HRH Princess Sirivannavari of Thailand, who designs under her first name, showed a collection which she described as a mix between Hard Rock and ethnic influences of her home country. Vivid in colours I saw a medley of flowy fuchsia, turquoise and yellow crêpes alternating with black leather pieces, thus achieving a certain Rock ‘n‘Roll edge. 
Another theme seemed to be the decor: appliqued fringes and silk cords, mirror shivers and Swarovski beads. With all that passements she was showing, one wonders whether she wasn‘t referencing the omnipresent Thai military protecting HRH crown prince Maha Vajralongkorn and his third wife HRH princess Srirasmi, who attended the show.

Anne Valérie Hash

Anne Valérie Hash seems to be moving away from her usual deconstructive way of working towards a softer, maybe more feminine silhouette. Loosely fitted jumpsuits and cocktail dresses following strict and simple lines contrasted with more architectural tweed-jackets that strongly accentuated the shoulders. As she stays loyal to her beloved neutrals, she hits the nail on its head this season, especially with the white series. The only exception were a couple of short silk dresses with blurred multicolour patterns. Some more conceptual pieces included work with chain mail- A reference to the armour every woman needs in these hasty and competitive times? 

Bruno Pieters

Belgian-born designer Bruno Pieters showed a very austere collection in the Maison de Metallos that he dedicated to Pierre Cardin. Referencing to what Cardin had stood for in the sixties, Pieters showed a futuristic and very tailored silhouette, maybe only rougher. 

Armoured Amazons marched down the runway in shades of white, black and grey. Very accentuated shoulders and geometrical shapes created a strong statement and you need as strong a personality to carry these pieces off.

Marlies Dekkers

At the Palais du Tokyo, Marlies Dekkers showed her new lingerie collection, a true love story . The venue that had been artificially transformed into a beautiful baroque garden played host to a number of A list celebrities such as Mischa Barton, Usher, Solange Knowles and Cathy and David Guetta. 

The collection started off with several innocent white pieces, followed by strong colors, then a powerful red, building up towards a kinky black finale. Surreal accessories gave the wearable collection an interesting twist. Marlies stated that for her the most important aspect of lingerie is comfort. 

Afterwards we all went to the fabulous after party at Le Baron, where the trendy, the well established and the up and coming partied until the early morning hours.

 I think Kelly must love it abroad.  I wonder when she is coming back.  She addressed rumors of Destiny's Child reuniting and her focus on her solo career:

And despite rumours of a reunion with her Destiny’s Child bandmates – Beyonce and Michelle Williams – she said she was happy concentrating on her solo career at the moment. But she did not rule out the chance of the group reforming altogether.

“We support each other and we have our individual solo careers,” she said. “But who knows if we will get back together in the future.

“At the moment I’m very excited about working on my new album and then plan to go on tour.”

And would the singer include the West Midlands in her tour dates?

“Of course I will. I love Birmingham, it’s a brilliant place,” said Kelly. The singer currently divides her time between London and Miami.

When asked if she would consider a move to Birmingham, she laughed: “I’m based in London for part of my time, but I suppose I do need to have a look around.”

Kelly admits she is a follower of a fashion and has just returned from Milan Fashion Week.

“I only got back from Milan yesterday and I had a fantastic time. I spotted some great outfits, a lot of colourful creations. They were fabulous,” she said.

Kelly Rowland was clad down in an interesting designer number, which complimented her shape pretty well during a Roberto Cavalli show over in Milan. Kelly is over in Milan for fashion week. While over in Italy perhaps Ms. Rowland is picking up much needed fans that might in turn purchase her albums. Are you feeling any of Kelly's outfits?

Eat! I love eating at this amazing restaurant—it’s a hotel, actually. The Bulgari.

You should have a spa treatment while you’re there—the spa is amazing.

John was pictured @ MTV's TRL on Wednesday in NYC. John is rocking a hot brown/caramel leather bomber, with a simple white tee and jeans. Good look John! 

*Sigh*...Niecy Nash was at an event to promote her new FOX series “Do Not Disturb”. Although, Niecy is a beautiful woman, she needs to give the "flower on the side of her head" business a rest. The wide-leg, high-waisted jeans are not flattering and they look like Mom Jeans. Haven't we been watching Project Runway?? Get it together Niecy.... 

Kelly Rowland attended The Ripley’s Believe it or Not Red Hot Carpet Gala, which took place at the Trocadero Centre in London. Now, we love us some Kelly but...the skin toned heels was not a good look with this number. Although, we don't care too much for the one-sie mini dress, she could have spiced it up a bit with more color. Next time, play with the heels a bit more Kelly and put on a different top underneath the one-piece shirt dress, along with a nice custom wide-belt. Love ya!

Aunt Viv, was spotted at Samsung Imagination Icon’s Series Premiere Event honoring designer Valentino Garavani.  Pink Fedora's are not the business Auntie! We are not sure who's boutique owner from your church, but you should not visit her anymore. Just pay your tithes and leave the rest to Jesus! And is that jumper made out of sequence?? On August 31st, Nike is hosting the Nike+ Human Race, the world’s largest one-day running event, to celebrate the power of sport and music and to give back to society. The race is being held in 25 cities around the world starting in Taipei and ending in Los Angeles. For all the lucky participants in L.A., Kanye West is set to perform in the post race concert as part of the grand finale performance.

“I’m hitting the stage in Los Angeles for the Nike+ Human Race, Nike’s dopest 10k run ever. This race is bringing together hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to run and listen to some great music while serving a higher cause, and I’m excited to perform in L.A. as part of the grand finale,” said West.

Other great artists and musicians are also joining the cause in other cities such as Moby in London, All-American Rejects in New York, Fall Out Boy in Chicago, Kelly Rowland in Paris, The Pinker Tones in Madrid, Turkish pop sensation Kenan Dogulu in Istanbul, the Fantastic Four in Munich, Beijing-based singing duo Yu Quan in Shanghai, and American rock band Boys Like Girls in Singapore.

All the people will be running for a worthy cause and support Nike+ Human Race’s charitable partners including the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the WWF, and the UN Refugee agency’s ninemillion.org campaign.
