Between Djing, designing a clothing line (DIm Mak Collection) and running his very own record lable (Dim Mak Records), Steve has yet to amaze us by unloading two new exclusive mixes and the tracks are straight SEX. Snoop's latest hit, Sexual Eruption, is remixed by Wierd Science which is Aoki's side project with Moving Units' Blake Miller. The other song is Good Charlotte's single Misery. Enjoy!

Sempre.

I think that the title of this entry sums up how I am feeling about teaching English to high school

I think that the title of this entry sums up how I am feeling about teaching English to high school boys so far. It is not an easy job.

My being at a vocational high school does not make my job any easier, because for 95% of these students, they haven't cared enough about English so far in their lives to be able to have a conversation. None of them have been abroad, and they seem to come from rough backgrounds. So I'm at an inner city school, starring in a low-budget indie version of Sister Act 3.

Teaching a conversation class to novices, by the way, is impossible. So I've lowered my expectations drastically. My average class begins with a painful exercise: asking them how they are doing, and how there weekend was. I really was getting sick of hearing "fine thank you, and you?", so each week I work on a new response to how are you? Including "I am fantastic!", "I am awful"!, and "I hate your class waygooknom!".

If you are sentenced to teach at this type of boys' school, be prepared to dig for answers. If I ask the class a question such as "How was your weekend?" I get no response 99.9% of the time. I must go and individually interrogate students to get something out of them, and sometimes this pays off in spades -> "How was your weekend, student?" ... wait for it ... response is coming ... "Study!" Okay then that is something. I encourage my students to tell each other to shut up, and will not say no to profanity, because any English is better than none.

After the discussion grinds to a halt, and I run out of patience, it is on to vocabulary. This is when I use the textbook chapter. The first two chapters I have dealt with are "Teen Worries!" and "DNA!". I teach no more than 3 words per class, and when I say teach, I mean scrape and claw to get the students to say words that are related to terms like "science", "scientists", "homework", and "stress". As long as the response is in English, I will write it on the board, no matter what the student has said and how many miles from 1st base it is.

I am not alone in any of this, however. I have 5 different co-teachers, who help out with translation and corporal punishment / beat downs. I will do a week on the chilling world of corporal punishment at a Korean All Boys Vocational School.

After vocabulary, it's time for what I call "fun", but what my students call the time left before class is over. For the uplifting weeks about teenage worries, I focused on angst-filled music videos. For week 1 I went with a couple ditties by Simple Plan - Welcome to My Life and I'm Just a Kid. Let me tell you, after hearing the same depressing Simple Plan songs repeated 26 times in one week, I began to consider the possibility that my parents had done a horrible job raising me, no one understood me, my dog had died after choking on my goldfish, and I was currently wearing entirely too much hair gel.

Week 2 of Teenage Worries I had the students fill in the lyrics to Good Charlotte's "I just wanna live". Even I was beginning to feel 16-year old boy levels of Emo!

Speaking of the chapter "Teenage Worries" ... Whoever thought that talking with kids about why daddy drinks too much soju on weeknights would make them excited about speaking English is a dick splash (my new favourite insult).

Although I mock Simple Plan and Good Charlotte, the students liked them a lot. On the other hand, they seemed to be confused by my video choice for DNA Week - "She Blinded Me With Science" by Thomas Dolby. It was the only thing I could think of that had something to do with science, and I could tell that my students genuinely hated it. If they had such an extensive vocabulary, they probably would have said "This video is old, creepy, incomprehensible, and an all-out assault on my ear drums". I settled for "Boring ..... Next!"

And not a student seemed to care that the poor old man gets thrown in his wheel chair into the river at the end. Some seemed legitimately happy at the sight of what they assumed was his drowning. I couldn't blame them.

One of the five greatest pop artists ever.
If the re-election of George Bush wasn’t enough to

[caption id="attachment_392" align="alignleft" width="116" caption="One of the five greatest pop artists ever."][/caption]

If the re-election of George Bush wasn't enough to prove leaving things up to a public vote never works, the recently announced nominations for Best Act Ever at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards (which I'm assured is a worthwhile, unique addition to the award show roster) has raised more eyebrows than Roger Moore did in his entire stint as James Bond.

