I know you read the title and pictured some balding guy in a silk shirt forking out cash on some 20

I know you read the title and pictured some balding guy in a silk shirt forking out cash on some 20 something year old girl at the Bellagio. But I'm not only talking to him, I'm talking to you as well. Because love doesn't pay the bills, so if you are losing money on top of that you need to start reevaluating your heart's desires. Do you really love this person? Or do you love the way people look at you when they see you scored someone this hot? Or are you the kind of person who just doesn't want to be alone at any cost?

Who are you dating? If you need to constantly fork out cash to keep your partner interested UPGRADE and get a better partner. You also need to ask yourself why you truly think no one would want to around you unless you paid them money. That's a hard question to ask yourself so if you find this might be you, I applaud you in advance for facing the facts. It's how we grow;)

I want to get real specific here so no one tries to lurk away without fessing up.

To the woman who is working two jobs, your boy toy/husband or whatever it is that sloths on the couch all day while you bust your ass (yes I said ass. cope) still "can't find a job" after 5 years. Stop making excuses, get rid of him! Your account balance will thank you and so will your patience.

To the guy in the silk shirt and the sports car wondering why your latest girlfriend only wants to meet you at the mall and only calls you back right before she tries to lure you back to the place you two met which is some strip bar you continue to tip her at even though you are now "dating." You're not her boyfriend. Don't kid yourself. You are what's called a repeat customer. You deserve better, find someone who actually enjoys your company. When YOU start thinking you're a catch so will the rest of the world.

To the woman who met her girlfriend in a whirlwind of drama at Ladies Night in the Castro and is now making her payments on her condo for her because she..."(insert dramatic story with tears)" Get out of the situation. Take yourself out of it and open your eyes and your heart to much less draining possibilities.

While we are in the Castro... To the man who just moved his new boyfriend into his condo and hasn't seen him in 2 weeks but deep down knows he'll turn up when he runs out of cash...NO! This is not love! This is not anything! And it's costing you a fortune.

Now that I have addressed every sexuality! Money is not the only thing we invest. We invest our time, patience, trust, dignity, emotions, SOUL. What is your return? Great connections, in my experience, I have found to be naturally reciprocal. If you feel you are putting out too much and getting nothing in return in any area of your life, it's time to explore something new and more profitable.

Cheers and Love,

The story came from this very day. A supposedly feast day for the muslims, long holiday for the others, a good time for families to gather, also a time to bitch about people we hate in the family. Oh yeah, we loooooooove bitching around.

Auntie Lynn paid a visit to my mama, and off they went, gossiping bitching about Auntie Lynn's daughter-in-law, the psychotic Ivana. That girl married Auntie Lynn's son, Reynald, in a pompous ceremony last year, and six months after she gave birth to a baby boy named Elias.

Before she married Reynald, she was a lovely girl who would always smile all the time, who cared about everyone in the family (even the big extended family), who was considered smart and adorable, who quickly conquered everyone's heart.

Now, that was BEFORE.

AFTER she married Reynald, she turns into this total psychotic bitch who bitches about everyone, every time, full of hatred, ignorant and stupid (proven in many circumstances already), and everyone thinks she needs an anger management therapy.

Bitchiness about Ivana Case 1

She took all Reynald's savings and put all the money into her own saving accounts. Reynald is left under her mercy, while eventually he is the bird who brings worms everyday into their nest. Ivana doesn't work, employs a nanny to take care of her baby, sits around watching lousy Indonesian so-called soap operas - the sinetrons, all day long in their 80 sqm flat somewhere in North Jakarta. Her baby never sleeps with her, in fact it's the nanny who sleeps and takes care about the tiny boy. Lousy mother and a bitch.

Bitchiness about Ivana Case 2

She likes to brag about her designer handbags and jewelries. Problem is, her handbags are all fake and her blings are all borrowed from her mother-in-law (whom she fucking hates, by the way). She thinks we have no idea, but girlfriend, it is you who haven't got any faintest idea about what we know. Effing liar and a bitch.

Bitchiness about Ivana Case 3

Before they moved to their own 20-year-mortgage leased flat, Ivana and Reynald lived at Reynald's parents'. Auntie Lynn's. But one day, Auntie Lynn popped up at the house without having called first, and you know what happened? Ivana slammed the door in front of her mother-in-law, without any purposes, screaming loudly so all the nosy neighbors had something to talk about the next day:

"The house is MINE, bitch!!"

WTF? The house, most of all things, is not hers.

Poor Auntie Lynn. She should've enforced a psychological test before her son married that crazy bitch.

