget Terminal within eight months.

The move has paid off. Low-cost carriers contributed some 11.5 per cent of passenger traffic at Changi Airport and 47 per cent of its net growth in traffic.

Terminal 3 was 30 years in the making and already plans are underway for a fourth airport terminal in Singapore.

Prime Minister Lee said that moving ahead, Changi Airport needs to stay nimble and focused to face challenges like rising fuel cost for airlines and competition from other airports.

Part of the strategy is the corporatisation of Changi Airport and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Mr Lee said this is a major step forward to enable Changi to react faster to new needs.

He also paid tribute to the staff, in what could be seen as a move to allay fears of possible layoffs as a result of the corporatisation exercise.

Mr Lee said: "We will not forget the importance of the people who make Changi Airport work so well. It's not the bricks and mortar, it is not the lights or the architecture, it's the people, the team.

"We have a very special team and we will do our utmost to take good care of them, both during and after the corporatisation process."

The Transport Ministry will announce details of the corporatisation exercise "soon", said Prime Minister Lee.

This is the third revision this year — in January, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) had forecasted inflation to be 3.5 to 4.5 per cent. The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) raised it to 4.5 to 5.5 per cent in February, and in May, the MAS revised it to 5 to 6 per cent.

While economists like CIMB-GK Research’s Song Seng Wun of believe the latest revision by the MAS to be a case of “catching up” with record inflation in the first half, than a poorer projection for the second half, could the forecast hike — by a full percentage point, no less — deal Singaporeans a psychological hit?

Some wonder if consumer spending, as well as wage, rental and job expectations, would be adjusted accordingly.

Mr Song’s view is that such a “headline statement” from the MAS is less likely to affect consumers than what “they actually see on the ground”.

“For you and I, it will be about whether ramen noodles become cheaper, or the cost of filling up that (petrol) tank continues to fall,” he said.

Pastor Chia Kew San, 49, said: “Most consumers will trust what they see. To some, inflation will seem much more than 5 or 7 per cent — say, if a plate of chicken rice goes up from $2 to $2.50.”

Standard Chartered economist Alvin Liew, for one, thinks the forecast revision indicates prices in the second half may not ease “as much as what was originally anticipated”.

Already, Singaporeans are cautious in their outlook, and news of global demand, job growth and transport and food prices — as well as workplace rumours — will dictate how confident they feel about the economy, said Mr Song.

“Office gossip about a freeze in employment, the boss talking about cost-cutting ... all this will have an impact on confidence,” he said.

Employees in different industries would also have different levels of confidence and job security — for instance, demand remains strong in the resource and commodities sector, but less so in the financial sector.

And according to the latest manpower surveys by Hudson and Robert Walters, managers and professionals are sticking to their pay expectations — partly because of the high cost of living — even in the face of a job market slowdown.

A Robert Walters survey found that95 per cent of 900 respondents want a pay rise of at least 10 per cent, with nearly one in four hoping for 30 per cent or more.

Property analysts do not expect the inflation forecast revision to affect rental sentiments.

“The property sector probably felt inflation way before the others — a bubble was emerging throughout the whole of 2007,” said Mr Colin Tan, Chesterton International’s head of consultancy and research.

But if inflation becomes a “permanent fixture”, it may cause valuation and other property services providers to factor it into their fees.

Ups and downs of petrol prices

Meanwhile, crude oil prices remain extremely volatile.

While they now hover at about US$124, analyst Victor Shum of energy consultancy Purvin and Gertz Inc believes prices will be higher next month, before possibly dipping again.

How dramatically prices change, however, depends on many factors — how the Atlantic hurricane season affects oil-producing areas, whether tensions between Iran and the West escalate, whether demand in the United States continues to erode and demand slows down in developing countries.

Oil prices could end the year lower than current levels, said Mr Shum.

Drivers like full-time tutor Gene Tan, 30, are not optimistic. “I haven’t felt the impact of the 15-cent-per-litre dip in petrol prices. It’s not very significant compared to how much it’s gone up since the start of the year,” he said.

Still, Singapore’s economic growth continues to “sustain some degree of spending”, said Mr Song.

Some businesses told T:oday: that they had not seen a year-on-year drop in business despite record inflation in the first half.

Mid-budget restaurant chain Bakerzin said consumers are biting despite price adjustments — its cakes have increased by about 80 cents a slice, but sales are unaffected, said its assistant general manager Wu Junjie. It plans to open four new branches in the next three months.

Spa owner Siti Suhaila Yahya-Ong said business has not been affected at all, as Singaporeans have come to see massages as “a necessity”, she said.

És evident que aquestes notícies han de ser falses, i motivades per la manca de professionalitat dels periodistes. Perquè de ser certes hores d'ara ja haurien engarjolat els policies i els jutges que van permetre que un home s'estigues anys a la presó sabent-ne la seva innocència, o que haurien considerat un simple abús una agressió a un nadó.