Whilst Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears may not be on everybody's list of best artists ever (that's 'ever'!!!), it's the inclusion of someone with a slightly deeper voice that's raised the biggest debate. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, according to MTV watchers of Europe, 80s crooner Rick Astley, is one of the five most spectacular acts to grace the world of pop music.

The reasons for this surge in popularity of the plastic-haired star is of course the frustrating INTERNET phenomenon of 'rickrolling', where an unwitting victim clicks on a link which promises riches, yet ultimately delivers Astley's classic 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. MTV's Richard Godfrey explained the positives of the matter.

“This surprise nomination truly demonstrates that the MTV Europe Music Awards is the most democratically selected awards show there is. Rick's fans have obviously decided that he deserves recognition as a pop icon and no doubt they are determined to make sure he wins on the night".

Keeping on the subject of questionable comebacks, Paris Hilton has found some time in her hectic schedule of being Paris Hilton to record a new song. 'My BFF' is co-written by boyfriend, Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, composers of such songs as 'Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous', a tirade against celebrity culture, referencing how stars even get away with crimes others would spend a suitable amount of time in prison for. The song is coincidentally released on the same day as Paris Hilton's new TV show debuts in the U.S.

After 3 days of Jonas B

After 3 days of Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato we had to switch it up for our weekend concert and see The Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour starring The Maine, Metro Station, Good Charlotte, and Boys like Girls.

To be honnest with you, Lauren and I only went to see Metro Station who we fell in love with as a band awhile ago but had yet to see them live. Dispite they worn't headlining we bought the tickets, Friday came, we headed up to The Grove got lost and missed their set.

The most unfortunate aspect of it, came from the fact that when we did get to The Grove, Metro Station had just begun their set, but we couldn't find any parking since The Grove has parking with Angels Stadium that was hosting a game against the Red Sox and therefore didn't get to see them live because we were stuck outside with no where to park.

So just a little advice, if you ever see a concert at The Grove of Anaheim, make sure to arrive very early if it's also an Angels home game, and don't follow where the usher's tell you to park, there's parking right when you enter that didn't fill up.

Having unfortunatly missed both of The Maine and Metro Station, we were able to work our way to the front for Good Charlotte's set.

Good Charlotte's performance was memorable to say the least. While they haven't been on the scene much lately outside of being in association with Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, they played both favorites and new songs alike.

The best thing to watch in their performance was the high likeness that Joel Madden was intoxicated. Often slurring words, if having not forgotton the words, and rambling on randomly with no point, the crowd with alcohol in hand was laughing right on with him.

Joel actually came on the stage with a cigarette in hand and during his rambling on's inbetween songs with often pick up a clear cup of beer and start drinking.

However despite his interesting behavior the set list was almost flawless. Singing My Bloody Valentine, Girls and Boys, Dance Floor Anthem, The Anthem, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, The River and a few others, for those who arn't fans like myself, we were all able to sing along due to the heavy airplay those songs in particular recieved.

Paris Hilton was also present during their set on a side note. In the first two pictures above you can find Miss Hilton on the right side of the stage wearing a black hat and black tank top to match. While Paris didn't take to the stage, while Joel was talking every chance he could get, the audience's attention would draw to her, watching her take pictures of herself, blow kisses to the crowd, and video tape Good Charlotte on stage as well as the audience. Paris made for a great side show.

After Good Charlotte's set, Lauren and I walked outside for their had been talk that Metro Station would hang out with the fans after the show, and the fact that Lauren and I were unfamiliar with all of Boys Like Girl's songs.

With no luck, we made our way to The Terra Rosa Room, a beautiful lounge full of chandeliers, velvet furniture, and t.v.'s to watch the show more comfortably. After some expensive snacks and drinks we made it inside the main room one more time to watch the final song of Boys like Girls.

Of course the final song was The Great Escape which was played frequently on MTV, and we realized we knew one of their songs but since we didn't have lauren's nice camera in hand, only took one photo of their performance.

