Also, Todd Palin's former business partner, Scott Richter, learned yesterday (September 4) that his emergency motion (filed 9/3/08) to seal his divorce records has been denied. 

The Palins also own a couple of apparently undeveloped properties up on Safari Lake [map]. These are owned in partnership with Scott A. Richter, a friend of the first family.

Also, Todd Palin was technically not Sarah’s first or maybe I should say her only Dude. The press or a blog mentioned a former boyfriend of hers by the name of Scott Richter. There could, I suppose, be another scandal brewing relative to him and his ex-wife, Debbie as well. It all depends how far back the liberals want to dig.

The Palins also have a number of real estate holdings in Big Lake, AK co-owned by Debbie and Scott Richter. The properties are organied as "Richter Investments LLC." The Richters also own a portion of the Palins residence in Wasila... (Assuming the Palins live rent free right now in the Governors' Mansion in Juneau).

Interestingly, Debbie Richter was Palin's campaign treasurer. Richter was awarded a job as the Director of the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend Division for her service. For those who don't know, the State of Alaska gives its citizens "free money" checks every year out of this fund. This "free money" comes from oil royalties collected and investments. The Fund is currently worth $35 billion.

Would you choose the Governor's campaign treasurer - and property co-owner - to honestly hand out oil royalties? Under her leadership in 2006, all Permanent Fund claims from residents (you have to make a claim for your check) were lost in a computer data entry failure...

There is no such state policy. Even if there were, Debbie Richter was not Bitney's co-worker. He worked in the Governor's Office in the Capitol Building and she works in the Dept. of Revenue in another office building. This was not a matter of any state policy being breached. This is an incident right out of high school--"You're seeing my ex-girlfriend and me and my gang will get you." The Palins decided to go after Bitney because Scott Richter, Todd's friend and Sarah's ex-boyfriend asked them to. Richter is also a business partner with the Palins in investment property in the Mat-Su Valley. The Palins and Scott Richter would not let it go after John Bitney was hired by Rep. Harris. Richter wanted him fired from his new job and the Palins tried to apply pressure to make this happen. They underestimated Rep. Harris who is tough and honorable--qualities foreign to the Palins. This tawdry affair should sicken Alaskans who care about their State. We elected an individual with no moral compass, no education, no background, no experience, just a blinding need to be the most popular girl in school. "Cute" can only take you so far then the veneer starts to peel.

this is from a blogger on the Frontiersman and I thought it perfectly descibed Miss Sarah: "I have known Sarah as long as many who have see her in action as mayor. It is disturbing that over the years her behavior and reaction to trouble and crisis is the same..... (1)FIRST, make yourself a savior and reformer (2) NEXT, bully and control those who do not comply (3) LASTLY, cry "victim" and deflect blame to other people when caught in a lie." Folks...that pretty much sums Sarah up---think back over the last year and a half---she reacts this very same way every time someone pressures her. Classic. Seems like some sort of character flaw. She really should resign...this really is not going to get any better for any of us as she will just never, ever admit even to a tiny mistake. Remember what her dad said about her in the new "Sarah" book...regarding her STUBBORN streak and that once she made up her mind, NO ONE could get her to change her mind.

I actually heard this around the time Palin announced she was 7 months along. So...where has Bristol been? Heard she was living with Sarah's sister. Of course they will keep this quiet--they are the "perfect little family"

The rumor I heard was that Bristol has already delivered, and Sarah is passing the baby off as her own. Wow. Where do these rumors start? That particular rumor is so completely far-fetched, but at the same time not out of the realm of possibilities. Especially for someone who is adept at cover-ups. If it is true, it would certainly explain why she never mentioned her pregnancy until she was 7 months along, and it would explain her actions (or lack thereof) in Texas when her water broke. Once your water breaks, infection can occur. An at-risk baby is already fighting certain odds, why do something that could endanger your child's life before he is even born? That in itself showed seriously poor judgement on Todd and Sarah's part.

