Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm

There isn't really much that can be said about this game... It's mostly the same build as everyone has been playing with since mid-July. The only addition, as far as I could see anyway, was Neji and Gaara. They're suitably unique in their play styles, offering quite a diverse style of play - Gaara is as you'd expect, heavily reliant on Shukaku to deal damage and defend himself, and Neji is also extremely faithful to the anime. Everything he does is taijutsu based - relying on quick, sharp, combos to whittle down his opponent's health. Anyone who wishes to see some gameplay, I found some on Gametrailers... Street Fighter IV

From the short time I had with this game, it was easy to feel right at home. For those who felt that they needed a true successor to Street Fighter 2, worry no more... This is the true sequel. I got to play as Akuma, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile and Vega - and I got on well enough only on my knowledge of how to play them from Street Fighter 2. Although I should point out that this game, from the build I was playing, is insanely hard. The Focus Attack system that has been implemented this time around is crucial to survival. Forget winning, not dying is hard enough to achieve. As a mechanic, it works brilliantly. Absorb your opponent's attack, countering with a crushing blow. The developers wanted to drift away from combo-heavy play, and the Focus Attacks help work brilliantly in doing so...

Demon Souls

The game that was only recently announced has taken the gaming world by surprise. Demon Souls is a game to look out for, if only for the ambition the game carries and the strong chances of this ambition being realised. Combat is a little on the strange side, concentrated on the shoulder buttons, and locking onto enemies is poorly implemented. After all, who assigns something as important as Lock On to clicking the analogue sticks? Destructible environments, impressive progressive AI that increases in correlation with enemy strength (meaning super powerful and super smart enemies later on in the game) and the promise of an expansive open world means this could be well worth keeping an eye on.

Killzone 2

First off, I didn't actually get to play this myself. As you all know, I didn't go to the Show by myself and I wasn't the only one wanting to play games either. Kizzy 2 is one of the games that, even though I didn't play it myself, I think needs something of a mention here. You see, first impressions are always important. I remember the CGI trailer released back in '05, and this game looks identical to that in game. A brilliant atmosphere, enhanced by gun shots, screams, heavy smoke, camera shaking and other feasts for the senses, merely make you feel like this is shaping up to be the best shooter of 2009. Which is an impressive feat for, what I'm lead to believe is, a pre-alpha build.

No queda mucho que decir, ya jugamos el demo, ya vimos infinidad de trailers y videos, ya conocemos a todos los personajes, en fpin solo queda esperar un mespara disfrutar de este que parece un grán juego de peleas.

Namco Bandai difundió estas nuevas imágenes de Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm para PlayStation 3 en el último número de la revista japonesa Shonen Jump.

Este juego de peleas saldrá a la venta el 15 de este mes en Norteamérica.

Namco Bandai sigue mostrando imágenes de Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm para PlayStation 3 en las revistas japonesas Shonen Jump y V-Jump, preparando a los fanáticos de la serie para el lanzamiento el 15 de octubre en Norteamérica, y el 7 de noviembre en Europa.

A Namco Bandai, produtora responsável pelo título Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, divulgou hoje a edição de coleccionador do game que marcará a estreia do pequeno ninja de roupa laranja no console da nova geração da Sony.

Esta versão destinada aos verdadeiros fãs do anime será constituída por diversos trabalhos artísticos devidamente protegidos, dezoito músicas originais, duas cartas de coleção exclusivas e ainda uma edição limitada Laser Cell em relação ao combate entre Naruto e o Sasuke.

Tudo isto poderá ser adquirido pela quantia de 69,99 dólares. Até agora este pacote só está disponível no território americano, sem data prevista para os paises latino-americanos (como sempre) e na Europa. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm estará disponível exclusivamente para Playstation 3 no dia 4 de Novembro de 2008.

Esta imagen la encontré gracias a un comentario de Lekiam, y al parecer efectivamente son 35 personajes en el juego, esto lo comprobé entrando en la pagina oficial del juego( www.ultimateninjastorm.com) ya que en la sección de personajes se pueden contar 35, de los cuales ira saliendo toda su información.

Hasta ahora solo se encuentra Naruto, Kakashi y Sakura. En la información salen las técnicas y un video que las muestra..

