Kidman already has two children, but both were adopted

Nicole Kidman has credited a waterfall with bringing about a flurry of pregnancies - including her own - on the set of one of her films, Australia.

The actress said seven babies had been conceived during production of the film in a small town in Australia's outback.

"There is something up there in the Kununurra water", in which she and six other woman swam, she told The Australian Women's Weekly.

Kidman, 41, gave birth to her third child, Sunday Rose, in July.

She is married to country music singer Keith Urban and has two children - both adopted - from her previous relationship with fellow star Tom Cruise.

'Fertility waters'

Kidman filmed Australia, directed by Baz Luhrmann, in Kununurra, a small town in the far north of the state of Western Australia.

"I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie," she said in the interview.

"Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy. The new family flew into Sydney tonight with a small group of media to greet them.

A Ten Network report tonight showed the happy couple disembarking from a private plane at Sydney airport with little Sunday Rose bundled up tightly in a white shawl in her mother's arms, with Urban close behind.

در قسمت دوم این سلسله مطالب از زندگی نامه نیکول کیدمن بازیگر بکر منسب به استرالیایی , به کش و قوس میان نیکول و تام کروز رسیدیم . دوره ای که نیکول با نقش آفرینی های خود در فیلم های روز توانست قدرت بازی گری خود را به جهان اثبات کند .

اما پس از این دوران نیکول تصمیم به بازی در فیلم " استنلی کوبریک " یکی از بزرگترین فیلم سازان هالیوود میگیرد . این در حالیست که تام کروز را نیز همراه خود وارد " چشم های کاملا بسته " میکند. بازی در فیلم کوبریک برای نیکول دریچه ای نو را در بازیگری گشود و دستاورد های خوبی در مهارت ها داشت .  پس از این ماجرا اگر به یاد داشته باشید نیکول در فیلم " صلح ساز " در نقش جولیا کلی که یک متخصص سلاح های هسته ای است بازی میکند وی در این فیلم ماموریت داشت تا بمب های هسته ای قاچاق شده را کشف کند. پس از این فیلم هیجان بر انگیز وی تنوع فوق العاده ای به نقش بعدی خود میدهد و در یک فیلم کمدی بنام " جادوی عملی " در کنار " ساندرا بولاک " ظاهر میشود و بلافاصله پس از این که فیلم برداری طولانی مدت و پر کش و قوس چشمان بسته به پایان رسید , تئاتر های لندن و برادوی را با بازی در " اتاق آبی " به کارگردانی " سام مندس" به مرز انفجار رساند .

چشمان کاملا بسته در ان زمان به دلیل خسته کننده بودن مورد نقد قرار گرفت اما ویژگی دیگری موجب شد تا تبدیل به یکی از بهترین فیلم های کوبریک شود . در این فیلم نیکول و کروز در نقش یک زوج پزشک به ظاهر موفق هستند که فکر خیانت هر دوی آنها را آزار میدهد.کوبریک در تمام مدت فیلم برداری طولانی مدت فیلم ، فشار عصبی زیادی را به بازیگران تحمیل نمود نکته ای که برای من بسیار جالب است اینست که وی اجازه تولید خبر و مصاحبه را نیز از بازیگران گرفته بود !

از این ماجرا ها که بگذریم در دوره ای هستیم که این زوج ( نیکول و کروز ) هم اکنون صاحب دو فرزند (ایزابلا جین و کنور آنتونی) هستند هستند و زندگی انها به گونه ای است که نیکول در مصاحبه ای گفت : من احساس خوشبختی میکنم , چرا که کسی را پیدا نموده ام که به من حس آرامش داده و در کنارم  میماند ....

متاسفانه این اظهار خوشحالی دیری نپایید و اختلافات بر زندگی این دو هنر مند دامن زد و تام کروز و نیکول کیدمن معروف در فوریه 2001 از هم جدا شدند . 

قبل از جدایی نیکول در تریلر ترسناک "دیگران " ساخته " الخاندرو آمنابار "  که صدا و سیما نیز انرا پخش نمود ظاهر شد . در این فیلم کروز نیز به عنوان یکی از تهیه کنندگان حضور داشت . فیلم  آرام سورالی   که به با محتوای سرد خود به طرز مرگ باری ساکت بود.نیکول در این فیلم با بازی خارق العاده خود در نقش یک مادر جوان که در عمارتی ییلاقی زندگی میکنند , عملا نشان میدهد که توانسته به یک بازی بی نظیر و عالی در این فضای وهم آلود و مرگ بار دست پیدا کند . این فیلم که کاملا وحشت آور است برای شخص خودم در ایتدا بسیار وهم الود بود طوری که در اولین تماشا بسختی توانستم انتهای فیلم را حدس بزنم . این فیلم یکی از بهترین فیلم های ترسناک سال های اخیر نیز شناخته شد .  اما و اما !!!!! این راز همچنان پنهان ماند که چرا نیکول با وجود بازی بکر خود در این فیلم همچنان کاندیدای جایزه ی اسکار نشد !!!!

نیکول کیدمن با کاندیدا شدن برای موزیکال " مولن روژ" ساخته "باز لورمن " اندکی تسلی یافت . در این فیلم  وی نقش یک خواننده محبوب را بازی میکند  (بنام سانتین ) که قرار است با یک اشراف ززاده ثروتمند ازدواج کند اما دل به یک شاعذ و نمایشنامه نویس فقیر میبندد . ... او در این فیلم به خاطر رقص های پر تنش با " ایوان مک گرگور" تا مرز آسیب زانو نیز پیش رفت که کمی ادامه تولید فیلم را به تاخیر انداخت .وی به خاطر عدم فرصت برای استراحت نقش خود را در " اتاق من " نیز به " جودی فاستر " سپرد .