I've heard this rumor for the past month or so; but I don't believe it because I can't imagine Sarah would keep her V.P. hopes alive with her daughter potentially expecting. This would have come out in a vetting process and McCain wouldn't have come near such a private, sensitve subject. And Sarah wouldn't have continued to let Elephant Man (her 21 year old "So-In-Awe-Of-A-Possible-Palin-Presidency" Adam, the misguided idealist promoter in Colorado) and the ever-present-on-every-single-blog-about-possible-vice-presidents in the blogoshere universe, TED, a retired poly sci professor in MA,keep spending 20 hours a day trying to promote her. I can't believe Sarah's 17 year old daughter is expecting a baby - because Sarah would have had to have known her chances for a spot as V.P. would be non-existent. She will be well served if humility and prudence become her travelling partners. Adam - idealism is wonderful - but only through the lens of the truth. Much of what you have been promoting is a mirage. I wish you well in your future endeavors in D.C. Ted - you're an idealist, too, obviously (pragmatists are not drawn to Sarah - all the constant emotional roller-coastering is off-putting to them); but you're older. I would have hoped in your journey you would have learned these lessons already. Perhaps we should lay the blame at the feet of the editors and television producers who promoted the idea of Sarah rather than simply the person of Sarah.

Minato's adventure continues. As the last episode ended with them flying to the moon, this episode start with Minato and Musubi falling down in the backyard of Izumo Inn which becomes their new home. If you remove the fighting part, this could become Love Hina with more oppai (breasts in Japanese).

First they meet is Miya Asami. The owner of the inn. Unknown to Minato and Musubi, she is also Sekirei #1.

Hints of her being #1: You sure can see her power since she can block Musubi's punch. She has that scary aura and that mother-like attitude =p. Although she ain't number 1 if you look at her sizes which are 87-56-87.

Shown in the start of the episode is Sekirei #3 Kazehana. Trivia: She is the Oppai Sekirei Queen with the stats of 98-60-92. She has the biggest boobs among all Sekireis. And since they made Musubi's breasts in the anime so big, Kazehana gets humongous tits (it would be an insult to just call those lovely mountains chest or breasts). Look! They are like exploding bombs.

They also meet Kagari who is a guy staying at the Izumo Inn but also known as

Homura - the guardian of Sekireis. Though this is his title, he is Sekirei #6.

Also, a tenant in the inn is Uzume who is Sekirei #10. She looks way hotter in the anime. And with those tits, she is in 3rd place, just behind Musubi with 95-57-90.

And lurking somewhere in Izumo Inn is Matsu, the genius Sekirei #2. Although not seen yet, she has a wonderful figure of 95-59-91 tied in 3rd place with Uzume in terms of tit size.

Tsukiumi - Sekirei #9 with sizes 94-57-88 also appeared in this episode.

Whoa. Got carried away. Aside from breasts, others have made their appearance. First is Kusano - Sekirei #108. Don't ask her stats. She seems the only loli in 108 sekireis.

Other Ashikabi have made their appearance. On the right is Seo, the ashikabi of the lightning sekireis in the first ep. The one on the left is someone strong, you know by the look. But I forgot the name.

The lovely sister of Minato is also here. Why does a loser like him have a sister like her?!

And finally, a dose of Musubi-chan's body which measures 97-58-89.

Too bad nipples ain't show in the anime unlike the manga. But this tit dosage sure is enough to give some healthy boys a boner.

The ending animation and song is now featured in this episode.  The song it fun but the opening song is the one that stays in my head. With just 26 episodes and the ending animation, it seems that this will end after Tsukiumi becomes Minato's sekirei.

*sigh* I need to wait another week for my oppai dosage. And thanks to wikipedia for the tit info.

東島:神秘小海灣+戰備古道 下次!

I can tell you that Mazu (Matsu) is a goddess associated with the sea - she is a protector of sailors, fisherman, and other people who have a connection to the sea. Because Taiwan is an island nation, there are thousands of temples dedicated (in whole or in part) to Mazu. This particular temple is just down the street from the Guan Gong Temple I discussed in the last post and was built around 1830.