Así se comprueba que Kankuro sí estará, ademas cuando encuentre el video de Kankuro peleando lo pondré.

Para aquellos que quieran el juego, en www.zmart.cl ya empezo la preventa de este juegos es decir lo pueden comprar sin costo de reservacion y el dia que llege lo pasan a buscar a la tienda o piden que se lo envien a su casa.

I think my next game will be Heavenly Sword.  I got a coupon for a discount on used games at Gamestop and I could use that to get the game.  Not to mention I also have my Xbox 360 and PSP to trade in for credit.  Soon after, I'll probably get The Force Unleashed which comes out in less than a month.  That game is a good segway into the rest of my post.

I  tried a couple of game demos from PSN this month: The Bourne game, The Force Unleashed, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, and Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit.

Bourne is different.  There are lot of action sequences that prompt the user to smash a button really fast (like in God of War).  There's also the 'Bourne Instinct' which you annoyingly have to use to gain insight on your surroundings.  Fighting is up close and hard hitting just like in the movie.  I thik it is too easy to die. Which, if you do, makes you start all over from a checkpoint.  That's fine and all, but I thought it happened too often.  Loading times are also long.  I'm definitely a Bourne fan but I'm not sure I'll buy this game unless it's used and I could get it for a realy good price.  Maybe I can use that discount for gamestop.

The Force Unleashed is great.  This is a must buy.  First and foremost, it's a Star Wars game.  I'm big on Star Wars.  Playing as Darth Vader's secret apprentice is sick!  A few complaints: The camera was a bit tedious to control - the default angles sucked.  It was a bit hard to defend myself from dozens of Storm Troopers shooting at me while I'm targetted on just one and focussing my offense just on that one.  Targetting in general was iffy.  There were too many objects I could force grip, so the system often targetted on something I wasn't interested on (an object instead of an enemy).  And, finally, there were a few other weird occurrences like losing my lightsaber for a bit or moving crates through floors and walls.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja storm looked great and was unlike any fighter I ever played.  The problem is that I'm not a Naruto fan.  So I think I'm losing out on all the character traits and background that might make this game exciting.  I heard there's also an adventure mode to this game.  That'll be interesting to see.  I wonder how it adds to the gameplay experience?

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is also a unique fighter.  I like the dramatic cut scenes and the integration with the cartoon's story.  Fighting was fun.  This might be another game worth getting (at a discounted rate).

The game looks and feels better then the Xbox 360's Naruto game version.
There really wasn't much game play on the demo
you can choose between to characters Naruto and  Kakashi
Naruto has squad 7 with him Sasuke & Sakura, Kakashi you get Guy.

The fighting system seems to works very easy, the problem I can see with this is it's going to get boring pretty quick, considering every special is very easy to do basically two button are used for combo's and special moves.

The way your team mates work is you can call them in with the left or right triger they'll come in and do a little special move, also sometimes when you get knocked back they will save you, I thought that was a nice touch.

but for all you Naruto fans you can't pass this game up even know we all know the story, it's still fun to play through..

I don't care how bad they make these games I'm GONNA PLAY EM.

With that said I'm really hoping the guys making the Broken bonds version for Xbox take some notes and improve.

El vídeo nos muestra un juego cuidadísimo hasta el más pequeño detalle para darle un toque anime muy logrado. Pueden verse a muchos personajes, desde Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Lee, Neji, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Gaara, Shino, etc

El buen hacer de CyberConnect2 vuelve a notarse en la primera entrega de la serie para la PS3.

Anyway, to the conference.

The Good: Greatest Hits games being released. That means I can finally get Sigma for cheap. Though most people who have a PS3 already have these games anyway. It's really just there to get people to buy more consoles since those games are cheaper. Revealing PS2, PSN and PSP content. The PS2 is still alive? Apparently. Even so much that it's getting The Force Unleashed. How? Search me.

PSN Video is finally out, and I can rent movies without going anywhere. It's not as awesome as Netflix, but who wants to pay for Live and Netflix subscriptions anyway? I don't watch enough movies to care all too much. The feature is cool.

