It is almost certain that she is nursing. She knew the meaning of the paper "plate", and was savvy about the can, expecting to find water filling it. She is certainly scaredy but btmao managed to touch her for a split-second. It will take some work to earn her trust, we only hope we can manage it before she get s pregnant again. While she ate, we caught sight of a ginger in the distance. Juding by the tail, it was not the mysterious ginger mentioned but Sunny. He was loitering around the neighbourhood eatery. I cannot understand how anybody who profess to love their cats can stomach the notion of allowing their precious pet to wander about and beg for food. But then, their logic doesn't compute for me anyway.

In any case, Bambi was not the first cat we saw tonight. Before we found her, we came across a dilute calico with a long tail, as scrawny and saggy-bellied as her for the first time. This new one was almost as scaredy as Bambi had been at first.  She ran away from us of course. But hopefully we can "get" her too. Stanley's still schwinging.

Betsy, as she is so friendly, will be prepped for adoption.

As has been mentioned, she was an Area2 kitty.

We had mentioned the frustrating situation with the kitties in Area2. Of the kitties mentioned, we have been sighting Bambi randomly ever since. mostly around the area's eatery. But we've not managed to establish her schedule and have not managed to "get" her. She is now nursing a litter of kittens, as elusive and skittish as ever. In fact, the night we got Betsy, we were trying to find her, as she is super emaciated, probably due to the strain of nursing her babies. The good news is we think we may be getting nearer to a Bambi schedule - for the past week, btmao has managed to find and feed her 3 out of 7 times. The headache though is that we need to wait for her babies to be weaned, and we're nervous as btmao found Stanley on the night we catnapped Betsy. Also, Bambi needs fattening up before de-mojoing. With an irregular schedule, that's going to be a challenge.

The shy little white kitten with tabby patches has been sighted only once since, early this month. Also as skittish as ever. However, it seemed to be healthy, and is now a bigger kitten.

Sarsi, the last cat we saw has never been sighted since.

That doesn't mean things are quiet in Area2. Even before Freda's discovery in February, we know there are many elusive new kitties around there, due to irresponsible pet owners. We've had random distant sightings of a ginger cat, alone and chasing after another one whom we only heard. Between then and now, we've had one-off sightings of different cats. The most recent one is a 3-5 mth scaredy, mostly white calico kitten first sighted on 26 Sep 2008 sitting in the drains. It is likely a girl. btmaa sighted her a week later, hanging  out near Bambi's eatery territory.

Saba, as far as we can see is still intact, with the very virile and wanderful Stanley paying court to free-ranging pet cat just yesterday. We have decided to not offer any more help to the family due to 2 reasons: 1) the family shows no concern about the issue nor have them attempted to contact us about arrangements for Saba even though we see Sue, the woman of the house often enough on the way home from work; 2) since our last update on Saba, Sue had only called me once, but was more interested in trying to get the same "deal" for her friends than to make arrangements for Saba even though I had already told her sterilising Scottie, Sunny and Sumie was a one-off deal that we were paying out of our own pocket due to the circumstances.

Scottie was out and about, and as friendly as ever. We also caught a glimpse of Sunny. Though Sumie was not sighted, we believe she is well and about, as we've sighted her previously. All three look fantastic, and of course it is being mojo-less that gives them their sleekness.

Benji is still around, and seems to have moved back to his original territory, rather than stay around Saba's area. But even he seems to have gotten in on the act, and is only randomly sighted. He was most recently sighted and fed on Thursday evening.

All in all, our report card on Area 2 this year has been quite dismal. Things have just not been going well in TNRM terms. But with Betsy catnapped, and Bambi finally letting us get a clue about her schedule, maybe the situation can be remedied soon. Hopefuly, we will not have to make difficult decisions as we did on Betsy's behalf.

Zoals gisteren van Sunny:

Als je zijn hele leven bekijkt, heeft hij eigenlijk best wel een rustig bestaan gekend. De eerste negen jaar toch. Dan begon voor hem de pure hel. Want de duivel himself was opgestaan en ging voor zijn aardse rijbewijs. Ik palmde de wagen eerst heel subtiel in. Voorzichtig leren kennen en het vertrouwen winnen van de bolide en zijn eigenares.

Maar geleidelijk aan werd het steeds onmogelijker om te ontsnappen aan de klauwen van de duivelse chauffeur. Eigenares moest lijdzaam toezien hoe haar wagen keer op keer gemutileerd en gepijnigd werd. Bijstaanders hielden hun handjes voor hun ogen uit pure schrik. Zij die het waagden om mee te genieten van waanzinnig dolle ritjes in de Sunny-car, zijn maar al te blij dat ze het kunnen navertellen. Nu jaren later krijg ik nog steeds verhalen te horen over duivelse cruises in de afgeleefde Sunny.

Vorig jaar besloot ik hem dan uiteindelijk een rustig einde te gunnen. Een nieuw slachtoffer werd gezocht en gevonden. De rust in de Sunny-stal was weergekeerd. Maar al die jaren hebben toch hun sporen nagelaten. Hij puft en zucht en snakt naar zijn einde. De arme stakker zal het waarschijnlijk nog wel even uithouden, maar we zijn geen beesten zonder gevoel. We laten hem inslapen om naar de eeuwige racevelden te kunnen gaan.

Maar panikeer niet. De verhalen zijn nog niet helemaal ten einde. De komende maanden zal hij mee op zoek gaan naar een waardige opvolger en zal hij hem nog een korte opleiding geven. Een einde als mentor is zowat het mooiste einde voor een oude ervaren bolide. Dit weekend begint zijn laatste hoofdstuk. Wie zal de leemte kunnen invullen? Wie zal bestand zijn tegen de tirannie? Wie, o wie krijgt de eer de plaats in te nemen van onze ouwegetrouwe Nissan Sunny?