A stranger phenomenon is how these video bloggers have become widespread. I'm sure they are few out of thousands, but they had to start somewhere. Two in particular are geekbrief and brigittedale. Now, I admit, I first noticed these because of their attractive hosts. But what exactly is it that keeps me watching? It's the delivery, especially with Brigitte Dale. Kind of a dry-ish witty humor to it. I can't explain it, but I love it. I think the fact that she's not using a "real" studio is what makes it interesting as well.

But the main point is for some strange reason, I feel compelled to get in front of a video camera. I have no clue what I'd do though, and have seriously been milling over this lately. The same thing happened with making a webpage long ago. Oddly enough, the same ideas keep popping in my head of reviewing stuff. People always ask for my opinion, so why not throw it all out there. Video does a far better job than text for this IMO.

Well, this blog is suppose to be a partial review placeholder... it sorta is? We'll see if I come up with anything. The random stuff I ponder...

It's tweezers and nail clippers.  My reading glasses.  Now, it's my good scissors.  I used them yesterday when I had to ship a box to my brother.  Everyone in this house saw them sitting on the livingroom floor with the tape and maker I wrote his info on the box with.  Remember, this is just yesterday!!  This afternoon, I needed them and couldn't find them.  I think "no big deal, I'll just use something else".  So, I do and get done what I needed.  But tonight, K asks me for them so that she can use them.  I tell her I don't know where they are.  Hubby says "well, of course, they're still on the livingroom floor where you left them".  I send Miss K after them, but she yells back "they're NOT here!!".  What??  What do you mean they're not there, don't make me have to get up.  So I get up and sure enough....they're GONE!!  Every single person saw them sitting there last night or this morning.

Why does this gremlin have it on for me??  GGRRRR  Yep, we're going to go 'round and 'round!!  I'm going to rip him apart limb by limb....IF I ever find him!!

There's things that have never shown back up.  Then there's things that show up a week or so later.  There's even times you're walking past something and there sits something you were just looking for.  It sure isn't where it belonged.  Nobody has used it.  It's just moved to some "odd" location.

ANY hopes of collecting a windfall for their flats by the more than 400 owners of Tampines Court were dashed yesterday when their collective sale was thrown out by the Strata Titles Board (STB).

While the majority owners were devastated, minority owners sobbed in relief when the STB read out its decision to a packed room at its Maxwell Road office.

STB deputy president Alfonso Ang said: 'From the evidence...the transaction is not in good faith, taking into account the sale price and the method of distributing the proceeds of the sale.'

Lawyer N. Sreenivasan, who represented the minority owners, had argued on Tuesday that the sales committee had not obtained an updated valuation of the 560-unit estate when the deal was signed last year. The valuation used was dated from 2005.

The controversial S$405 million deal also involved an amount of S$10 million called the beta sum that is meant to compensate owners for financial loss.

Mr Sreenivasan said this was unfairly distributed among owners at the discretion of the sales committee.

The arguments seem to have struck a chord with STB, whose decision was considered unusual by industry analysts as the board is perceived to generally approve sales.

Yesterday's ruling came after three intense days of hearings as the board fast-tracked a conclusion.

The High Court had ordered the STB to bring forward an Aug 7 hearing to Monday so objectors could be heard before the sale agreement expired yesterday.

A decision by yesterday was crucial as the buyers - Frasers Centrepoint and Far East Organization - would not grant an extension. The STB's ruling now means the sale is dead.

Lawyers from Phang & Co, who represented the majority owners, said they were 'discussing options'. But with no sale extension, an appeal to overturn the STB ruling will be futile.

Meanwhile, unhappy majority owners are wondering what went wrong. They stood to collect a payout of about S$700,000 each - as much as S$300,000 above the purchase price, depending on when they bought their home in the 99-year leasehold estate. One majority owner who declined to be named said she was frustrated that the sale took so long.

'We don't understand why the sales committee was dragging its feet,' she said.

The committee seems to have shot itself in the foot. The sale conditions had all been met by July 25 last year, yet the committee delayed seeking standard STB approval until Jan 7 this year.

It said it wanted to wait for an STB ruling on the Gillman Heights sale as its fate could have had a bearing on the Tampines Court deal as both were former Housing and Urban Development Company estates.

But another majority owner, Ms Irene Cheang, was more forgiving towards the committee: 'It's a thankless job, and we cannot blame them for taking this up.'

Minority owner Niamh Choo, who had tracked the sale process on her blog, tampinescourt.blogspot.com, was 'ecstactic' at the result.

'It was an inevitable decision. We had a very strong case,' she said.

'Now that we get to keep our homes, I hope residents will band together and can be neighbours once again.'

The STB has yet to disclose the grounds for rejection. It may do so at a later date.