Their energy is great, and the audience loved them, but the vocals could use a little more practice before they sound great live like they do on the radio. It came off like Panic! At the Disco's performance at the MTV Video awards two years ago if any comparison should be given.

Since we were in the back of the stage room, we were in the loby quickly, and were able to see John from The Maine. We soon realized that there were many young girls who wanted autographs and so as soon as we took a picture with him we were ready to make our way outside.

John mentioned he was going to be back by the tour busses where they would be hanging out all night, so Lauren and I walked to the back of the Grove by the loading docks and the busses and were able to meet the rest of The Maine, as well as the lead singer from Boys Like Girls.

Flash and dark light didn't help the situation much to the fact that Lauren's camera started to die on us, but we were able to say hello's and take a few pictures, including these amazing shots.

I'm pretty sure poor John had no idea we were taking pictures like this behind him but let's us have a quick laugh.

Overall, it was a fun night. Slighly bummed that we missed Metro Station ( who never came out to greet fans afterwards) but the time spent behind the Grove getting to meet The Maine and Boys like Girls was a lot of fun and definatly made for a worth while evening. The Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour continues on in the States for another month or two, so check out if the tour is coming to an arena near you, it's a memorable experience.

If you happen to have grown up in a musical family, you understand the very unique dynamic of making music with family members. Whether it's harmonizing in the car on a roadtrip or jamming with your little brother in the basement, there is just something...different. Be it genetics and inherited musical talents or just similar upbringings and influences, if you can get along with a family member long enough to collaborate musically, magical things can happen.

Seeing a story on the Veronicas somewhere recently got me wondering. How many not just sibling musicians are there out there (there must be a ton), but how many twin musicians? A lot, it turns out. Here is a sampling.

Lisa and Jessica Origliasso of The Veronicas

Tegan and Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara

Simone and Amadeo Pace of Blonde Redhead

Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte

Sam and Amanda Marchant of Samanda

Jacob and Joshua Miller of Nemesis

Kim and Kelly Deal of The Breeders

Chandra and Leigh Watson of The Watson Twins

Any of you musicians out there jam with your family? Your twin? Tell us your story.

Pokemon Cards: “I Choose You, Screamo Frontman”

Pokemon Cards: “I Choose You, Screamo Frontman”
By: Paul G. Atkinson IV

We all played Pokemon. Well all my friends did. I mean, it was fifth grade; Yo-Yos had just been banned from school – even during recess! – apparently someone had used one as a weapon, but anyway I digress, basically: we needed a new fad, and it became Pokemon.

Everyone I new became addicted, completely consumed by the Pokemon culture: not just by the cards, but by the television show, the videogames, and some even by the cheap t-shirts and Ash Ketchum imitation hats.

Eventually the fad died.

Breaking News: every fad dies. I was luckily enough to cash out early, selling my holographic Charizard for $80 a few weeks before we all found another fire to throw our allowance money into. It might have been WWF action figures.

High school came next and fads became more fashion based and I stopped paying attention to most anything but girls that were out of my league and blink-182 records.

There was not a chance in hell of me getting any girls, so I spent time getting more records, expanding from blink-182 to other pop punk bands: New Found Glory, Sum 41 ect… eventually horrible shit like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan popped up and I moved to the “emo” explosion. I became completely consumed watching television shows on FUSE, buying literal tons of band merch, sporting the tightest jeans ect…

(time passes)

Recently I had an epiphany. An old friend from the days of Pokemon flew down from CT to go to Warped Tour here in FL. We caught up on this and that and moved to discuss the massive pile of bands that are on Warped 2008 this summer.

Talk of bands with music nerds always almost moves to talk of “The Scene.”

“Hey you get the new Alesana album?” Trev might have said.

“Yeah, the screams are getting a little too high pitched, blah, blah, blah…” I might have said.

Anyway, my epiphany was: emo, screamo, whatever-core bands are my new Pokemon cards.

When my buddies and I played with Pokemon cards it started as a competition of collection. Buy. Buy. Buy.