Today I get to head over to Goldie's house and play middle man. Her husband is coming to get his stuff out of the house and Goldie does not want to be there when he does so. She has recruited me to be the person in the house to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Let me tell you how much fun this should be. About like driving nails through my fingers. I know hubby is going to be uncomfortable and so am I.

Time Laps!!! I didn't finish the post so I am going to put it in here

After being over there and doing my thing. It is apparent to me that Hubby doesn't understand what it takes to be in a relationship. He is upset and hurt but through that I heard many BS things that you hear all the time.

"When I am angry I forget what I am doing. I just see red."

"No one else seems to have a problem with what I am doing."

"There are some things a man can not abide."

I will be the first to admit that Goldie is hard on a relationship. Heck look at the name I gave her. But hubby not going to counseling, and just saying that he is doing everything he can. And that no one else has a problem with him just doesn't cut it.

If your wife has a problem with it fuck everyone else. She is your family now. Period. End of Story. They are both so small when it comes to a real relationship. Both have so many things to learn about being open and honest with one another. Yes I agree its not always easy. But you don't pick fights. And you do everything you can to love and help the person. These two are going at it like 5 yearolds. Looking at the actions of the other trying to find some motive and thinking that the other gets some kind of joy from it.

They are children trying to live in an adult world. I feel sorry for both of them. I hope they can grow up and work on the relationship.

You know I never thought it would come to any use to me going through the crazy ass relationship that I did with Munny. But it is proving to be a wealth of knowledge in what not to do in a relationship.

it turns out that I am able to use this vast database of knowledge to help direct my sister, Gold Digger, in her marrage problems.

You see Gold Digger was dating and got married to her man in a very short time. With the attraction of having kids and wanting some financial security in her world she rushed in and is now getting burned from it. She is learning that just because a person has a law degree doesn't mean they are going to give you a big ass pay check.

And while I am not saying its all her fault not at all. Her man had every chance to make smart choices together but both of them were fools.

And now I am spending about 2 hours a night on the phone with Goldie trying to advise her on what she can do to save her marriage.

The sad part is I don't think this is going to have a happy ending. I keep telling her things to do like positive, but firm, reinforcement. But she is losing sight of the goal in her own hurt and pain. Her man is spitting venom at her and she at him and that will just poison them against each other. It really will.

So there is an upside to having been a relationship like that for so long. It teaches you how bad it can be. It teaches you unimaginable pashients for people. And being on the other side of it now has taught me that people can change and that everyone even the most sick and ugly can turn out to be gold and that they are worth fighting for.

Lets hope Goldie can learn that in a very truncated time table.

I understand the symbolic reasoning for the haircut but Preston you forgot one critical thing. As with the others, cutting your hair off makes you seem guilty. And, you can't be guilty.

Preston, right now you're the best player on the team and that comes with perks. Besides all those very, very willing horny gold-diggers hoping to trap you just in case you make the NFL study buddies...

Very important perks like never really being guilty. Just as Peter Warrick (not Laveranues Coles though, I hear he's still pissed about it). You should have left the hair long, stood on the Crimi-Nole throne, spit on the 2-game suspension and proclaimed innocence. You're the star Seminole, act like it.

a lot of folks hate on kanye west because he is so freaking arrogant, and i'll give them that... he is incredibly freaking arrogant. but the dude is amazing. he is one of the most progressive, creative and innovative artists in the game... in any genre! well, ladies and gentlemen, kanye west has raised the bar and flipped the script once again.

after a steady string of innovative hits and ridiculously addictive jams like "jesus walks", "gold digger" and "stronger", most would expect mr. west to emerge with yet another blazing musical expedition that would blow minds and move booties everywhere it's heard.

but instead of butts, this time around it sounds like he is aiming to move minds and challenge his listeners with... *gasp* change! change is amazing. change is vital. if you're going to stay on top of your game, remain relevant, and be effective in whatever it is you do, you must accept, embrace and be an agent of change. my homey brewster just wrote a killer blog about change that you should go read right now!

so, instead of putting out the the next club banger, 'ye has pulled a janet jackson/that's-the-way-love-goes on 'em and dropped something that no one was expecting... and it's crazy hot.

"love lockdown" is the new single from kanye's new album, reportedly titled "808s and heartbreak", which is due by the end of the year. he performed it at the vmas this week (one of the only 2 memorable moments in an otherwise lackluster show) and the performance was great. it's not what anyone was expecting from him. it is surprisingly and refreshingly low key and subdued compared to many of his other more hyper-edged material. it sounds like what's next. it sounds like innovation. it's strength is it's simplicity. it sounds like change... and it's about to be everywhere.

