Everyone have a fun & safe weekend! I'll be running around in the mountains with my family but I'll be back to the 'Boro on Sunday.

The 2008 "Return of the Nine-Tailed Fox" is based on the story of the Nine-Tailed Fox-bloodline which has lived through the generations and talks about the demise of a family through greed and desires. Park Min Young will ditch her old bubbly image seen in "Unstoppable High Kick", playing Lee Myung Ok, the youngest daughter at the Lee household. She’s a bright character who brings a light to the otherwise dark atmosphere of the family.

This act will be directed by Kwak Jung Hwan whose previous work was "Seoul's Sad Song". The first act of the 8 one-act drama starts 6th August.

As God continued creation on the fourth day,

He put figures in the sky to guide our way.

During the day the sun gives us light,

while the moon and stars keep us company at night.

If He doesn't command, then the sun will not rise,

the moon would never show up, and the stars wouldn’t shine.

He put thought and effort on earth to make it so pretty,

but theres no need for a sun, moon or stars in heaven,

because GOD illuminates his City.

The cards are: Fox, Clover, Mice.

I'm seeing this as something that looks good, but isn't; something or someone that seems to give you something but in reality only takes from you.

The Fox + Clover is traditionally indicative of bad luck. The Mice after the Clover come along and steal any luck you might have going. But put the three together, and I see something that looks too good to be true - and indeed is not true.

Still in the traditional meaning camp - and this is an odd one - the Fox + Mice without a card between them is often a warning to take precautions against theft or loss, or at the very least, finding out whodunit if you've already been victimised. The Mice can't eat away every bad card in the deck, but they do weaken the Fox. I'm not sure quite why that is but I have seen it happen. So those two together can be a sign that the bad person or the bad circumstances are going to be revealed for what they are.

One of the few times the Clover is nasty to see is in a combination like this. It's the day after the infamous Welfare Wednesday, and around here that means whatever pittance most people got for the month has gone to drugs already, and things are going to get uglier than they usually are.

On the upside, at least it's only a daily draw, so the loss could be of a fairly minor nature, like a package going missing in the post. I'll toss out another meaning here - do you suppose that the Fox + Clover + Mice could represent addicts or addiction? I see a whole lot of that where I live, and somehow this trio nails it better than the more traditional combinations involving the Stars or Moon or Fish. This combination shows the really ugly side of the addiction. I think if it was a dealer it was pointing to, I'd want to see the Moon or the Clouds in there, somebody who's selling the dream.

It's not that hard to figure. The Fox indicates the falsity of any joy (Clover) you may temporarily be feeling. And it will be temporary, because those Mice are there, eating you alive - and sometimes you don't even realise it. It could indicate an overdose, and that makes me feel kind of ill - I'm sure there were more than a few here yesterday. It could even be something as mundane - but important - as food poisoning. Think about it.

Not always an addiction, not always an OD, I grant, there are other situations where this vibe happens. Just how I'm calling it for today.

Let's hope tomorrow is a little more cheery. To keep you updated, I'm getting a start on the house cleaning on Saturday, which will help a lot around here, and with any luck the blog will be living at its new domain sometime next week.
