Wahhh, gw nggak handal nih menjabarkan siapa diri gw sebenernyah. Gw lebih suka dikomentarin aja daripada disuruh ngejabarin siapa gw. Apa yang gw suka, dan segala pernak-perniknya terlalu memusingkan untuk diungkapkan dengan kata-kata ^hiyak. Secara karena gw cukup menilai gw dengan satu kata = ANEH. Yaaaaa… bolehlah ditambah lagi dengan katro, garing, lucu, imuth, keren dan berbagai hal nggak penting dan penting yang membaur menjadi satu kesatuan di diri gw. Heuheuheu. Tapi demi bung geRrilya yang sudah memilih gw secara acak sekali…, dan katanya harus mengumpulkan pe eR ini selese nggak selese, Dengan amat berat sangat, akhirnya gw kerjakan tugas ini. [ini sekalian aja digabung sama pe er dari mba anny ya, kemaren ngintip di link, gw kena pe er juga kayanya…padahal nggak kenal. Yah, beginilah ajaibnya dunia blogsphere, yang nggak kenal aja bisa ngasih pe er. J lam kenal ya mbaaak…]

Whatever, I’ll try to explain 10 facts about my self:

1. Gw ini si penggembala sapi. Oooohhh, nope.. of course it’s a joke. Yang bener, gw ini adalah anak jalanan. Bukan dalam arti sebenernya sih. Yaaaaa, tapi untuk orang yang nggak pernah ada di tempat yang sama dari hari ke harinya, bolehlah gw bisa dibilang sebagai “anak jalanan”. My Job,….i mean it. Sekali waktu gw ada di Jawa barat, minggu besok gw udah ada di Jawa Timur. Ough, when will I stop doing this? I’m so tired actually, but still trying to survive in this environment [Lah, kok malah curhat ki pie toh]
2. Gw ini pecinta binatang. Sering nyapa binatang apa aja yang ditemui. Bahkan sering ngajak ngomong jugak. Yah, sekedar menyapalah. Gw kan ramah banget orangnya :P Gw juga ndak tau kenapa. Gw suka tertegun dan termangu kalo ada didepan mereka ituh ^weleh bahasanya. [kecuali tikus, tokek dan kecoa… gw agak2 sombong sama mereka ;)]
3. I am not a morning person. Six am is still ‘dini hari’ for me. Tentunya pas holiday aja. Makanya gw suka tersiksa kalo’ pas hari kerja… kekekekek.
4. Suka coklat. Yang mau ngasih, jangan nunggu Valentine’s day ya….
5. Hobi: menyepi. Menyendiri. Suka stress kalo kelamaan di keramean, entah ini phobia ato apa. Yang jelas, gw lebih suka yang hening-hening daripada hingar bingar. Kalo bisa ngilang pas di keramean, gw lebih milih ngilang deh. Ngumpet. Nyungseb…pake be’ J
6. Suka liat mata orang. Apalagi yang indah-indah. Hwahahaha... Tapi nggak mau diliatin balik. ^selfish yaaaa...
7. Ukuran sepatu gw, 36 kurang dikit. Jadi kalo’ dapetnya 36 harus disumpelin biar pas. Jiahahaha, penting banget ya.
8. Nggak bisa idup sehari tanpa megang Hp. My K750i…. adalah teman setia gw selama 24 jam. Full time.
9. Suka kebawa mellow gara-gara dengerin lagu yang liriknya sok ngena gitu.
10. Ayam is my favourite food. Mau di goreng, di kecap, bakar, semur… gw suka. Don’t know why. Sejarahnya gini nih, pas bulan Ramadhan 4 tahun yang lalu ada yang nawarin menu buka. Waktu itu, ditanyanya gini “Makanan favoritnya apa? Entar tak beliin aja buat buka”. Dan waktu itu, gw mikir panjang [sempet loh gw mikir, padahal nanyanya lewat telpon], akhirnya bak ada lampu di atas kepala gw, disertai bunyi ‘cring… gw jawab “ayam! Apa aja deh. Yang penting ayam”. Nah, semenjak saat itu, gw baru bener-bener nyadar, bahwa disetiap acara yang ada makan-makannya, yang gw pilih pasti ayam. Kecuali ada menu yang lebih menggiurkan ^halah, nggak konsisten :D
11. Loh loh… keterusan, udah 10 ya? Xixixixix