This is a hilarious parody of Kanye West's song Gold Diggers with the theme being Evolution. The lyrics' got digs at Paleontologists. No offence to them! I just find the pop culture understanding of stuff like this funny.

Lyrics after the break....

Bone Diggers - Apologetix (a parody band)

They make a monkey right out of me -- Yes, they've been tryin' endlessly
Overeager bonediggers -- they never found that jigsaw piece
They make a monkey right out of me -- It makes for funky biology
I'm not the kid of some hominid, who comes from a lizard, whose mama was a fish

Now I ain't hatin' on the bone diggers, but I say evolution don't figure
Now, I ain't hatin' on the bone diggers, but I ain't never seen no holes bigger
It sounds like no evidence found, it sounds like their heads in the ground
It sounds like they're just too proud, it sounds quite boneheaded

You need to ponder whether evolution is wrong
Whether maybe you was put on under cover of dawn
They said, "We can tell from rocks, we tell by the carbon"
'Cause this world has gotta flock of descendants of Charles Robert Darwin
But I'm lookin' for the odds at casinos
That life could come to be from random acids amino
Zero -- we know it's hocus pocus
And they wanna make all of that an accidental process?
O.K., let's pretend a fishy got some kids
That stood up on their fins and crawled up on land
Without evidence and here we are today
If you're trustin' in this worldview you better have faith
You know why? They make too much of nothin'
Stuff that I've heard it should have been on Mythbusters
Their best forensic samples couldn't cut the mustard
You don't care what none of us say you still trust it

(They make a monkey) Now I ain't hatin' on the bone diggers (right out of me)
But I say evolution don't figure (It makes for funky)
Now, I ain't hatin' on the bone diggers (biology)
But I ain't never seen no holes bigger (I'm not the kid)
It sounds like no evidence found (of some hominid)
It sounds like their heads in the ground (who comes from a lizard)
It sounds like they're just too proud (whose mama was a fish)
It sounds quite boneheaded

1859's the fateful year -- they've had 150 years to prove their great new theory
I know some funny ways they found support for some of it, kids
They made some hominids from parts of gibbons and pigs
Your museums are deceiving when you visit one they
Take a couple bones pawn it off as a primate
They were s'posed to find all sorts of life forms we could study
They went to the rocks and got dinosaurs in the muddy
They're talkin' down actin' like the Bible is so funny
Could've got dinos sooner if they tried Job 41-y
If it ain't no bunk, holler "We want proof now, we want proof now, yeah!"
It's somethin' that'll make you mad
Cause all the links they had were either weak or bad
Great big digs since the 1860's
And after waiting and searchin' they found out it doesn't exist?

*CHORUS*

Now I ain't hating on the bone digger, no, not me
I've found trilobites in stone and some petrified trees
You know evolution ain't paleontology
Transition forms are lackin' -- got a hole up his sleeve
But -- the other option's not fun
So he gonna make you into a man out of that pond scum
This is his religion baby, don't be surprised
That fishy on all fours on his jeep's his messiah
So, let's not fight -- I won't abuse Darwin 'cause that's not nice
And they're gonna keep stallin' and tryin' to prove they're right though
And when you catch on we'll lead you back to the Bible

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger…
Guys can be stupid sometimes and Little Brother i

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger...

Guys can be stupid sometimes and Little Brother is no exception. When they first moved into the house he'd started a joint checking account at Gold-digger's request so she would be able to take care of paying the bills and things for him. He continued to let her pay the bills even after he'd found out she'd stolen from him and had given her a deadline to get out. I can't imagine why he would trust her to actually take care of those things at that point but he says he just didn't think about it.

Identity theft is everywhere these days and some companies just make it too easy. Gold-digger went online with Little Brother's social security number and one of his old paychecks and got a payday advance loan from Wells Fargo. No proof of identity needed, check mailed right to the house, signature forged and tada you've got yourself some cash. This was several months before we knew about her stealing the other money and before the fake criminal charges. Oddly enough though she was paying back the minimal payment of $20/month until Little Brother was arrested. We found out about this after he moved out and he received a past due notice from Wells Fargo forwarded to my mom's. After a bunch of affidavits and aggravation, he wasn't responsible for the loan and it was taken off his credit report. Unfortunately though, while it's pretty clear it was Gold-digger, she'll never be prosecuted. Wells Fargo said they have tons of these fake loans and the [city redacted] police have tens of thousands of similar complaints.