Just outside the Guan Gong Temple, there is a sign with directions attached for tourist attractions. I walked down Lane 227, which is also known as Fortune Teller's Alley (there are Feng Shui masters still at work here, their shops are pictured above), and headed to the Mazu Temple.

Outside the temple, someone had set up a little food stand. I was too hot to think about eating, so I didn't check out what he was offering. Just to the left of the food stand/entrance to the temple, some women were burning ghost money (that gold paper you saw in the last post). I read somewhere online that there is a movement to burn virtual ghost money, as burning the actual money is bad for the environment, especially during the Ghost Festival when a lot is being burned, but there is a lot of resistance to this idea. I'm not surprised. Can you imagine going camping and having a picture of a fire on your laptop, instead of the real thing?

I find that I'm continually amazed, not just with the attention to detail in these temples, but with the sheer variety of artwork represented.

This particular temple has some gorgeous murals throughout.

The DIY (do it yourself) culture is alive and well here in Taiwan - even at the temples!

These bells were near the entrance of the main temple.

and in one of the smaller temples, there were many sculptures of animals. Again, the sheer diversity of materials and subjects amazes me.

This particular statue was in the temple that was dedicated to babies and families. I don't know her name, but I really enjoyed her. There were two statues of her, one facing the other. It took me nine tries to get this shot. I'm pretty sure she kept moving. ;)

These were all in the same temple (within the Mazu temple). I'm pretty sure that the hen was in this one as well.

Per postres, aneu al gra i opteu pel mochi, un típic pastisset japonès. Si hi aneu dues persones, és recomanable menjar a la barra, on podreu comprovar com els cuiners preparen tots els plats. És un magnífic lloc per fer perdre la virginitat a algú que no ha anat mai a un japonès. Si domines quatre conceptes d'aquesta gastronomia i els expliques mentre hi mengeu, quedaràs molt bé. Llàstima que sigui tan incòmode com una cova i que costi tant trobar-hi taula. Ens van fer una grandíssima putada quan van suprimir el menú del migdia. És al carrer de Sagristants, número 5, de Barcelona, a tocar de la Catedral.

Matsu: El millor japonès de Sant Cugat. Si no sabeu què demanar, deixeu-vos recomanar pel servei. És una bona tria compartir alguns menús que ofereixen amb qui hi hagis anat a sopar. El lloc, còmode i agradable, és ideal per a un tête à tête. No he encertat mai les postres. Compte: si hi aneu en cotxe, aparqueu correctament. La policia de Sant Cugat té l'afició de posar multes per aquella zona.

Sakura-Ya: És la barra japonesa de l'Illa Diagonal. Bon sushi i sashimi. Tenen bons plats de pollastres, arròs i pasta. És difícil no encertar-hi un bon plat. Si demaneu cervesa, opteu per les nostres marques. Et claven per les cerveses japoneses i, crec jo, més val destinar aquests diners a tastar altres plats. Problema: si vols menjar-hi, t'has d'adaptar a l'horari comercial de l'Illa. És complicat trobar-hi lloc a l'hora de dinar. Això sí, podeu emportar-vos el menjar i fer la festa a casa.

Una mica de Japó: Petita barra japonesa de Barcelona. No hi aneu, si hi busqueu sushi o sashimi, perquè no en tenen. Hi ofereixen plats casolans basats, bàsicament, en arròs i altres productes com la vedella. Deixeu-vos recomanar per la mestressa. Si no sabeu què demanar, opteu pel plat del dia, on combinen arròs i altres productes per uns 10 euros. Les postres, molt fluixetes. Als baixos del carrer de Muntaner, 114.

Recomanació final: si voleu gaudir d'un restaurant japonès, fugiu corrents d'aquells llocs que us ofereixin bufet lliure per 10 euros. Solen ser antics restaurants xinesos que s'han reconvertit en presumptes japonesos per intentar sobreviure. Que no us prenguin el pèl: és impossible oferir per aquest preu productes de qualitat com, per exemple, el peix, ingredient indispensable en la gastronomia japonesa. Si no és qüestió de vida o mort, més val buscar-se un altre lloc.

