In Bleach Heat The Soul 5, it's all about the "Tag Master" mode where Shinigami, Humans, Arrancar, and others engage in tag team fighting action that runs fast and fluid.

Players select two characters from a roster of 31 combatants and then go to war against another duo. Similar to previous Bleach HTS games, the action takes place on a 3D battlefield where a versatile camera zooms in and out as the fighters draw close to each other and range far away. When special attacks are triggered, a short cinema takes over which shows the blazing theatrics to bombastic effect. Intuitive controls and a simple evasion system make Bleach HTS5 an easy game to get into without much time investment required. The other game modes include Time Attack, Free Battle, Soul VS, Survival, and Training for rusty captains who need a little practice. In addition to the aforementioned 31 character roster, two new fighters join the tried and true cast - the fearsome Cirucci Thunderwitch in all of her garter-wearing glory and a pink-haired lad named Zaeruaporo Granz.

Preorder Bonus: Early preorders will include a black/white Bleach HTS5 towel which is made of 100% cotton. Sony gave the towel out in 30% ratio so only early preorders will receive the bonus.

Every once in a while however, developers revisit the old school and create a new platform game that'll whet the appetites of middle-aged fans. In the case of Ikuze! Gen-San, Irem's new platformer is the sequel to a game titled Daiku no Gensan aka Hammerin' Harry which hit Japanese arcades in 1990. In that earlier game, the protagonist Gen-San's house was completely destroyed by a bunch of goons from an evil construction company. To seek revenge, Gen-San took up the hammer and sought revenge against the company. Irem's sequel follows the same basic theme.

When a corrupt construction company (fueled by corporate greed) overbuilds and disrupts the natural harmony of the great outdoors, an honor-bound carpenter rises up to put an end of the construction boom. Armed with a hammer and gifted with agility and moxie, the hero named Gen-San (Carpenter) trudges through different stages and dismantles robots, construction equipment, enemy workers, and other agents of the company. When the occasion calls, Gen-San can adopt the skills of eight other professionals such as a baseball player, a sushi chef, disc jockey, lumberjack, deep sea diver, and more. In his baseball persona, Gen-San wears a player's uniform and swings a bat and throws strikes. On the flipside, DJ Gen-San is decked out in baggy clothes and busts a move with a boombox and LPs. He's versatile and adept like that.

The Shinseiki GPX series has been a stalwart on Playstation consoles since 1999 and the upcoming PSP game is the first portable release since Varie published a Gameboy version of Shinseiki GPX in 1992.

One of the hallmarks of the series on the PS2 is the smooth sailing motion of the cars as they speed through the roads at 700 km/h and muscle for rank against the other drivers. NCS expects more of the same on the PSP version based on the screenshots and previews released thus far. Racers who are lagging behind may rely on the Aero Boost which throttles a vehicle to maximum speed for a few seconds until the booster gauge dwindles to nothing. A car customization system allows vehicles to be upgraded to higher levels of performance. Preorders ship on July 10.

Reports of the glitch appeared on Japanese gaming message boards soon after the game hit retailers. Roughly one year after the hiccup, Arc System fixed the problem with a PS2 append disc.

In order to double-dip on the recent release of the game, Arc System announces a PSP conversion which includes the append disc upgrades (two new characters, Story Mode, and Mission Mode) found in the PS2 original. New features in the PSP conversion include a 4-player ad hoc mode, the ability to transfer data from the PS2 game, and a 3-vs-3 tag team battle mode.

The preorder solicitation mentions a bonus guidebook will be given away to early reservations but no ratio information is listed. We'll update accordingly if the ratio allocation is announced in the next few days. Preorders are welcome to ship on July 31, 2008.

I don't know about you but I love my PSP. I"ve had it a relatively short time, and I absolutely adore it. Its got me non-stop downloading things. I download PSP videos, PSP movies and also PSP games. You can modify your PSP, run Linux on it or even use it as a PDA, but the most fun feature its got is the ability to watch movies and videos and that's what has people, including me, buzzing about them still.

