Le registrazioni per il programma inizieranno martedì 2 Settembre a Roma.

Dopo l'esperimento in una puntata fatto con i VIP, ha fatto ben pensare i dirigenti di Italia 1 di farne una striscia quotidiana. Stò parlando del fortunato game show "La ruota della fortuna" che, sempre condotto da Enrico Papi, tornerà dall'8 Settembre su Italia 1.

Papi, dopo il flop di Jackpot, ritenta la fortuna sempre accompagnato dalla bella svedese Victoria Silvestdt.

Il meccanismo del gioco resterà invariato cambieranno solo i concorrenti... non più gente comune ma personaggi del mondo dello spettacolo.

Se "La ruota della fortuna" in versione VIP totalizzerà il grande successo dello scorso anno ancora non lo sappiamo... i presupposti ci sono!

When you look at Zimbabwe’s numbers I think.  Reading an article this week it stated that “Zimbabwe's annual inflation rate soared to 11.2 million percent in June” quoted the state media. HOW is that possible? Here we sit in Britain, and we are complaining about 4.6%, and everyone losing their jobs and the state of the economy, and teh credit crunch.  What do those poor Zimbabweans do?

Not only that, but they state that it gained 9 035 045.5 percentage points from the May rate of 2 233 713.4 percent. How does someone actually measure that.

Here is a map of world inflation rates. Note, Zimbabwe is in the +10 range because I don’t think they knew how to depict +11,000,000!

So, when does one intervene in situations like this, isn’t this the reason for the G8 countries (and I think they named the G8 because they wanted to call themselves GR8 really, but knew how naff that would sound...)?

So, if I equate that to Bingo tickets, then today’s 1p would cost £ 22 337.13 in May....and in June would cost
£ 11 268 758.00 per ticket.  That’s if my maths is right - Ouch! I wonder what the bingo bonus payouts would have to be to make that work. The Jackpots would be worth playing perhaps?

Wow, imagine how much you’d have to win to be able to pay for a bingo ticket in June given these numbers!

It's fun, and effectively it's a 54 - ball bingo game. That has to narrow the odds of winning hey? Added to that, it's a Jackpot game, so there are bigger prizes to be won.

I like the idea that there are only 54 cards in  the deck, and the bigger jackpot, and so I played last night and had a bit of fun. Didn't actually have much time, so only two games, but it doesn't feel so much like bingo, and it seems to be quicker.

Angelina Jolie’s Wanted character will be spoofed by Carmen Electra in the upcoming satire flick Disaster Movie.

“When we shot the scene, the movie wasn’t even out yet. We literally just watched one scene in the trailer and sort of spoofed that,” Electra, 36, explained to Usmagazine.com at the Hard Rock Hotel during Comic Con in San Diego, CA last Saturday.

The actress says she’s not concerned about Jolie’s reaction because it’s “not anything personal.

“It was more about the bullet and sort of bending it the way her character did,” Electra added.

Co-star Kim Kardashian thinks Jolie will approve.

“She’s going to think it’s hot, because Carmen looks hot, and did it justice,” Kardashian, 27, told Us. “It’s all good.”

Kardashian, for her part, spoofs High School Musical.

“I guess it might have been Vanessa Hudgens‘ character, but I don’t really know who I was because I haven’t seen the movie,” she admitted.

“I do love all the High School Musical girls – They are all adorable,” she said. “My little sisters have seen the movie dozens of times.”

The two actresses told Us they had a blast working together.

“It was kind of weird because we met and then all of a sudden we had to get into the ring and fight,” Electra said.

Added Kardashian, “And when Carmen would pull my hair she kept asking, ‘Are you all right? Did I hurt you?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah I’m okay.’”