A/N: I'll be the first to admit it: Sakaki is a messed-up guy. However, as a friend of mine has said, "In order to understand the machinations one must first understand the evil behind them." Therefore, I've decided to write a short fic about Sakaki and why he's so evil in the series.

He does these things because he wants power. Any amount of power is fine, but he knows he'll want more anyway. So he lusts after it online, where he is Sakaki, one of the Seven Council of Moon Tree.

At first, he was content to sit patiently, waiting out his turn in meetings and responsibly managing things so that Zelkova might praise him for doing a good job. Of course, as the weeks and months drag by, Sakaki grows bored with this scheme. The rythymic, sultry melody of power draws him in and makes him bold. He begins to gather support, his staunchest supporters being Matsu, Hiiragi, Sophora, and even an important lower-ranked member, Atoli. She has the stirrings of a strange power within her, he knows; it is one he cannot understand but he is nevertheless drawn to it.

That is when he is presented with a unique opportunity - AIDA. The ten-year-old boy behind the PC 'Sakaki' knows that it's evil, knows that it's wrong, and yet... He uses it anyway. In order to become the ultimate god of 'The World', he has to have ultimate power. It's child's play, he thinks. And it really is; follow the script here, threaten Epitaph Users there, frighten the general, oblivious public a little and then portray yourself as the saviour... Child's play.

The pieces fall together and he finally does what he feels he should have done months ago; overthrow the damn brat at the top of Moon Tree. He turns it into an AIDA server, convinced that it will make him stronger. He abuses Atoli's trust in him by making her his first victim, and then she in turn makes Zelkova nothing more than what he's sure is a stream of scattered data and a comatose player.

He wants to be recognised and admired by everyone, no matter who. It doesn't help that his parents hardly ever looked at him or acknowledged him, even before he took up 'The World'. Some days he wonders about the power of AIDA if unleashed in the real world; he could be a ruler of the overall world. He thinks his parents might pay attention to him then; if not, he would force them to, and they would love him and look at him with adoration sparkling in their eyes. So he accepts the power as it comes faster and stronger, even while planting AIDA in the newly-awakened Atoli so that she will help him overthrow the other Epitaph Users. When it doesn't work, he infects himself... and the one pulling all the strings eventually agrees with him and teaches him to control the virus in order to make him stronger.

Later, he faces off against Haseo and winds up with a blade through the virtual chest. He wants to scream at the top of his lungs in frustration; pawns aren't supposed to have any independent will, but Endrance apparently does, more or less controlled by his overt obsession with the 'Terror of Death'. He stands up to Sakaki, and with his help, Haseo utterly crushes the power-crazed AIDA-PC. When he falls into an Outer Dungeon, he encounters his benefactor, Ovan - but when he begs the strange man for another chance, he is discarded and left as scraps for the Azure Knights.

Before he falls into a coma, his last thought isn't about how Kite is hovering over him, about to destroy him. It isn't about AIDA, or Ovan's betrayal, or his ambitions. Instead, he chooses to recall a picture. It is an old picture, as old as he is, and it is rather simple; a baby in his mother's arms as she gazes adoringly at him and he reaches up to her. The picture is of Tooru - Sakaki - and it is the last thing he sees before he closes his eyes.

Matsu, alias Lin Mo, une fille de marin qui vécut au 10ème siècle. On la trouvait souvent, le long des côtes, vêtue de rouge, guidant les bateaux vers le port lors des tempêtes. L'histoire raconte qu'elle fut emportée lors d'une nuit orageuse, en tentant de sauver un marin. A sa mort, c'est tout le littoral qui lui rendit hommage en érigeant des temples depuis la Chine et Taïwan jusqu'à Singapour et au Japon.