From the very beginning this incredible little machine had me just astonished. Being able to download videos to watch in a palm sized gizmo has that effect on most everyone who uses it, but particularly those of us who remember when computers filled a room, and we punched cards and fed them into slots to make them work.

This small dream machine has among the largest screens of all the hand held devices, meaning that your movies and downloaded videos are seen the way they were meant to be viewed. Google Video is one place where you can download movies and download videos to watch on your PSP. They gear them actually just for PSP, although you do have to be certain that you have the latest firmware in place for your PSP and you cannot get a full movie videos.

To download PSP Videos, all you need to do is browse the selection of videos, and when you find one that you like, just click on the "Download Video to PSP" link or button and on your PSP memory stick, make a folder that you've called "videos".

What could possibly be easier?

You may, if you wish also download Youtube videos onto your PSP for viewing, however this requires a special application to be placed on the PSP which is moderately complex. If you're not an expert in it, I suggest you find someone who is or else stick to those which are formatted for your PSP.

There are also many providers of Videos where, if you pay a one time fee you can download PSP videos in the format that you need. They cost a one time fee, and provide many other services, such as games, wallpapers, applications and of course, videos.

Downloading Videos to your PSP from these sites is most likely your best option in that the videos are actively produced and offered for just that.. Your PSP, so there is no messing around, you just download and go.

The cost of these sites is usually nominal. In most cases, less than the cost of one game, or a couple of videos and I think they are well worth the price.
Download PSP videos from a site like this one, because in the end run, you know they are safe, your credit card numbers are secure and you are getting exactly what you want.

You can download PSP videos the easy way, not only vidoes, but games, music, emulators, software and more. If you do not want to risk your PSP with unsafe download or waste your time searching and waiting for the download, be prepared! check out Download PSP videos - The Easy and Safe Way.

Bumpy Trot was originally an RPG with action-packed fighting sequences but the PSP is mainly an action game. Players take on a Bumpy Troy mech which may be customized and upgraded with parts to make it a unique vehicle with the ability to punch, pick up objects, and thrust forward like a Votoms mech.

The action takes place in Orion City where Bumpy Trot drivers from around the world have gathered together for a battle royale. Since the PSP version of Bumpy Trot will basically be an action game, Irem has tweaked the game engine so that it's more conducive to fast-paced gameplay where Bumpy Trots are more mobile and easier to handle. Up to four players may participate in the ad hoc mode. Preorders ship on July 10.

We all know about the Play Station Portable, from the oldest to the youngest everybody either has one, or wants one. The games for the PSP can be an expensive proposition, and because of that, there are people who are out there trying to address the issue.

Did you know there are places out there to download free games for the PSP?

To save a few bucks the gamers who need PSP materials are moving to the internet to find them, searching for places to download free games for PSP and the site owners, in response to the huge popularity of both games and game system, are working overtime to fill the needs of the gaming group and find them those free PSP games to download.

There are literally hundreds of web sites out there now that give you a place to download free games for PSP, and add other merchandise into the mixture, including movies, themes, wallpaper for your desktop and music as well. Some of them are better than others, and if you pay attention to what you're doing and find the right site on which to download your free PSP games, you're going to save a lot in the long run.

There are several varieties of the "free" websites out there and a couple of them may not seem so free once you've tried them so pay attention to what you actually get when you search for sites that will let you download free games for PSP.

The first type is the free, really free site that will let you download free games for PSP with no fees of any kind.

This type site is always going to sound good to you but there are a few hitches that make it less than desirable. They will provide you only a limited amount of games to download, the speeds are very often excruciatingly slow and you might get hit with some kind of ad-ware as you download your games and that's not much fun to deal with down the road.

The second type of "free" site you're going to come across is the type that will let you sign up for their site, and that part really is free. But later, just try to download a game though. That part isn't free. They will at that point ask you for the per game download fee, that we all should have been expecting all along. It doesn't end up being free does it?

The third variety is going to be your best option really.

