Our session began at Tunnel Park in Holland, MI, where we hung out on the beach and later watched the sunset.

It was relaxing and such a nice way to enjoy a little Indian Summer here in Michigan.

We later went back to my studio to shoot some more intimate photographs with her expected newborn.

I can't wait to meet you, Baby Daza!!

Their wedding took place at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Jenison. This church was beautiful because the sky lights located on top of the alter were stained glass and depending on the time of day the sun was positioned the light from the stain glass would shift throughout the back of the alter.

It was the perfect background to a wonderful wedding.  Alice and Jeremy were so sweet and nice.  I personally loved Alice's laugh.

It just makes you want to smile when you here it.

The schedule for this day was so laid back and relaxed.

It was my first wedding where I really felt like I could take my time with all of my shots and set ups as well as get a chance to chat with the bridal party.  They were so friendly and sweet which made my job that much more fun.

Congratulations to you on your wedding day, Alice and Jeremy!!  Thanks, again. for a fantastic wedding this year.

It was very exciting and very fun.  It was my second time coming to the Traverse City area this year.  Coming to the Classic was like being on live versions of the Food Network.

The Chef's came from all over the country and you could check out different classes as to what dish they were demonstrating or what cheese goes great with different beers.

It was relaxing and educational.  There were a couple of tents that held wine and food tasting venues.   That housed vendors for Samuel Adams, Mount Gay Rum, The Grand Traverse Pie Company and so many more.

My girlfriend, Jenelle, joined me as this was her first time to coming to such an event as well.

We certainly enjoyed ourselves.

One of our favorites was the gourmet Balmamic Vinegers and Olive Oils from Fustini's...that was so yum.  My personal favorite was the fresh made mojitos with a sugar cane garnish.

It was heaven!!  Again, coming to this event was such a treat and I wish I was able to be there for the whole weekend.  Oh well, maybe next year!!  To get more information on the Epicurean Classic you can check out their website here.

I began at the house of Damian's aunt, where we photographed his aunt with the grand kids.

These kids were such monkies and of course, so cute.

Later Becky, Damian, Alana, and myself headed to John Ball Park for more private setting and wondered around the park.

Becky had told me this was their first family picture together and I was honored to be a part of that.

Si la publication-phare du groupe Québécor Média "a toujours refusé d'imposer le carcan d'une ligne de pensée éditoriale unique à son lectorat vaste et diversifié", dixit Benoît Aubin, chroniqueur en chef, et directeur des pages Opinions, force est de constater que les efforts de recrutement de nouveaux chroniqueurs ont donné des résultats, comment dire, plutôt ciblés.  Monsieur Aubin a beau rappeler la présence des Julius Grey, Nathalie Elgrably-Lévy, Geneviève Lefebvre, Joseph Facal, Marie-France Bazzo, Christopher Hall, Jean-Marc Léger et Richard Latendresse, parmi ses chroniqueurs, ce qui représente, selon lui, "une galerie de commentateurs aux vues diverses et parfois divergentes", les trois dernières recrues du JdeM campent à la même adresse.

Bernard Landry, il y a quelques semaines, et depuis le 29 septembre dernier, soit lundi de la semaine dernière, Dan Bigras et le curé Raymond Gravel, sont plutôt radicalement en faveur du bloc québécois.  Et le fait de voir arriver les deux derniers en pleine campagne électorale n'est pas, selon moi, le fruit du hasard.  Le bloc québécois propose, depuis quelques jours, des rassemblements qui ont tendance à attirer les journalistes, en général, et ceux du JdeM en particulier (rassemblements monstres, manifestations, etc.), ce qui leur donne une couverture supérieure à celle des autres partis, dont on peut lire les faits et méfaits dans de petits articles de rien du tout, sinon dans les seules pages dédiées à la campagne électorale.  D'ailleurs, quand un chef de parti fait la une du JdeM, c'est toujours pour illustrer ses déboires, alors que les nouvelles positives du chef du bloc, Gilles Duceppe, se retrouvent souvent à la une.

C'est suite à ces constatations que j'en viens à conclure que le Journal de Montréal, surtout depuis la mi-campagne, est devenu pro-bloc.

Qu'un journal s'affiche en faveur d'un parti, c'est son droit le plus légitime.  D'ailleurs, je me suis moi-même affiché, ici-même, contre le bloc.  Mais par contre, qu'on ne vienne pas me faire croire que l'on refuse d'imposer une ligne éditoriale unique au lectorat.  C'est ben beau d'avoir des chroniqueurs de tous les horizons, mais quand au-delà de la moitié de ceux-ci proviennent du même côté de la balance électorale, à savoir du PQ et du bloc, cela laisse bien peu de place à toutes les autres options.

Ishpeming, MI:  When a moose cow and her two calves wadered into Ishpeming, population appx. 6,500, police deemed they were endangering the public and 'euthanized' the mother.  DNR supported the decision.

"The curiosity of the public to see a live moose up close and personal was the main problem in controlling this situation,"  said Ishpeming Police Chief Jim Bjorne.  "Throughout the entire afternoon, people would show up, oblivious to the barriers we had put up, would not listen to commands to stay away, so they could take pictures of the moose with their cameras and cell phones. The reality of the situation was we had a 1,000-plus pound cow moose trying to protect its young while there were entire families with little kids who treated the situation like it was a day at the zoo."

Assignment editor Richard Hill of WLUC-TV6 said there has been a huge outpouring of anger from residents.

So I've watched Speed Racer recently. I was actually impressed when I'm watching the race scenes. It's not bad at all. Even though the graphics was a turn-off when I saw the trailers, but I was excited when they were racing.

My next movie download would either be The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man or The Dark Knight. And maybe I Am Legend. But I want a comedy movie, movies that can make me laugh. I think it's been a long time I've laughed hard while watching a movie.