Eventually all our decks had become massive. We had moved from starter packs, to the randomized collections wrapped in foil: hoping to find something rare and elusive. By the time we all had collections big enough for 300 page plastic sleeved binders we realized we could trade with each other.

No more wasted time where we got yet another useless Pikachu card when what we really wanted was a holographic [insert bizarre stupid name here].

All of our collections were of equal quality, so letting a few generic doubles go for the opportunity to grab some new and powerful card was quite the rush.

One big problem eventually arose: we all wanted the same cards. We were all striving for the same perfect line-up to man the front lines of our Pokemon armies.

The next problem was one that no of us expected: we all got what we wanted. When this happened we all got bored and gave it up.

(time passes)

When I got into emo, it was all a competition of collecting the most obscure and unheard of bands. Buy. Buy. Buy.

My record collection became more and more massive. I moved from a 20 Gigabyte iPod to a 40 GB, then the 80 GB came out and just when I filled that one up Apple unveiled the 160 GB!

I started with pop-punk tinged emo like Taking Back Sunday and early Brand New, next was something with a little more attitude, bands with equal parts of singing and screaming mixed in: Dead Poetic and Story of the Year. Then it was a push for more angst, more screaming: only a hefty dose of double bass drum would satisfy my needs, urges, cravings.

Once my collection began to include genres as obscure as Electronic Grindcore, Progressive Emo Core, and [insert bizarre stupid name here] the trading phase came into play. Though, this time around, there was a catch:

No one would trade information about the obscure gems of bands in their treasure troves. No one would give up bands in the line-up of their perfect playlist. Just like Pokemon cards people would only trade doubles.

If you liked Hit The Lights someone might divulge information to turn you on to All Time Low. If you liked Underoath someone might let it slip that you’d certainly enjoy Chiodos. Cute Is What We Aim For fans might be led to listen to The Maine. But that was about it. Bands that had waded into the waters of MTVs radar would be traded for similar bands of the like.

Then a bizarre phenomenon started to happen: the bands started to trade with each other.

All the bands wanted the same sound. They were all striving for the same perfect line-up to get them signed to some trendy label like Rise Records or maybe even an imprint of a Major (which didn’t count as selling out because even though a band might end up signed under somebody like Warner Bros, that company’s logo wouldn’t appear on their CD sleeve).

So frontmen became the new holographic cards.

For example, Dance Gavin Dance kicked frontman and “clean” vocalist Jonny Craig out of the band. The band said that he was a self destructive drug addict, but I read between the lines of that myspace bulletin: Craig was just too bombastic – so DGD grabbed Kurt Travis, the frontman from Five Minute Ride for a more straight forward voice.

Meanwhile, Emarosa’s frontman, Chris Roetter quit to start a Christian Chaotic Metalcore band. Emarosa grabbed Craig’s bombastic voice so they could have less bombastic instrumentation. And when the band’s new album “Relativity” came out, surprise: Craig’s voice was more bombastic than ever while the band’s instrumentation was basically dumbed down background music.

The trading got out of control.

While Escape The Fate’s frontman, Ronnie Radke was on the run from the cops (he basically murdered a guy in gang fight) ETF grabbed blessthefall’s Craig Mabbitt.

From First To Last’s Sonny Moore went solo and stole away Drop Dead, Gorgeous’s keyboardist to create stupid Electronica music. FFTL was left with Matt Good, their backup vocalist/guitarist as their frontman (who did a surprisingly good job on their next record).

Sky Eats Airplane lost their clean vocalist Brack Cantrell, who was 50% of the two piece act. But Lee Duck, the remaining member, grabbed the members of (In Theory) (who recently had their frontman quit) as a backing band and then auditioned for a new frontman for awhile until finally finding Jerry Roush.

Saosin’s frontman, Anthony Green*, quit the band to form Circa Survive. Then Green joined up with the frontman of Chiodos: Craig Owens, and combined with the frontman of Rx Bandits, Matt Embree, to form the frontman supergroup: The Sound Of Animals Fighting. Then Green went on to put out a solo album under his own name while Owens released a solo album under the name Cinematic Sunrise.