It isn't entirely free, as there is a one time membership fee that you need to pay, but once that is paid, the downloads of music, games and many other things really are free.

You can download unlimited free downloads for your PSP with no fees for any of them. This is certainly going to be a great proposition.

Once you pay the one time fee of $40, then having the capacity to download unlimited free games for your PSP, means saving a lot of money for long term.

What can i get beside game downloads? there are still a lot to get with the membership package, visit Download Free Games for PSP - three Easy Ways to read more information about the offers and be amazed.

EA Announces DeSean Jackson And Owen Schmitt As Cover Athletes For NCAA Football 09

Jackson Featured on PlayStation 2 Cover and Schmitt Graces PlayStation Portable Pack Front

May 6, 2008 – EA has announced the final two cover athletes for NCAA Football 09, scheduled to hit stores across North America on July 15 from EA SPORTS. Former Cal wide receiver, DeSean Jackson, will be the cover athlete on PlayStation 2 while former West Virginia Mountaineer Owen Schmitt can be found on the cover of the PlayStation Portable version of the game.

In three seasons at Cal, Jackson ranks third all time in receiving yards (2,423) and third in receiving touchdowns (22). He was rated as the #1 receiver in the nation by The Sporting News and Rivals.com going into his junior campaign. Jackson was a first team All-Pac-10 selection and led the nation in average punt return yards (18.2) in his sophomore season. In the recently held NFL Draft, Jackson was selected in the second round (49th overall pick) by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Schmitt, a tough-minded fullback, finished his West Virginia Mountaineer career as one of the greatest players in school lore. In his career, Schmitt earned 21 career starts and carried the ball for 1,003 yards, a 6.3-yard average, during his Mountaineer career.

Both the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable versions of NCAA Football 09 will feature EA SPORTS Family Play, a fun and accessible game mode that has simplified game controls, playcalling system and playbooks.

Former Arkansas All-American Darren McFadden is the cover athlete for NCAA Football 09 on the Xbox 360 while Matt Ryan from Boston College is featured on the PLAYSTATION®3 pack front. Also, Sparty the Spartan from Michigan State University will grace the cover on the Nintendo Wii. For each of the platforms, NCAA Football 09 brings to life the fun and excitement of gameday Saturdays and captures the true emotion of the college football experience.

The Game Development programme at Auckland’s Media Design School (MDS) has secured top deals with

The Game Development programme at Auckland’s Media Design School (MDS) has secured top deals with both Sony and Nintendo, and for the first time Kiwi students will be given access to cutting-edge, industry-standard game development kits for both Sony PSP and Nintendo GameCube consoles.

Having access to these kits will allow Media Design School students’ games to be developed for and played on both consoles, increasing chances for development deals after they graduate.

Media Design School’s Game Development Course Leader, Mr Brendan Burns is thrilled with the secured deal and says, “Game studios need developers who can write code or prepare art assets not just for the PC, but for fixed hardware consoles like Nintendo’s GameCube and Sony’s PSP. As such we are further enhancing our console development modules to provide our students with the skills they need to get into the top studios.”

“Our industry partners - Game Studios Metia Interactive, Sidhe Interactive, and Straylight Studios - all stated their emphatic support for graduates with development kits experience,” says Burns.

“Furthermore, the majority of MDS Game Development graduates all ranked the inclusion of the now-defunct Criterion’s RenderWare as a deciding factor in their reasoning for studying at MDS. When RenderWare was bought by Electronic Arts, the support forum was pulled worldwide, and now we are delighted to have not one, but two industry heavyweights supporting the school again.” says Burns.

Media Design School will be the first educational body in New Zealand not to mention Australasia to have access to both Sony and Nintendo development kits.

The Sony PSP Academic Development Program, courtesy of the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), includes physical hardware development kits, SN Systems ProDG compilers, and access to Sony developer forums, as well as feedback from top Sony developers.

The Nintendo GameCube Academic Development Program, courtesy of Nintendo of America, will provide the school with physical hardware GameCube T-Dev kits, Freescale CodeWarrior Development Tools, and the Nintendo GameCube SDK.