Rien que sur l'ancienne Formose, plus de 500 temples et même un petit lopin de terre en face l'île lui sont dédiés. Lors du festival annuel, des milliers de pélerins munis d'offrandes escortent une statue de la déesse sur quelques 280 km, au son des drums et des gongs. Durant neuf jours et neuf nuits, Matsu est vénérée. La belle et noire Matsu, lovée dans sa cape rouge, qui continue à protéger et guider les marins...

Sebuah drama kolosal yang melibatkan sejumlah artis papan atas Jepang seperti Karasawa Toshiaki , Matsushima Nanako, Takenouchi Yutaka, Sorimachi Takashi, Sakai Noriko dan artis – artis pendukung lainnya.

Jepang dilanda perang saudara berkepanjangan di akhir masa Ashikaga Shogunate (足利幕府) 1336—1573. Toshiee berasal dari klan Maeda , memutuskan untuk mengabdi kepada Nobunaga Oda , sang penguasa muda provinsi Owari yang tampak kecil dan rapuh. Toshiee juga menikah muda dengan Matsu yang saat itu masih di bawah umur.

Nobunaga dari provinsi Owari yang kecil lantas mulai menancapkan pengaruhnya yang kuat ke seluruh Jepang dengan didukung oleh sekutunya, yaitu Tokugawa Ieyasu. Meningkatnya kekuasaan Nobunaga ke seluruh Jepang , membawa dampak pada meningkatnya pamor klan Maeda dan klan Toyotomi, sebagai salah satu pendukung utama klan Oda

Matsu perlahan-lahan memperlihatkan bakat politiknya dengan mendukung karir Toshiee dibawah kepemimpinan Nobunaga. Toshiee yang jujur dan gagah berani di padukan dengan kecerdikan Matsu memberikan pondasi yang kuat pada klan Maeda untuk bertahan di tengah persaingan politik yang kejam. Matsu juga kelak di kenal sebagai salah satu wanita paling berpengaruh dalam sejarah klasik Jepang. Karena kecerdikan Matsu , keturunan klan Maeda dapat bertahan hingga berabad-abad kemudian.

Sementara itu Toyotomi Hideyoshi adalah tokoh yang lain sangat penting dalam drama ini (lihat juga karya Eiji Yoshikawa - Taiko) , selain Oda Nobunaga dan Tokugawa Ieyasu. Hideyoshi adalah contoh bagaimana keuletan dan kecerdikan dapat mengantarkannya dari kelas petani menuju puncak kekuasaan. Trio kepemimpinan mereka adalah peletak dasar bagi persatuan Jepang.

Sebuah drama sejarah yang layak di saksikan, karena kaya akan kandungan kisah sejarah Jepang abad pertengahan, kisah cinta yang mengharukan , kelumit politik tingkat tinggi , suri teladan wanita , kisah kepahlawanan dan wajah dari kekuasaan.

so much things i learned.. i feel like i need to catch up everything fast. breathtaking but yes, bit challenging. how it's feel.. it's like my brain keep stimulating non-stop and give instruction to my memory to keep more and more space to process all the inputs. emm, sort of..whether i still have energy on this or not..

some people just love their idols (Johny's boyband for example) and concentrating on them only.. but me, i'm looking to the J-entertainment industry as a whole picture in details.. macro and micro.

music, variety, movie, dorama, stageplay, management, technical etc. not only outcome but also the process or behind the scene. thanks to have some friends who have same interest.. that could share or discuss about scriptwriter, director, composer etc. frankly speaking, i dunno Japanese at all. but i'm good doing observation. and feel glad if i managed to get translation or summarize. whateva it is, i'm still learning.. and keep learning just to fulfill my needs of interest.

Description

This Japanese painting (nihonga) dates from the mid to late Japanese Showa period (1926-1989) and features an image of Mt. Fuji with calligraphy and stamps at the left edge.  The painting was done on a rectangular sheet of stiff Japanese shikishi paper with gold trim at the edges.  This nihonga painting is in fair condition with some marks, stains and creases and is a wonderful candidate for framing and display.