اما اینجا نوبت به بزرگترین موفقیت نیکول کیدمن با بازی در فیلم " ساعت ها " میرسد . این فیلم که اقتباسی از رمان تحسین برانگیز " استیون دالدری " بود , با نقش نویسندی صاحب نام انگلیسی " ویرجینیا وولف " و در کنار بازیگران بزرگی چون " مریل استریپ " و " جولین مور " ظاهر شد.کیدمن در این فیلم شروع به تحقیقات گسترده در زمینه زندگی وولف کرد و برای انکه هر چه بیشتر در قالب او فرو رود  , نوشتن با دست راست را نیز آموخت !!!دقت کنید که نیکول کیدمن چپ دست است . صحبت کردن با لهجه انگلیسی و حتی سیگار کشیدن و حرکات خاص وولف را تمرین کرد و در نهایت توانست نقش بسیار تاثیر گزار , عمیق و درونگرایی را از این نویسنده بزرگ ارائه دهد و جایزه بهترین بازیگر زن اسکار را به دست اورد .

 کسب جایزه اسکار که بزرگترین جایزه عالم سینماست باعث شد نیکول کیدمن از ازیر سایه ی سنگین شوهر سابقش تام کروز به طور کامل خارج شده و به عنوان یک بازیگر توانمند در هالیوود و جهان شناخته شود و با وسواس بیشتری نقش ها را بپذیرد !  این در حالیست که در مصاحبه ها و نظرات خود اعلام داشته که قصد دارد تا با بازی در فیلم های موفق و کار با کارگردانان مطرح جایگاه خود را حفظ کند .... هم اکنون وی از جمله برترین بازیگران هالیوود است که نقش های او مورد توجه منتقدان مطرح است .

اخرین فیلم نیکول تا انجا که اطلاع دارم " مترجم " است که در کنار " شون پن " بازی کرد . او غیر از بازیگری بکر خود از یک جهت دیگر نیز در هالیوود استثناست و ان اینکه , او بر خلاف سایر بازیگران خود را از جنجال مطبوعات و خبرنگاران به دور کرده است ! و با فرزندان خود زندگی ارامی را دنبال میکند . برای نیکول کیدمن خانواده بسیار با ارزش است و او به همین خاطر با هوشمندی تمام خود را از لیست سوژه ای مطبوعات نجات داده و به ارامی و با دقت در عرصه سینما حضور دارد و هر روز به موفقیت های تازه ای دست میابد .

WHOA. On one hand, I can understand the need for a celebrity to want to sell the photos. Maybe it'll cool off the paparazzi, meaning, they wont be hounded for baby pics if they're already out there. On the other hand, I don't know. The exclusive first photos will be shared, and the public will see them but I'm sure the candid ones are the ones that will be sought for. The ones where they are hounded walking down the street or coming out of their car. Those are the ones that people want to see. The NORMAL photographs. And, it wont be People or OK! photographers getting those. Then comes the question about why. I cant help but wonder why celeb parents are asking or accepting such high offers? Is this not exploitation of their children? Yes, no? I remember reading once, how Christina Aguilera was upset and disappointed at the low sales of her People cover with her newborn, Max.

Although there's always been a nascent interest in the spawn of the rich and famous, the real baby boom has taken place more recently. "In the last few years the public has been increasingly interested in every aspect of celebrities and their lives," Dina Sansing, Us Weekly's entertainment director, said. "It's not just about seeing stars in movies or on television shows, we want to see them in the grocery store, shopping for clothes and playing with their children."

"Now more than ever, we want our celebrities to be real and think of them as family," noted Rob Shuter, executive editor of OK! magazine.

Are we REALLY that interested in seeing celebrities as "normal" people? (People, by the way, whom I just call ones like me, but with a fatter savings account.) Even if it means them having to sell photos of their privileged offspring for millions of dollars? I admit. I'm guilty. Personally, I don't really buy People magazine but I bought it when I saw the gorgeous Ms. Aguilera on the cover with baby, Max. Same with Nicole Richie and her baby girl (who is UBER-cute, by the way.) And I also admit to perusing Perez Hilton.com the other day to catch flix of Jamie Lyn Spears' baby. I just like babies. Sue me. But I really have a problem with these ALREADY rich celebrities capitalizing on nothing more than the product of their fucking. Harsh? Maybe. But if this is the trend nowadays, I think that since these children will have a silver spoon in their mouth, a trust fund and access to the best shit whatever shit that may be, how about their parents do some good and give the money to charity? I've heard tell of a few doing that, though at the moment no names come to mind BUT not ALL celebs are evil, right? Some still have souls and hearts, right?

UPDATE: Nicole Kidman has opted out of selling photos of her daughter, Sunday Rose. She has turned down many lucrative offers and I just want to say GOOD FOR HER. But this comes as no surprise to me. She and Tom Cruise are known for suing the media and tabloids over false stories and reports and giving the money won in a settlement to charity.

The two proud parents got married in June 2006. Kidman has 2 children with former husband Tom Cruise. Cruise and Kidman got divorced after 10 years of marriage.

Kidman and Urban are professional in the careers they've chosen. Kidman won an Oscar in 2002 for her role in "The Hours" while Urban won a Grammy as Best Male Country Local in 2006.

Perhaps tired from the labour or confused about time zones, they named the six-pound, 7 1/2 ounce girl Sunday (Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, to be exact).

The news of the birth in Nashville, where the Australian born and raised couple have a home, was announced by Urban's publicist Paul Freundlich in an email to the Associated Press.