The last time was while watching Rush Hour 3.

This is the scene where I laughed till I cry. DAMN funny!

It's been also such a long time since I've stepped into a cinema. I need to go out soon, before school semester starts all over again.

Hoy hace un año que nació el foro Mi Playstation, bajo los servidores de ForoActivo. Hoy en día, posee su propio dominio y su propio servidor, que, gracias a los administradores, moderadores, socios fundadores y miembros activos, se consigió avanzar un peldaño más.

Como miembro fundador y moderador del foro, recordar este acontecimiento es lo más generoso que me ha pasado. Teniendo una PS3, pero lejos de conectarle un cable de red, jamás hubiera imaginado compartir tantas batallas online, momentos de alegría y regocijo en el foro, encontrando artículos inimaginables que han creado los propios miembros. Y a esa alegría y satisfacción, nació el clan Paraguay Resistance, primer clan paraguayo, con merchandising incluído. Aunque el foro soporta múltiples clanes, PyR es una sensación única, de eso no hay dudas. Hoy estamos creciendo y madurando a la vez, haciendo de un foro más robusto y serio.

Espero poder seguir varios años más a ese equipo estupendo y ameno, y aportando las mejores noticias del mundo PS, y de los mejores videojuegos.

Cuando un juego que lleva menos de un año en el mercado ya suena como objetivo de una adaptación cinematográfica, es que las cosas en Hollywood no acaban de ir todo lo finas que deberían. Por supuesto también está la otra teoría, que tiene que ver directamente con la calidad del juego, si un producto es excelente y ofrece una “portabilidad” de medio, aceptable, ¿porqué no hacerlo?

Algo así deben pensar en Arad Productions, compañía del millonario y legendario productor Avi Arad, que después de ayudar a convertir a héroes de cómic como Spiderman o X men en multimillonarios éxitos de taquilla, piensa empezar a hacer lo mismo con los videojuegos.

Y el primero en pasar por la piedra, va a ser ‘Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune’. El éxito de ventas que arrasó en PS3 gracias a una historia propia del cine de aventuras más tradicional y de un apartado gráfico a prueba de bombas, empezará dentro de poco la fase de producción. ¿Cómo aguantará el juego original su paso al cine? Lo cierto es que el amigo Avi ya empieza a lanzar pistas.

“Nathan Drake no es como Indiana Jones. Lo mejor acerca de Nathan es que no se trata de un arqueólogo. No es un chico benevolente y tampoco es un buen chico. Indiana Jones siempre fue el bueno y hacía lo correcto. Drake, en cambio, es un chico que poco a poco tiene que ir tomando el buen sendero a medida que avanza el juego.”

“En el juego, la acción se sucede muy rápido y enseguida te encuentras metido en medio de la isla, viviendo la aventura. Pero la película tardará un poco más, presentaremos a los personajes y les daremos mucha profundidad. Además queremos tocar temas reales, como por ejemplo la piratería actual en América del Sur, que es algo que Naughty Dog estudió bastante en su momento, para hacer el juego.”

“Me encantan los videojuegos y me encanta unirme y compartir ideas con los desarrolladores. Espero que en el transcurso de la realización de la película seamos como uno sólo y que empujemos a la vez. Sabemos que pasaron dos o tres años creando todo el universo de sus juegos y a sus personajes, y por supuesto nuestra idea es expandir el mundo que ellos crearon. Son criaturas a las que todos cuidaremos, desarrolladores del videojuego y los responsables de la película.”

De alguna manera, como aficionado al cine que soy, me tranquiliza saber que gente verdaderamente profesional está detrás del tema y que una licencia como esta no ha caído en manos del amigo Uwe. ‘Uncharted’ me pareció, y me sigue pareciendo, uno de los títulos más completos de esta generación de consolas y su adaptación cinematográfica estaba cantada desde el primer día.

Si cuando juegas a un videojuego, repites una y otra vez algo como : “Parece una película”, es que amigo, el juego fue hecho con vistas…

Emma was such a brave sport! It was even her idea to get in the water. I wouldn't let her go in too far for fear that I'd have to save her if an enormous wave came out of nowhere. We both got through the shoot safely. Emma got her wings when we were in high school. They are so unique and so Emma! I love you Emma and I'm so happy, proud and excited for you (and Kevy too!). Can't wait for that belly to get even bigger. Mwah!

Este es mi teléfono móvil (celular, para los latinoamericanos ;) ) Es un Nokia 5200, y es uno de los teléfonos móviles que mas éxito ha tenido en los últimos años. Hoy día, das una patada a una piedra y salen catorce personas con un teléfono como este. Y no me extraña, es de los mejores. Es un teléfono todoterreno. Me explico. Mi móvil se me ha caído al suelo muchas veces (algunas desde considerable altura para un teléfono). La unica marca visible de estos accidentes es un pequeño rayón en la pantalla.

Y, aunque ahora haya móviles mucho mejores técnicamente, el N5200 los sigue ganando de largo. ¿3G? ¿MP4? Chorradas. El 3G te puede salir por un pico, y el MP4 aún no es algo que pueda tener ventaja sobre otros formatos. Mi teléfono, entre los de mi grupo de amigos, es uno de los más viejos (cabrones consumistas :lol: ), pero es el mejor. No es muy potente, pero no lo necesita. Con aplicaciones se le pueden añadir muchas funcionalidades (Súper Bluetooth Hack, ¿adivináis para que sirve ;) ?) y se le puede mejorar el rendimiento (desfragmentación, liberación de RAM, aumento del rendimiento del procesador…). Lo dicho, el Nokia 5200 es mi teléfono móvil, y es de los mejores hasta la fecha ;)