Gold-digger also went online with Little Brother's Discover Card number and bought a big screen tv. Found out about that one when LB's card was declined at the gas station since the tv had put him over his credit limit. Card canceled new one issued, and yet again Gold-digger gets away with it. The tv wasn't delivered but still, it was ordered to go to her boyfriends, so obviously her!

Ok, whatever, some little petty stuff. Annoying as hell, especially since there were no repercussions for her, but no real damage done. After we found out about the payday loan Little Brother had me run his credit report just to make sure there weren't any other loans like that taken out. Boy were we in for a surprise.

The mortgage hasn't been paid in months. Why would she stop paying the mortgage, she was paying it with his money and the house was in her name too so she'd only be screwing herself. Yeah, well, Gold-digger doesn't think things through like that. She'd stopped paying the mortgage in May- a full two months before we even knew about the other money issues. Instead of paying the mortgage she took the money out and... ? Well I don't know what she did, still don't. The girl baffles me. None of it really makes sense. She also stopped making payments on her car and it was repossessed not long after Little Brother was arrested. Where did all this money go?

Little Brother talked to the mortgage company who told him foreclosure proceedings would be started if payment arrangements weren't made. His criminal case hadn't gone to trial yet so he still had a restraining order barring him from his own home. We consulted a real estate attorney as we were at a loss for what to do. Initially the attorney told us not to worry and it was all fixable. The criminal case was coming up and after that was settled he said we could negotiate with Gold-digger to get her out of the house and sign over any rights to it. As long as we had the necessary funds we could pay off the past-due amounts of the loan in both their names and refinance for a loan in just Little Brother's name. Simply paying it was not a good option because we'd be left with nothing to negotiate with he said. There was no way she could afford to pay the past-due amount and with the impending likelihood of being removed from the house and having her credit ruined she would be more agreeable- or so he thought.

The criminal lawyer was able to get most of the charges dropped since they simply had no merit. The he said-she said aspects of things went forward but Little Brother was acquitted on all charges. Our lawyer tore her apart on the stand and she admitted in open court to lying about that night and stealing money- still stuck with her story of giving it to a friend that had to flee the country though. Gold-digger's line of thinking made no sense but she really believed that by filing false charges she would get my brother jailed and gain sole custody of Brooke. She also thought doing this would allow her to keep the house even though she couldn't afford to pay the mortgage on her own.

After the trial, Gold-digger was extremely angry. We still had no custody agreement and even though Little Brother was found not guilty of all charges we were unable to get the restraining order dropped. Because of that all the contact we were legally allowed was two hours a week on Sunday mornings supervised at the court house. It was awful. Half the time, Gold-digger wouldn't even bring her. The court officers at least documented this though which they said would be helpful when we finally did get in front of a judge for a custody agreement.

In the meantime, we tried to work things out with Gold-digger in terms of the house. The real estate attorney presented her with reasonable offers to vacate the house and sign it over solely to my brother. Not surprisingly though, Gold-digger wasn't being reasonable. She said for $500,000 and signing over all parental rights of Brooke she would leave and sign over the house. Our case must have been quite entertaining for the attorney. The house was worth half that and he'd never had a child as part of a settlement before. Obviously we'd never agree to that. Gold-digger did eventually become more reasonable only asking for $20k but still included Brooke in the equation so it was a no go. We even offered to sign the house over to her but that didn't work either since she couldn't afford the monthly payments much less the back payment.

Finally the real estate attorney said our best bet was to just "sink it." Let the foreclosure happen and move on. Well it's been two years now since the mortgage was last paid but Gold-digger is still living there! Can you imagine? Apparently there are so many foreclosures going on right now that ours is stuck on a waiting list. Little Brother has even tried to move things along and just get the inevitable over with but no go. Makes you want to stop paying your mortgage doesn't it? Well not really, but come on, she's been living there not paying a cent for two years now.

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger…
The fallout from Gold-digger’s second false

Continuing with the insanity of Gold-digger...

The fallout from Gold-digger's second false police report really brought me to the edge. Well, it's my blog, guess there's no reason not to be honest on here- I was way over the edge. There's no words to describe the depths of what I fell into and unlike prior times it hit me immediately.

The night Little Brother was arrested I was partying at a friend's house. I'd come off of 3 days straight at the hospital and was running on 2 hours sleep. My phone had two voicemails- first was from Brooke asking me to come and get her with Gold-digger screaming in the background for her to get off the phone, the 2nd was from my mom in a very high pitched voice asking me to call her.

It was an absolute nightmare, I sobered up immediately and went to the police station with my mom. They wouldn't tell us anything and we weren't allowed to see him. He wouldn't be assigned bail until two days later and there really wasn't anything we could do until then. My friend's husband is a shark lawyer. I got him involved and he was full of reassurances. They were stalling on charging him because they wanted to hold him for as long as they could. He figured there might be minimal bail, low 5 figures so it would be good to pull some funds from the bank.