Sometimes, all you want to do is hang out at home - box of chocs, half decent bottle of wine, and some cheesy tunes to bounce around the lounge to! The ever colourful Sumomo Kawashima's latest releases are perfect for doing just that.

The bright, bold colours of the Striped and Moshi sweaters warm the heart as well as your body.  In a cosy knit fabric, as well drawn as the tucks and wrinkles, each comes in a pack of four colours, including sculpted sleeves.  The Moshi set also come with a triad of coloured badges, but I'm a dork and forgot to put them on!  The Striped is also available in second pack with a (slightly) more restrained palette.  I stuck with the cheeriest shades, a perfect match to the Wooly Panties - the ultimate in big knickers.  I love that the jumpers even have little hearts on the back tying them in with the pants even further.

Corduroy's freebie socks had the perfect colour already in the pack for the first outfit, and Riddle's tintable cable knit kneehighs were an easy option when I couldn't find the right shade of purple in any of my other socks.  Gritty Kitty's Bilirubin hair with its independently colour changeable bandana and streaks was the perfect style - so many possible colour combinations, I had altogether too much fun playing around with different permutations.

And as if that wasn't cute enough, just look at the Tiny Dancer outfit!!  Again, the pack has four colour choices - I mixed the Sea and Lemon here, and there are also pink and purple options.  The dress is a loose knit, with your choice of two little sheer flexi-skirts.  (I forgot to take a pic of the other style, a teeny little tutu, but for that I have the great excuse of a flooded kitchen - forgive me!)  Stockings are included in the same dotty print and the sheer shrug matches, finished with sculpted cuffs and a sweet little bow.  As I mixed and matched two packs, the pink bow on the stockings looked a little out of place, so I added Aoharu's simple scarf and Maitreya's essential Chichi's to tie the whole together.

Oh, and I had the biggest squee moment when I spotted a little surprise in Coquette's Delish skins - a pierced tongue!!  How fab is that?!  Made my day!

But, lately, my dreams have been so vivid, and really insane. It is puzzling, and sort of exhausting. I am not altering my state before going to bed (usually), and I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary before I fall asleep.

Last night I dreamed that Muhammad Ali and I were at a house on the water. It might have been the island. He cooked some veal for dinner and we argued about politics. It started snowing, and that man that I once loved, the one that didn't tell me he was married until two years after I met him, showed up at the door. He had a box of cigars for the Champ.

Ali took one look at that guy, and knocked him the fuck out.

I have a lot on my mind lately, I guess. Sorry to be so boring.

Momo - Michael Ende.

First for this weekend we have Momo volume 1 chapter 2: Stardust Parade. Thinking that she can get more points from delicious food, Yume tries to feed Momo six different types of pastries. However, it's no good because something from the same category doesn't count twice. So due to circumstances, Yume, Momo, and her attendents head to an amusement park. Will the magic and beauty of a night parade be something that Momo appreciates enough to grant Yume a second point?

Second is a series we're going to pick up, Galism~Love Supreme Sisters~ volume 1 chapter 3: The Birth of the Ultimate Gal Team. I was thrilled to pick this one up, because I loooove gal styles and personality~ So, we're starting from chapter 3, but will go back and do 1 and 2. Err, however at the moment I've lost the previously released chapters 1 and 2 so if someone could reupload them that would be good...lol.

We're looking for some experienced typesetters! You don't have to take the test, just send me samples (untypesetted and typesetted copy) of your work!

