Harry Winston is a well-known brand in jewelry but in the watch business as well. Harry Winston's watch tends to look very simple but has a complex watch mechanism behind it and an elegant appearance, which is good. I like Opus 5 but there's something about this new one. Opus 8 looks very different from other Opus models in the series. It has this "digital" look that sets it apart from other Opus. Nonetheless, it still has the fine touch of Harry Winston brand in it.

Oh that is just so sweeeeeeeeeet *squee* both of them are so sweet! LOVE THEM. I like when tetsu said he can't believe that he is getting married. The same goes to all of us! But, I'm very happy they went public with all of this. Rather than a certain couple that don't look and don't wanna look like a couple. *hyde*cough*megumi*cough cough*. The thing is, I really feel that tetsu-ayana is very opposite from hyde-megu. hyde-megu met in the public eye (Utaban) but after that everything seems to be kept carefully under wraps. Leaving us, the fans with endless curiousity. While the tetsu-ayana camp does the exact opposite. The met each other out of the public eye, keep everything under wraps until now. I prefer the tetsu-ayana camp. This way we can actually see that they are happy together (and not speculate). I SUPPORT TETSU-AYANA!!!

I  think it's this ring in the middle (above pic). Since Ayana's ring looks kinda triangle-ish to me. I don't know, that's just me.

La répétition minute joue toutes les heures la célèbre mélodie du carillon de Palais de Wetminster sur 4 notes dont on peut distinguer les timbres qui cerclent le cadran.

Une tendance vue entre autres dans la "DBS de De Bethune" se confirme : enlever le cadran et donner ainsi une vue du mouvement côté ponts, qui sont ici perlés, le logo HW découpé lui dans un pont décoré de Côtes de Genève

On en oublierait presque le tourbillon, une autre complication extrême de l'horlogerie qui trône à 6h de cette merveille.

N'envisageant pas vendre ma maison pour acheter une montre, je ne veux même pas connaitre le prix de l'un des 8 exemplaires qui seront produits ...

Felix Baumgartner d'UrWerk, le concepteur de l'Opus V d' Harray Winston est en train de me prouver qu'on peut innover dans ce domaine toute en restant clair et cohérent. 3 petits cubes portent chacun 4 indications des heures (4x3=12...) et se retrouvent chacun leur tour face à une aiguille des minutes rétrograde qui retombe en face du cube suivant à l'heure pile. Génial !

Espérons que ce concept dépasse la série limitée à 100 exemplaires, et que les prix descendent un peu au dessous de $100'000 ...