Both of these kits will allow Media Design School students to write games using the exact tools used by the games industry to make Nintendo GameCube and Sony PSP games.

“We greatly thank Sony and Nintendo for making their technology available to Media Design School students. It will no doubt help to further develop New Zealand’s reputation as an emerging hub for game developers,” says Burns.

The students have also been given access to Industry-Standard Gamebryo Middleware from US cross-platform provider Emergent. Gamebyro is used by AAA studios around the world and is the game runtime engine of choice for hundreds of games in multiple genres.

Media Design School’s latest Student Game Oddballs was showcased the the Armageddon Expo in Wellington to rave reviews. The team of 9 in the 2007 Interactive Gaming class developed the multi-player racing game in just 6 weeks. The game is currently ranked 4th on gamecareerguide.com. To download Oddballs visit http://www.gamecareerguide.com/downloads/

For information on all Media Design School courses, visit www.mediadesign.school.nz or phone 09 303-0402. An Open Day will be held on May 29th from 12pm till 7pm at Level 12, 242 Queen Street, Auckland. Come along to meet students, tutors, win some prizes and check out student work and games first hand!

The PSP is a sought after portable entertainment device. It can play games, music, and videos - among other things. So if you are in the market for PSP downloads, you'll want to read on...Purchasing music, games and other material (one file at a time) for your PSP can get really expensive, but there are ways to get around this.

The best way to find PSP downloads is via the Internet. Using the Internet, a large selection of PSP downloads are available. Imagine raiding a game store and getting the best games free! You only really have 2 options when using the Internet to get PSP downloads. I want to share them with you:

1. Free download sites - Some sites on the Internet offer free PSP downloads.

Advantages

* Free

Disadvantages

*Availability of games is limited

*Slow Downloads

*Games are older versions and not compatible with newer systems.

*Some of these sites will often try to install unwanted software, virus, keystroke logger, trojans, worms etc...

If you are only a casual PSP user, this might be OK for you. On the other hand, serious PSP gamers would have little to gain from this type of site. Basically - anything that is free usually has an motive behind it.

2. Pay-Per-Download Sites - Then there are sites that offer PSP downloads on a pay-per-download basis.

Advantages

* These sites have newer games

* Larger selection of downloadable files

* Virus, Adware, Trojan & Spyware free

Disadvantages

* Not free - usually about $40 for lifetime unlimited access.

A good rule of thumb is that paying per download is OK if you are after only one or two games. Any more than that and you will save money by paying a one off charge and getting unlimited access to a pay-site.

First, download and install these two:

PSX2PSP v.1.2 - PopStation GUI
To begin converting

First, download and install these two:

ISOBuster

PSX2PSP v.1.2 - PopStation GUI

To begin converting PSone games to PSP you must first extract the ISO to your PC.
Insert the CD of your PSX game into your PC. In IsoBuster you will see the the session(s), track(s) and file-systems of your disc.

Right-click the CD listing at the top of the tree on the left and choose Extract CD RAW (*.bin, *.iso). It will ask where to save the BIN and after the extraction where to save the CUE.
For the BIN file to work with PSX2PSP you must add .iso to the end of the generic BIN file that IsoBuster created.

In Theme Mode of PSX2PSP open the Convert Menu. Under ISO/PBP File navigate to where you saved your ISO. PSX2PSP should automatically fill in the Game and Save titles and IDs.
(NOTE: If you are converting a multi-disc game make sure you use the same Save ID on each discs EBOOT.)

Under Output PBP folder navigate to where you want your EBOOT.PBP to be saved after conversion.
From here if you do not wish to customize the EBOOT.PBP menu you can click the Convert button and your playable EBOOT will be created.

If you do wish to customize your menu open the Customize PBP Menu.
Here you can choose which graphics are used for the icon and menu, more specific information will be added for this later.