Hoje à noite, a festa Brasa, realizada no Clube Berlin, leva ao público show de um dos nomes mais relevantes do novo folk brasileiro. MoMo, alcunha do cantor e compositor carioca Marcelo Frota, mostra o repertório do recém-lançado segundo CD, Buscador (Dubas Música/TramaVirtual).

O músico dá continuidade aos tons invernais de A Estética do Rabisco (2007), que o rendeu elogios tanto na imprensa nacional quanto na lista de melhores discos do ano passado de publicações como Down Beat, Chicago Reader e Muziq.

No novo trabalho, MoMo remete a uma sonoridade setentista - ele é fã dos primeiros discos de Fagner, Belchior e Clube da Esquina -, para falar sobre memória, tristeza e romances destinados a desmoronar, sem nunca perder a esperança de que, nas palavras dele, o sol nascerá.

Adriano Barros (guitarra), Bruno Braggion (bateria), Caetano Malta (baixo) e Fabio Pizzo (casiotone) o acompanham nesse novo trabalho, que conta com a participação do trombonista Max Sette (Orquestra Imperial) e Regis Damasceno (Cidadão Instigado e Mr. Spaceman).

Nei giorni scorsi il maliano della ruBentus Sissoko era balzato all'attenzione della cronaca per le deludenti prestazioni offerte in questo primo scorcio di stagione. La spiegazione sembrava semplice: è musulmano praticante, quindi dovendo osservare il ramadan non può rendere al massimo. Il ramadan, per chi non lo sapesse, costringe i musulmani a fare lunghe ore di digiuno. Sembrava tutto scontato allora, perché la scarsissima alimentazione di questo periodo lo privava delle forze necessarie.
No, non è così. Giusto ieri è arrivata la dichiarazione di Sissoko che ha praticamente scioccato i tifosi ruBentini:

«Mia moglie Sokona e mia figlia Aicha sono la mia vita. Sono musulmano praticante, prego cinque volte al giorno, ma non osservo il ramadan perché non potrei allenarmi duramente. Con Legrottaglie parliamo spesso di religione: siamo un cristiano e un musulmano, ma c’è un dio unico. Porto avanti iniziative benefiche nel Mali: stiamo costruendo un orfanotrofio e una scuola».

Questa affermazione cambia moltissimo le cose, perché se non c'è il ramadan dietro le scialbe prestazioni del maliano allora c'è da preoccuparsi. Fare una buona stagione appena arrivati per poi cadere nell'anonimato più assoluto è un classico. Si profila un altro flop per la ruBentus? Forse è presto per dirlo, ma Sissoko fino ad ora è sembrato un giocatore da Serie B.

Es mejor que veáis el vídeo en el que no sólo se ve la originalidad de las piezas, sino también los buenos ratos que han tenido que pasar estos dos colegas.

Actually I signed up when I was still 27 years old, but I turned 28 on July 20th, so nobody knew and it didn't get changed. But at this age, I'd rather stop counting anyway. I'm very young in my heart and you all know it! (which is both a good and bad thing) Please don't treat me any differently if you just learned my age today, ok?    I decided I am 20 years old, ok? :D

Of course it wasn't something easy.
My emotions were very mixed during the past month.
And yet...I didn't want to go to the finals with a half-hearted attitude.
It wasn't all about winning or losing.
I wanted to make sure to do give my best, despite my incredible nervousness.
I wanted to touch people's hearts, even just with one song.
To have had the chance to stand on that stage, having all these people listening, industry people as well... and meet all these incredible finalists, I feel blessed.

I have to say that I really loved everyone.
All the finalists were SO nice. And talented of course.
There are some that I spoke with less, but I'm still so grateful for that experience.
I wish I could have had the courage to try to speak more with them.