Sitting around, simply waiting, knowing my brother was in jail and there was nothing I could do- not something I took well. The lawyer told us to go home and get some sleep. Sleep was not for me, I stayed awake until he was out- nearly three days. I flittered around the house cleaning everything, pulling things out of drawers and reorganizing. At night Logan tried to get me to at least lay down in bed with him, I tried but I just couldn't sit still.

After awhile everyone's energy levels take a dip. When mine did I still couldn't sleep but decided I'd take a nice hot bath. Logan really is a good guy. In his continuing efforts to take my mind off of things he set up a table tray in the bathroom with my laptop on it and popped in a Sex in the City DVD. And when that one was done he put in another one. Yea, I was in there that long. I don't know how many times I refilled that water but I was in the tub for hours.

When his arraignment hearing came up we were in for another surprise. Despite zero evidence they were still going forward with most of the charges including attempted murder. While Little Brother did get bail, it was higher than we expected requiring another trip to the bank and moving some funds around. It was back to jail in the meantime for Little Brother. There were conditions on his bail too including a restraining order from Gold-digger. The judge said once he was out he could make an appointment with the police and receive a set day and time where he could retrieve his belongings from the house with a police escort.

Not having any of your belongings or a place to live- not fun, but nothing compared to not being allowed to see your own daughter. We're alot closer than most families and Brooke spent a large amount of time with my mother and I. After five years of seeing us practically everyday Brooke couldn't understand abruptly cutting all contact. The few times during this period we did see her are ingrained in me. I can still hear her tears and confusion. Gold-digger would bring her to every court date- even though some of these times she should have been in school, another thing that really pissed me off. The one time she did let Brooke talk to Little Brother and I for a few minutes. It ended with Gold-digger saying "Okay Brooke time to go." and grabbing her by the arm and literaly dragging her off. Brooke was sobbing the whole way screaming "I want to go home with Daddy and Aunt Ally." It broke my heart. I personally would have preferred not seeing her at all just because of how much it was hurting her.

I'm a person whose always valued a good work ethic but at this point that was pretty much out the window. I was scheduled to be at the hospital a few hours after Brooke was dragged away from us in court. I was a wreck, I knew I'd be no good to anyone there. Called a friend and got him to cover my shift for me. I went to my mom's instead and proceeded to drink nearly an entire bottle of Amaretto. Logan came and picked me up a little later. My mom insisted I take the Amaretto with me and who am I to not do as I'm told... Logan suggested going out to the movies. Sounds good to me, can I take the Amaretto with me I asked him. He put what was left of it into a water bottle for me and off we went. I was pretty much drunk off my ass that night but he never minds that. Like I said before, I get horny when I'm drunk so he had fun that night ;)

At this point we thought we knew about all the shit Gold-digger had pulled but turns out there was more...

Everything came out at this point. Li

Continuing Little Brother and Gold-digger's story...

Everything came out at this point. Little Brother, Gold-digger, my mom, and I had it out for hours at the house. When first confronted, Gold-digger stuck with the story of repaying the money saying his former employers came to her and said he would be arrested. She was only looking out for him she insisted with tears in her eyes. Not buying it, Little Brother calls the store and asks them about it. She sat there straightfaced as he was on the phone and even afterwards kept insisting she had given them the money. After awhile, she came up with several other ridiculous stories and finally settled on giving it to a friend who was in an abusive relationship and needed to flee the country. Yes, you heard me right, do you think she was watching Lifetime that day?

She never wavered from that final story, even today insisting it's the truth. A whole lot of other shit came out that day though. Gold-digger just lost it at one point and went into a tirade of all the things she had to do because of us. She admitted she had stolen the bank-drop money, made up the rape, and a whole handful of other things. Somehow though everything she did was our fault. The best one though was how she had to get an abortion a few months prior. This was all Little Brother's fault- if only he'd been sleeping with her, she could have passed the kid off as his but since they hadn't been together in years she was forced to get an abortion. Oh gee, so sorry, you couldn't pass someone else's kid off as my brothers.

At this point, all bets are off. Little Brother tells her she's got 3 months to find a place and move out- and Brooke's staying with him. Gold-digger agreed but I didn't believe a word she said at this point. With a month left for her to leave, Little Brother asked her if she had everything in place to move out. She says she's changed her mind and wants to work things out. Um, way too late. She decided to act like everything was completely fine and normal between them. They got in a fight and he left to cool off.