*Green had previously spent time fronting Audience Of One, High And Driving, and Jeer At Rome before his endeavor with Saosin.

The Early November’s frontman, Ace Enders, released a solo album under the name: I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business, and I guess he really liked it because shortly after he quit the band to release music under his own name. Jeff Krumer, the band’s drummer, went to become the frontman of Grace Period, who changed their name to Your Sweet Uncertainty and also started some solo work while guitarist Joe Marro went solo with Joseph Marro and the Hum Drum.

As Cites Burn Lost their frontman, and much like FFTL, their guitarist/back-up vocalist had to step up to frontman duties. Say Anthing frontman Max Bemis joined up with Saves The Day frontman Chris Conely to create Two Tongues. Alexisonfire went on a hiatus while frontman Dallas Green started releasing solo albums under the name City & Colour. One of the stupidest things to happen during this trading game was when As I Lay Dying’s frontman, Tim Lambesis, released an Arnold Swarchenegger themed solo album, though I think it was supposed to be ironic, making fun of how stupid solo albums can be.

Since all the bands, like all my friends binders of Pokemon cards, were essentially the same, all the changing really had no effect on any of the bands’ musical output.

Emo started with promise, just as punk did, but originality is running low these days.

(time: the present)

Now I’m sitting here, still stoked for Warped mind you, but wondering if this whole “Scene” is just going to be remembered as a passing fad.

Should I cash out early like I did with Pokemon? Should I try to sell my limited to 100 pressings special colorway “Blowing Chunks” 7” EP by Evergreen Terrace that has two unreleased b-sides (songs I’m yet to even find circulating on the internet) while it still might be worth something? Should I burn my tight pants, eBay all the band merch and signed posters, yell every obscure bands’ name from the top of a mountain for all to know, and cut my hair so I can see out of both my eyes?

I do not have a clue. This is why I’m so distressed.

I’m probably just going to go down with the ship, hang on, burn out on the chariot of fire, and pick up the pieces after “The Scene” has hit rock bottom.

Though, if you find yourself in this same predicament I’m fairly certain that it is not too late for you too save yourself.

A bunch of us were in Atlantic City this weekend to celebrate a good friend's upcoming wedding. After an amazing dinner in the private dining room at The Old Homestead steakhouse, we went off to play at the tables in the Borgata.

I made my way to the high-limit area of the poker room to play 20/40 hold 'em. I had the biggest take of my life that night (five racks of red and a stack and a half of greens)... but this post isn't about that.

After playing for a few hours, the dealers started talking about Paris Hilton coming by... Right when our dealer was saying that she thought it was just a rumor, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden from Good Charlotte appeared. They were seated at the "must move" 20/40 table - the table where people play while waiting to get into the main game I was in. As soon as they were seated, the whole room swarmed the table. Security and management tightened their circle around Paris and Benji, cordoning off the table, threatening to confiscate the cell phones of people trying to get a pic of them...

We had a direct view of the must move table since it's right in front of the main entrance to the high-limit room. I got up from the game and called my buddies to come to the poker room. We just stood there, a few feet away from Paris, looking at the chaos that she had created.

We (the players in the main game) couldn't believe that they were holding Paris and Benji at the must move table - I've got to give credit to The Borgata for not giving them special treatment... A bunch of us were hoping that a few guys would bust out quickly from our table so we could get a crack at the bankrolls of an heiress and a rocker... As it turned out, Paris and Benji busted out before getting a chance to play in the main game.

Not long after they left, we did get a player from the must move table who was seated immediately next to Paris. He said that they both weren't the strongest players, but they were good sports about knowingly giving their money away. He also said that she was pleasant and friendly, but Madden didn't say a word.

This whole episode made me think about how stirred up most of us get over celebrities. I don't think a single one of us in the game was a Paris Hilton fan (and I was the only one who knew who Benji was), but regardless of the prospect of taking all their chips, everyone was genuinely excited about seeing them.

For what it's worth, I'm just glad that it added another little memory for all of us to share from my buddy's bachelor trip.