Shimizu-san... who has such a strong passion... I admire him very much. He was very powerful.
Yuri-san. OMG. I love her voice so much. I wish I could have heard more....
Hikari-chan. She was adorable and SO nice to me, despite the fact that I'm just an old lady next to her! Her mom was also so kind to me.
Airi-chan. Wow. She sure was popular in the audience. She was the same age as Hikari. They were both so cute.
The ST-AWAKE guys. Wow. They were SO funny. One of them kept joking around the whole time. Of course my level of japanese isn't that high that I missed a lot of the things that were meant to be funny, but whatever I could understand really made me laugh. They were also VERY good. I wish they could have made it to the next round....I wanted to hear more.
Tanaka Tarou-san. I loved his voice too. He was really the visual jrock-ish type. I'm not sure what I loved most though...his voice? or his looks? Haha. He was very nice too.
Konomi-san was also very lovely. She was so cute in her dress. I still can't believe japanese females can have such petite bodies. I'm so envious! It looks like she made her dress herself. WOW. Sewing talents too.
Oota-san. T_T I'm so sorry I don't have much to say because I really didn't speak with him much, but he was also another powerful singer. Way to go!!!

And last but not least.... Tagami Satoshi-san. T_T .......................... T______T
I..... *cries* I'm so sad.
He was just _SO_ nice. Honestly. He said 'please come to Hokkaido!!' ......I wanted to ask him his e-mail but.... I was too shy. ._. *sniff* My heart hurts a little bit. I wish I had the courage to speak with him more.

AAAAH!!! But other than that, he was a great singer as well. I think he got unlucky to be the first one to sing. Obviously the judges will not give a high score to the first one because they have to start their base off. Since you don't know how good or bad the other contestants will do, you can't give such a high score to the first one. But then the first one might get forgotten a bit as the other ones move forward and so it's highly possible that the scores will raise for the later people. I don't think he did bad. I don't know how far he would have made it if he wasn't first, but I really hope that he won't give up.
Aaaaah maybe I'll never see him again!! nooooo!!!

I just want to say that I'm very very grateful that I was able to get this opportunity.
I know that some of you who read this might think 'bah, I knew you'd win' and such....
But it was honestly not like that. It was nothing easy.
And even after winning this wonderful contest, things won't be easy either.
Neither for my living, nor financially, emotionally, etc.
I am given this chance, but I need to earn the respect of japanese people by my own efforts.
People won't just accept me without me making more efforts than the average.
I know that. And no matter how weak I always seem to be, I came to Japan with this determination.
Why do I say 'the japanese people' first? Well, obviously because I came to Japan.
Because I chose to come here of my own free will, so I have to make the effort that is required to prove myself to them.

But I want to let you know, the people from all over the world as well (all my friends in Quebec/Canada, the ones in the United States and the ones from various countries that have gotten to hear me sing online or become my good friends...), that your support means just as much to me.
Everyone is important in this. I can't be so selfish anymore. This isn't just my dream. This is something that includes all the people who listen as well. Which means... all of you out there.

I need you all. And I will do my best, with the options that I can find around me, to make you smile.

My goal has always been to touch people's heart with my singing. If I can move people, or make them smile... I will be extremely happy and satisfied. For me, it will be one of the best happiness in the world. I know that life isn't easy for anyone, we all have trials to go through and sometimes unfair things happen. But I hope that I can somehow sing for the sake of people who need a bit of comfort. Because I was also given a lot of comfort through music as well, and I'm thankful to the great artists that I was able to listen to.

Most importantly, I want to thank my close friends, although I think it might be a little insulting if I start naming a bunch of people and then omit some and hurt people's feelings.
You probably all know what kind of place you have in my heart anyway, each of you, so don't worry, your respective places are safe in my heart. I love you all SO much.

In poking around, I saw on The Soft Landing blog that Momo is also coming out with a silicone baby bottle in October, so just a few short weeks. And Nuby is coming out with a silicone bottle in January 2009 as well.