After he left, Gold-digger calls the police and tells them he raped her, beat her with a gun, threatened to stab her with a knife, choked her till she passed out, threatened to kill her and Brooke, and oh the best- handcuffed her to the bannister on the stairs- with those toy handcuffs that you can unlock yourself. Little Brother calls home to see if she's calmed down and does she want anything from the store. He gets the police telling him if he doesn't come home right then they'll arrest him, he was 10 minutes away and said he would be right there. Gets there and the police arrest him- 8 squad cars were at the house. Gold-digger has Brooke call my mom and tell her "mommy said daddy's gone away forever and now it's just the two of us." Brooke is such a daddy's girl though she whispered to my mom that she wanted to go with daddy, lol. I think even a 5 year old can smell crazy...

I don't know how the police would even believe her or on what grounds they could charge him but they did, despite the fact that she had no bruises, cuts or any injurys whatsoever and refused a rape exam- plus if you remember, this isn't the first time she's cried rape. With all the charges he was facing 147 years in jail...

Continuing the story of Little Brother and Gold-digger, this is the fourth post in this crazy series.

Check out the previous posts if you're joining after the commercial break...

Ok, up to date there? Well onward we go...

Pretty run of the mill relationship issues with the exception of Gold-digger's fake rape claim. There was a quiet kind of peace for awhile but in the back of my mind I was always ready for the worst. I knew when they finally ended their relationship it would be bad but I never imagined just how bad.

I figured Little Brother was still messing around but we didn't really talk too much about it. He said he thought Gold-digger was sleeping with somebody else too, a mechanic at Meineke, and he couldn't care less about it. It had come to the point where they really were only together for Brooke but no one was saying it. Just another elephant in the room. Gold-digger still had this warped sense of entitlement though. Little Brother's car was pretty old at this point and needed a ton of work to pass inspection. He decided to just get a new car instead. Since he did, she did. There was nothing wrong with the car my mom had previously bought for her but it was like tit for tat with her. She went out and traded it in for a brand new Jeep Liberty, not that expensive a car but not one she could afford either.

I don't know what made her go down this road. I guess she'd just had enough.

My brother works as a manager for a few fast-food chain stores. Sometimes he'd take the drop deposits home with him after closing and drop them at the bank in the morning since it wasn't anywhere near his route home. Same as always he dropped them off the one day but the bank called saying the money wasn't in there. Instead the bags were filled with paper, over $4000 was missing. There were no camera at the drop spot inside the bank so we all figured it was a greedy teller. The company he worked for didn't believe he'd taken the money but still thought he should be liable for it and wanted him to pay back the $4k. He refused, they fired him.

Did you figure out where the money went? If you guessed Gold-digger, you're right. She switched the bags and took the cash. Looking back, we were fucking morons to not see what was going on. But she'd been in our lives for over five years at this point and while I didn't always see eye to eye with her, she'd never shown any indication of pulling shit like this.

Gold-digger hit my mom and I up for cash to help her out with bills. Ok, of course we'll help, Little Brother's out of work, obviously cash is tight. Then she calls my mom at work in a panic saying Little Brother is at his old store and they're going to have him arrested if he doesn't pay the money back with interest that day. Obvious bullshit story and if she tried to feed me that one it wouldn't have worked. From talking with my brother it was already clear his former employer wasn't pressing any kind of charges; they didn't think he'd stolen the money. But my mom bought it, she left work, got $6k cash from the bank and drove to give it to Gold-digger. My mom wanted to go in and see Little Brother but Gold-digger said he was too embarrassed to see her and wasn't ready to talk about it.

A couple of weeks later, Gold-digger goes to my mom with a $7k bill from Mieneke for car repairs- on her brand new car. At least my mom didn't give her money for that one. She told Gold-digger to go back to the dealership- you got a lemon. It's at this point my mom talks to my brother about the $6k she'd given Gold-digger, asks him if everything's ok with his former employer now. Little Brother had no clue what she was talking about.

That's when the shit hit the fan...

So to continue my brother's tale. I last left off with poor Gold-digger being cheated on.

Boo hoo (i'm such a fucking bitch, lol)

Maybe a month or two later, the night before Brooke's 2nd birthday party, things got crazy again. Little Brother was working late, Gold-digger goes home alone to their apartment with Brooke. As she was putting her keys in the back door, a black man came up to her and put a knife to her throat. He told her to go inside, put the kid in a closet and do exactly what he said or he'd slit both their throats. He then rapes her on the living room floor and leaves afterwards.

Or at least that's what her story was.