God of War 3 finally announced. Apparently the CGI trailer revealed at E3 is supposed to resemble the actual graphics of the game. That's kind of scary. Now I'll need to get it or be killed.

LittleBigPlanet is looking more cute than ever. Apparently you can make PowerPoint Presentations with it. You know I'm never going to use Office again. Sony is also getting two MMOs on the console: DC Universe Online and The Agency. Wow.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Fallout 3 (also out on 360) look great. Both are on my to-get list. I'm going to be poor.

Sony reveals MAG: Massive Action Game (or Mega Awesome Game in my book) which is finally what feels like an all-out war between two teams of 128 players, each divided into squads of 8, led by one particularly talented player. Lots of awesome.

The Bad: First off, I want to say that I in no way condone anyone talking like their console is cooler than sliced bread and sounding like you're in an infomercial, even Sony. This goes for Nintendo and Microsoft, too. This E3 was filled with words like "successful" and "engaging" and "most" and smatterings of features everywhere ("Blu Ray Storage capacities" and "crisp high-definition" and "innovative gameplay") and Sony was just irritating as they overflattered their system.

PS2 is dead. Leave it alone, Sony. They keep releasing bad softcore versions of next-gen games on the PS2 and Wii and it's driving me crazy. Wii Rock Band and PS2 Rock Band were awful. Just get with the program.

Nobody likes Buzz. I don't know anyone who thinks Buzz is a cool game. Why are we getting seven hundred different versions of it? And SingStar is fine, but do you have to make a new version every two months?

You talked way too much about stuff we don't really care about. Also, releasing two MMO simultaneously is really bad business. Of course, Sony still hasn't caught on to the MMO craze, since they're responsible for the disasters that are Everquest 2, Star Wars Galaxies and The Matrix Online--all of which I have played recently and been frustratingly disappointed with.

What happened to Final Fantasy? Are you going to talk about it? Where's FFXIII Versus? That's still an exclusive, right?

And of course there's the fact that the conference was mostly filled with fluff of developers talking about how awesome the PS3 is and not about how many other games and features we want to see. When's Home coming out? What's the new stuff Kojima's working on? What about Zone of the Enders 3? Or Heavy Rain? The elusive Quantic Dream title was shown behind closed doors, but why?

Sony has plenty lined up for the future--they just refused to share it with us, and instead gave us a lot of lofty crap about how awesome they are. At least they didn't throw too many numbers at us like Nintendo did, and end with words about how much they're not a fad. But still, the lack of information was bothersome.

Also, the PS3 80 gig at $399 is not a price cut. It's a 40gig with 40 gigs more space. Not that Sony ever said it was a price cut, but it was conveniently misleading. So while it's better for the buyer--get a bit more bang for your buck--remember, it's not the same as an old 80 gig, which has a few hardware advantages.

In the end, I liked the Sony conference. I had my qualms with it, but I hated the other companies'. I guess you could say that makes me a fanboy, but to be honest it's just logic that goes into my appreciation for the PS3. The Wii is an overhyped gimmick. The Xbox 360 is a faulty tool that doesn't push next-gen far enough. In the end I like the flashiest, most powerful and most accessible technology. I don't pay monthly fees and I don't have friend codes to bother with. The PS3 and I are a perfect match.

Sony is just evil.

Anime is definitely something i'm not interested in but with the PS3 Dragon Ball Z game coming out a while back and now this, Anime is one of the ways the PS3 can show off it's strengths. This game is a straight fighter from Namco Bandai based around the world of the Naruto anime series.

The combat does work well and you can string together quite a few combos, but with only one main attack button it can get monotonous. The combat definitely does not have the depth of something like Street Fighter but it doses accomplish it's goal of being a fast paced combo driven fighting game really well.

Visually this game is amazing. It looks just like your watching/playing an anime show. The characters are great looking and the art style really works well in a fighting game. The environments are really cool too, they're great looking and the number of different areas within the games i played were great. There's a great mix of ground and water environments with a lot of action also taking place in mid-air

Overall it looks like a great fighter for any fan of anime. I do urge everyone who owns a PS3 to try this demo out because you will be blown away by the visuals and who knows, you might even like it.