After you have chosen the graphics you wish to use for your converted PSone game close the Customize PBP Menu and hit the Convert button on the Convert Menu.
Now copy your completed game folder to your PSP memory stick under X:\PSP\Game\
You are now able to play your favorite PSone game on your PSP!

NOTES:
Not every game plays with 100% accuracy, tweaks and PopStation improvements come as sony introduces firmware updates for POPS. But how ever you can always use DAX, POPSloader to emulate which games run better on which firmware.

Depending on your budget PSP games can be quite expensive. You won't see much change out of $50. For some people, this is okay and that's fine but for others the cost is a bit inhibiting.

This inevitably leads to the question that is very frequently asked - where can I buy cheap PSP games?

I will outline three options that should make your life easier, these include buying from a retail store, buying them second-hand, or downloading them online.

Option 1

You could go to your local retail store and pay the price ($45 plus). Most consumers, in this case PSP games players, like to shop around, even play a few games and try out some of these games in the retail stores. This is one of the benefits of actually going into a "bricks and mortar" store. Sometimes the most annoying thing is the sales assistants, however most good games sell themselves. If you prefer buying from a local retail outlet there is often an advantage in this as many games shops are more expensive than your large retail store simply because their overheads are higher. The price differential can be as much as $10 so it's worth checking out.

There is also a combination of paying a significantly reduced price from one of the major online outlets such as Amazon. In fact, there are many second hand games that are available on these sites. However, there is a reasonable chance that a second-hand game disc may be damaged and need to be returned, which is a bit of a hassle. Luckily, most games are in fairly good condition.

Option 2

Buying the game second-hand is the preferred route of many PSP gamers. The problem is, not many people actually drop off games at second-hand shops and if they do, more often than not, these are pretty old versions and the graphics on these older versions are way below current expectations of players. In fact, as suggested in option 1, you're probably better off going to eBay or Amazon. Also remember if you do buy new or second-hand you should factor in the cost of postage!

Option 3

The last option that I think you should consider is a fairly new phenomenon known as unlimited download sites. These sites specifically cater for supplying PSP gamers the opportunity to download an unlimited array of current and old games, game cheats, wallpapers and even music. These are incredibly versatile sites which offer a lot of choice.

The sites are not free, usually for no more than $40 for a lifetime membership. After this initial cost, every download is free. You may also be thinking that there are other sites on the web that offer completely "free" downloads - yes that's true but many of these sites have hidden dangers and I will briefly outline some of these:

A word of caution

The free sites are known as P2P, torrent sites. There are some good ones out there but they are rare. So it's a question of how much time you have and how much risk you want to take in downloading potentially harmful files to your PC and then your PSP.

You must also make sure before using any free downloading service that what you are downloading is legal and not infringing copyrights. In addition you need to make sure that your PC is well protected against viruses and spyware. It's amazing how many PCs become badly infected very quickly from the sites without the user even knowing.

Most unlimited download sites where you have to pay a membership fee will have no legal issues, will have no viruses and the material downloaded will be downloaded fast and of good quality.

So remember, if you're asking the question where can I buy cheap PSP games from? Consider your options carefully.

The PSP scene is kinda slow these days, sony releasing minor updates, DAX not making any m33 for 3.93 and the 3.95, etc.. maybe DAX's just waiting for 4.00 to release an m33 update. =)

Anyways, PSP-Maps is a tool that allows you to browse Google Maps, Virtual Earth and Yahoo Maps with your PSP and its WiFi connection. You can move around the map, zoom in and out, cycle through the different available views, search for an address, load/save favorites, etc…

It includes a cache system so you can browse later the maps you have previously seen, even if you don’t have WiFi available. There is also a PC version if you don’t have WiFi at all, so you can build a cache on your computer and copy it to your PSP.

Technically, PSP-Maps connects directly to the servers to fetch the images, it does not use the provided APIs since there are usually in JavaScript and not convenient for a homebrew.

PSP-Maps v1.0 changes:

added GP2X version;
added Google Moon, Google Mars and Google Sky support; if you find the “cheat” code, you can enable these;
fixed Google Terrain view;