I still do not fully understand this one. She filed a police report but refused a rape kit or to look at mug shots of local sex offenders. The police officers insinuated that she'd probably been sleeping around and used this story to cover her ass. I was furious on her behalf; at the time I didn't really have any reason not to believe her. Found out years later she really did make it up. I'd let the story unfold as it happened but I don't want anyone to think I'm a total bitch ragging on the poor girl who got raped.

At the time, I felt horrible for her. Their lease was up in two months and you'd figure a girl who was raped in her own apartment would be keen to get out of there. Nope... Little Brother wanted to move, she said it'd be too much of a hassle and renewed their lease without telling him.

A few months into the new lease, Gold-digger said Little Brother was right, she was uncomfortable living there. She announced she wouldn't be comfortable in any apartment and it was time they bought a house. Can't afford one, but that's not an issue for Gold-digger.

Her family had moved down south shortly after their big fallout. This left Gold-digger with the wonderful tactic of threatening to take Brooke and move south if she didn't get her way. My mom didn't know about this new turn of events but did know they really couldn't afford a house on their own. So she offered to give Little Brother the downpayment for a house. The mortgage itself wasn't much more than their rent so it made sense.

By this point though, their relationship had become a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Little Brother wanted to put the house just in his name since he'd be the one paying the mortgage and the downpayment was from my mom. Gold-digger, of course, found this unacceptable. Thus starting the precident where all she had to do was threaten to take Brooke and she got whatever she wanted.

Time to bash Cosmo again. I'll admit i use to buy the magazine, but then i soon realized every issue was the same. And this month there's something even more frightening than monotony: a guide essentially chronicling how to be a gold digger. Are you serious? A guy with money would make life easier, but it would be really boring.

I dated a guy once who couldn't stop talking about his money, in fact that's what all our conversations were centered around. He wanted me to feel free to order anything because, "money wasn't an issue." he kept going on and on about this car that we wanted which he made sure to mention was expensive. Needless to say, he only lasted a few dates. But maybe it's not just females who are obsessed with money.

In the article they go on to tell you where rich guys hang out, what they do for a living, and what they're like as a partner. It sites hotel bars and steak houses as a place to meet these men, steak houses again? Are you kidding me? The article also warns gold diggers that most rich men have that appropriate radar. But if you are a gold digger and want an insider tip here's one: most rich guys have disguises. For example, i know a guy who makes good bank, but often takes the subway and meets girls for dates instead of driving his car to pick her up. He wants a girl to like him for who he is, and i can't blame him.

So the lesson of the day is, like someone for who they are. You might end up rich, you might not, but you will be happy, and that is something money can't buy.

Gold-digger was okay one on one, and I'd see her alone most days during the week so we would talk. We weren't super close but we were friends. When she was around my family as a group though she was always quiet and sullen with an almost sneer on her face. I'm all about family and when I got married, I had my husband's sisters and my cousin as my bridesmaids. My brother was one of the groomsmen and I figured Gold-digger would be a bridesmaid too. When I mentioned it to Little Brother, he got all weird. He didn't want her to even be invited, much less in the wedding. Some of our family still didn't know about her and the baby but so what, they'd get over it and it was time they found out anyway. Turns out that was the excuse he was going to give her; he just didn't want her there. Her lack in social skills could make this understandable so I didn't push further. I was wrong though.

At the rehearsal dinner, it became apparent why he didn't want her around. Little Brother was walking down the aisle with Chrissy, my husband's younger sister, who at the time was a very young seventeen. This wasn't the first time they'd met and she'd made it clear in the past she was "crushin" on Little Brother. Apparently the feeling was mutual; their flirting was painfully obvious. Hubbie was not happy, lol. By the time we came back from our honeymoon, Chrissy was over the moon about him. They were in love, she gushed and when they got married we'd be "double sister-in-laws." (I'm kind of gagging writing this and also laughing at how much of an idiot she sounded saying this shit, bad combo) Little Brother had her convinced that he was just roommates with Gold-digger and only that because he wanted to be a good father to Brooke.

Little Brother and I haven't fought since we were both in grade school. We were more like partners-in-crime; anytime my mom saw us whispering she'd ask what we were plotting. He's outgrown it now but he had a wicked temper at this time and I thought for sure we'd have a blow out over this one when I talked to him. But he didn't, he agreed it was stupid and said he was going to try to work things out with Gold-digger. Chrissy was devastated, the dream of becoming "double sister-in-laws" was shattered. Personally, I didn't care if he worked things out with Gold-digger or not. This was not the first or even the second time he'd cheated on her. I just didn't want to be in the middle of this any longer.