2002 de çıkardıkları the young and the hopeless isimli albümleri ise avrupayı feth etme niyetiyle piyasaya sürülür. ve 2003 başlarında avrupada da good charlotte "lifestyle of the rich and famous" isimli parçayla kendini kabul ettirir.

I had a rather interesting dinner, so much it was kinda exotic, even so much I used my hands to eat HAHA. A pity I couldn't get good shots of the food, since 1) my phone's batt was low and 2) my mum was nearly tearing all the food apart for me to eat haha don't ask me why she needs to do that; I was busy taking the photos.

So yeah it was a double-carb meal D: Rice and potatoes. And all that funky food (lol), all from the depths of Bugis Junction (haha, literally!)

Slept from 6+ to 8+, and I haven't done any work/studied kill me I think I might not be able to step into HC next year heh.

Excerpts from Good Charlotte - March On

Don’t cry
Open up your eyes and know
There’s someone else out there that feels this way

I’m singing to you
Cause I know what you’ve been through and now
It’s not so long ago I felt the same

Like soldiers
March on
If we can make it through the night will see the sun
March on, march on

Through the good times,
Through the bad times
Through the long days
Through the hard nights
Keep on till we see the sun

Good Charlotte - The River (Ft. M Shadows & Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold)
As I walk through the valley,
of the shadow of LA.
The footsteps that were next to me,
have gone their separate ways.
I've seen enough now,
to know that beautiful things,
don't always stay that way.
I've done enough now,
to know this beautiful place,
isn't everything they say.

I heard that evil comes disguised,
Like a city of angels,
I'm walking towards the light.

Baptized in the river,
I've seen a vision of my life,
And I wanna be delivered.
In the city was a sinner,
I've done a lot of things wrong,
But I swear I'm a believer
Like the prodigal son,
I was out on my own,
Now I'm trying to find my way back home.
Baptized in the river,
I'm delivered.
I'm delivered.

(M. Shadows)
You're from a small town,
you're gonna grow up fast,
underneath these lights.
Down in Hollywood on the boulevard,
the dead come back to life.
To the praying Mother,
The worried Father,
Let your children go.
If they come back they'll come on stronger,
and if they don't you'll know.

They say that evil comes disguised,
Like a city of angels,
I'm walking towards the light.

Baptized in the river,
I've seen a vision of my life,
And I wanna be delivered.
In the city was a sinner,
I've done a lot of things wrong,
But I swear I'm a believer.
Like the prodigal son,
I was out on my own,
Now I'm trying to find my way back home.
Baptized in the river,
I'm delivered.
I'm delivered.

Baptized in the river (on my own).
Baptized in the river (on my own).
I wanna be delivered.
(on my own).
(on my own).
Baptized in the river (on my own).
I wanna be delivered.
Baptized in the river (on my own).
I wanna be delivered.
Baptized in the river (on my own).
I wanna be delivered.
Baptized in the river (on my own).
I wanna be delivered.

I confess I'm a sinner,
I've seen a vision of my life,
And I wanna be delivered.

The lyrics for The River is wow :)

Comme lors de cette session acoustique pour le magazine Spin, avec Sara qui raconte : "Mom once told us that she made out with a girl when she thought than we were gay, I never wanted to know that". Intraduisible, mais drôle.

Depuis, Maman Quin a eu confirmation. Ses jumelles préfèrent les filles.
Alors c'est vrai que des jumeaux chanteurs, il y en a eu quelques uns comme dans Good Charlotte, the Breeders, the Bee Gees ou plus récemment Tokio Hotel.

Mais des jumeaux chanteurs, gays ?

A moins que... The Proclaimers ?

So, I’m downloading a new song for the first time in about 2 months. I have to put it on my

So, I'm downloading a new song for the first time in about 2 months. I have to put it on my ipod after which contains a playlist that hasn't changed since I left Rochester. About time really. I'm sorry what was that? Oh you want to know which song? Oh yes, where are my manners? Its called Seasons by Good Charlotte. At this point I can't really remember how it goes but I do remember liking it so that'll work.