Gold-digger had seen text messages on Little Brother's phone from Chrissy. He denied anything was going on, saying he'd asked Chrissy to send suggestive texts as a test to see if Gold-digger was snooping around. The next time she questioned him about it, he kept up with his story saying if she'd stop looking at his phone, he'd tell Chrissy to stop texting him. I don't know how I managed to keep a straight face listening to him tell her this shit. Gold-digger said ok but obviously didn't buy it; she started calling Chrissy at all hours telling her to "stay the fuck away from my man." My mother-in-law was flipping out at me saying I was corrupting her daughter and how my brother had taken her virginity. (Nope, that was already gone, but couldn't exactly come back with that.)

Ok, I bet you're feeling bad for Gold-digger right about now, I was too for half a second but trust me, the girl dug her own grave.

My family’s closer than most and what’s been going on with my brother has impacted me a

My family's closer than most and what's been going on with my brother has impacted me a great deal. Plus one of my big issues deals with him and what's going on now, hard to understand though if you don't know the history there.

When he was in high school, he was your typical teenager focused on girls and booze. He was seeing one girl for awhile then started cheating on her with another girl he'd met at work. He was feeling pretty guilty and didn't know what to do. Well the decision was made for him when the second girl, the one he was cheating with, became pregnant. If a teenage pregnancy isn't complicated enough, this one had many other issues.

The girl, let's just call her Gold-digger, was older than him, 18 and graduated from high school. Her parents didn't care that she was pregnant so much as that it was with a white guy. I don't get racism in general but this one was even weirder- Gold-digger's mom is white! But she feels white men are "inferior specimens" (WTF!) and wanted her daughter to be with a black man.

My brother was scared to tell our parents, pretty typical reaction, but he let it go way farther than it should have. When she was 8 months pregnant, Gold-digger eventually called my mom and told her. My mom, queen of ignoring situations, tried to talk with Little Brother about it once. He blew up and she dropped it completely. My dad didn't find out till after the baby (my neice Brooke) was born and was quite understandably upset. Little Brother and him had a huge falling out over this and didn't speak for a few years.

Gold-digger's parents gave her an ultimatum, basically she and the baby could continue to stay with them if she cut all ties with my brother and had him sign over all parental rights or she could leave and never come back. Well she choose the second option and it didn't go over well. The next day while she was at work, her parents changed the locks, put her things in trash bags out on the lawn and took Brooke from daycare. It was supposed to be my day to pick her up, called Little Brother after I found out she'd already been picked up and the drama began. Gold-digger's parents decided that she and my brother were unfit parents and they would be keeping Brooke. We had to get the police involved to get her back.

With nowhere to go, Gold-digger and Brooke moved into my mom's. Little Brother tried to step up and be a good dad while still working full time and starting college full time. Something had to give and unfortunately it was school. My mom would have supported them completely while he worked towards a degree but he wanted to get their own place and be able to support his family. Gotta respect that but sucky situation.

Daycare was not what I would have wanted for Brooke but at the time it was the only option. Little Brother and Gold-digger needed to work for financial reasons, our mom worked fulltime, and Logan (my fiance at the time) and I were still in college. After classes, I would get Brooke from daycare and later get Gold-digger from work. It wasn't something that I minded but I wasn't able to do it after my schedule changed at the hospital. So Brooke's daycare hours were extended and my mom bought Gold-digger a car. My family's not rich but my mom is pretty well off and this became apparent to Gold-digger quite quickly. Hindsight is 20/20 and if we'd known what we do now we could have saved ourselves a ton of heartache, but there's no turning back the clocks.

But this post is getting kind of long, I'll finish this one later and explain why I'm calling her Gold-digger.

I've been at the hospital the past four days with next to no sleep but it's all worth it now that I'll be heading out of here in a couple of hours. I'm looking forward to a week of fun in the sun with Logan.

Next week- gulp- classes start. Somehow that just snuck up on me, not mentally prepared to start back yet.

Probably not going to be around this week, want to savor my time off with Logan. I'll be reposting Gold-digger's story though along with an update- yep, she strikes again...

It comes as no surprise to many people that a jury would come back with a decision rejecting Sharon Brown's assault lawsuit, must to the delight of the Osteens.

Brown sought over $400,000 in damages, although initially she sought 10% of Victoria's net worth.

Read the rest of the story HERE.

I personally figure from all the various pieces of information that was given out about this case, such as Brown admitting calling Joel Osteen "the Devil" and their church a "cult", it was probably apparent to the jurors that Brown already had an issue with the Osteen family and their particular brand of faith.