While I wait for this ipod to hurry up and sync up, whats another song I should get. You know I used to have 10,000+ songs, now I only have 103, and I'm having trouble thinking of one to download. Sillyness. (by the way, yes, that was an invitation for everyone who reads this to recommend a song) So.....I'm gonna get (drumroll please):

I don't know

I haven't heard run-around by blues traveller in awhile...I like that one

I love how when i look up run around in limewire the first search result is "run around sexy girl has shaking orgasm during sex"

Okay what else...

So yeah, you guys should recommend some songs...they don't have to be new, they should be good though.

Right okay Seasons, so I thought of all that because I while I've always been equally divided over which season is my favorite, I think Autumn might be taking a lead. I am....oddly excited about it this year. Mainly because it's so fucking gorgeous up here in New Hampshire. Carting off to New York for the past six years most definitely has something to do with it. NY has nothing on NH in terms of Fall Foliage. I'll have my latest sample of web design ready for display soon, it has an Autumn theme to it.

Full moons are really bright. I've definitely been overly conscious of how much light they cast for the past few days.

When I got home tonight it smelled like strawberries outside my house.

Really.

Ipod software is updating....take foreva come on come on.

I'm reading the lyrics to Seasons and starting to wonder whether it was a good idea to download this song.

No point in jumping to conclusions.

Syncing up now.

I have to say I love the lyrics of Run Around, John Popper has got some skillz. The first refrain is clearly the best, wait...is a refrain a chorus...I have no idea, the first set of lyrics before the chorus is the best. Mhm, I know this because I know all the lyrics by heart and if you ever happened to disagree with me over what they were you would find yourself wrong every time, so yeah.

I wish I weren't apple software retarded, I could totally be done with this process by now. Mind you 15 minutes has past since I started. Thats probably a low estimate.

Oh hey all of a sudden I can remember what that seasons song goes like. I'm less excited to hear it now, only kind of though.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day, next week should kick some serious ass as well. Oh fuck I just jinxed it, no point in deleting it.

This really is getting drawn out, I should have used my high speed usb port, I was all like oh it won't take long at all.

Freecell ftw

I lost, because I rushed it.

You lose because you rush, thats the first rule of Halo.

The second rule of Halo is, learn to rush better than the other guy.

The third rule is something like, "Win, or run the risk of inexplicably cursing at the screen which will most likely cause your peers to come over and chide you with the always helpful remarks of 'Dude you need to chill its just a game' because that kind of thing helps."

I was just kidding about losing in freecell. I won.

Omg the ipod is done.

*Listens to Seasons*

I'm not so sure I needed that one.

I still like it though.

“Holy mother of fuck!” is all I have to say.
Okay, let me elaborate.
So all of you have

"Holy mother of fuck!" is all I have to say.

Okay, let me elaborate.

So all of you have a certain band that you were obsessed with when you were sixteen, right? Well, mine is Good Charlotte. I know they have a lot of haters, but whatever. They defined my music taste. They got me into all that "punk" stuff, which slowly evolved into the awesome musical palette I have today. Haha.

Anyway, so any of you who knew me back then, namely Keiko and Pat, know how craaaazy I was about those dudes. The obsession slowly faded, but of course I will always have an affinity for them. Well, imagine my surprise when Joel Madden popped into my dream last night. Man, that brought back all kinds of feelings. Mainly nostalgia. So I put on my favourite GC song (Seasons) and then go on their site.

Lo and behold, there's an update from Billy Martin (I seriously worship this man) saying... Linzi's pregnant and he's going to be a dad! Hence the "holy mother of fuck!" up there.

It shouldn't be a surprise or anything. I mean the dude's happily married. It's just... it's Billy Martin, the guy I chronically obsessed and drooled over for years and years from the band my teenage years were centred around. It sort of destroys your thoughts of how they would stay forever young and perfect in your little bubble of teen memories.

Aaaanyway. This post is entirely dedicated to those years. *Starts singing Jaded by Mest featuring Benji Madden* lol

Okay, so while I'm here, I thought I'd do this...