Iedereen die een laatste groet wil brengen (en dan richt ik me vooral naar de overlevenden van de helse cruises), wees er snel bij!

Osasuna ha perdido una buena oportunidad esta tarde ante el Toulouse de elevar la moral de todo el entorno rojillo. El conjunto navarro ha tenido otros 90 minutos para demostrar que la sequía goleadora que arrastra desde el inicio de temporada es algo pasajero, pero al final todo ha acabado como viene siendo habitual: sin mojar.

El Toulouse es uno de los equipos más en forma de la Ligue 1, y el amistoso ha sido una buena piedra de toque para algunos de los no habituales.

Conforme pasaban los minutos el ritmo de partido disminuyó, hecho que aprovechó el Toulouse para llevarse la victoria tras recoger Bonnet un rechace de Roberto.

On another note, Jill Clarke and I shared a scare and a nervous laugh this morning.  I received an email from our rental company that they were good to go and we were their first delivery today!  Uh...

I immediately called the rental company, and Jennifer assured me that everything was fine, she just made a mistake in the email.

It was right about that time that I received a call from Jill, on my work phone...because she called my cell 3 times and texted me but it was on vibrate, so she called a church friend that would have my work number...and informed me that the delivery boys had called her to let her know that they would be delivering all of our items within the next hour!

Everything is all straightened out now.  I called Jennifer at the rental company and apparently there is a wedding in Murfreesboro tomorrow in which a different Matt & Lisa are getting married.  Oh the odds :o)

Hace unos días, tras la derrota ante el Racing de Santander, hablabamos del 'Factor X' de Osasuna. Un ente que había derrumbado todos los méritos logrados por el equipo hasta ahora, disfrazándose de falta de puntería, de expulsiones a la ligera y de travesaños.

Ahora bien, pocos conocen que el conjunto navarro dispone de la mejor fórmula para contrarrestar ese 'Factor X': el 'Factor Piña'. 

No, no es ningún nuevo cóctel caribeño. Es mucho más sencillo: se trata de la tradicional receta del 'football con aroma a patxarán'. Coges un vestuario más o menos unido, añades unos capitanes de la casa y comprometidos con el club, una directiva contraria al cortoplacismo y una afición de 10. Lo pones a remojo, y ya tienes el 'Factor Piña' listo para adentrarse en tu garganta.

Es innegable que Osasuna atraviesa una situación complicada, pero cuando cuando vienen mal dadas, ahí estan los capitanes para trasladar un mensaje de ánimo y templanza a la hinchada osasunista.

"Entiendo el desencanto de la gente porque llevamos seis jornadas sin ganar, pero las prisas no son buenas consejeras, porque ya hemos demostrado otros años que hemos sacado el trabajo adelante", ha declarado esta mañana el capitán de Osasuna, César Cruchaga.

"No es cuestión de ponerse plazos. Hemos tenido partidos para ganar, pero no ha querido entrar. El encanto de hace 15 días se ha vuelto desencanto, pero no se puede hablar tan pronto de crisis", ha manifestado".

Del mismo modo, Cruchaga, que se encuentra recuperándose de una lesión, ha quitado hierro a su ausencia de las convocatorias en este inicio de temporada: "Defensivamente estamos muy bien, y cuando las cosas van bien no hay que cambiar -ha señalado-. Hay que ser honrado y estar preparado para jugar. Me gustaría jugar todos los días, pero los jóvenes están muy bien".

"No se puede aportar el granito de arena en el campo, pero sí en el vestuario, ayudando a los chavales a seguir evolucionando, seguir motivando a los que juegan o estar a buen nivel para que el que juega vea que el puesto está caro", ha explicado.

Con la comparecencia esta mañana en la sala de prensa de Tajonar, el de Ezkarotz ha mandado un mensaje de tranquilidad y confianza a la afición. Conforme se suceden las jornadas, Cruchaga tiene más complicada su entrada en el once titular debido al inexorable paso del tiempo, pero su labor en el interior del vestuario sigue siendo igual de valiosa.

LA ESTABILIDAD DE LOS INESTABLES

Los que no juegan tienen menos trascendencia de cara al gran público, pero de ellos depende en gran parte la estabilidad del grupo. 

Precisamente, esta semana Roberto y Sunny, que apenas han contado para Ziganda por el momento, se han mostrado comprensivos con su condición de 'no habituales'.

"Entiendo que en el fútbol hay que seguir trabajando para cuando llegue la oportunidad. Yo estoy aquí para ayudar al equipo; en mi puesto hay jugadores importantes y buenos y al final es una decisión del mister", afirmó Sunny, quien alabó el papel que juega la afición en el club navarro. "Es una pasada jugar delante de esta afición", recalcó el mediocentro hispano-nigeriano, quien jugó sus primeros minutos de la temporada ante el Racing.

Mientras, Roberto se mostró tranquilo en una entrevista concedida al diario asturiano El Comercio Digital: "Estamos esperando una oportunidad para poder agradecerle a Osasuna la confianza que ha depositado en mí".

It turns out it'd had actually been a pretty good day, on shore but fun. Pretty much everyone had entered a surf comp and had a pretty fun day, final came down to Fergal, Ollie, Damo and Kiwi transplant Liam Joyce. They only announced the results in the pub that night so everybody was out and in pretty good form, possibly because of the cheap (i.e. free) drinks promotion that bar was running. Ferg took the win in the end, the band started playing an fun was had, until the next morning.

I picked up a crazy hungover Damo at 7am. Turns out there was a price for all those free beers :P

We headed down the coast to the one high tide spot we were banking on, but the wind had gone just the wrong direction during the night and the spot looked awful, good old reliable Ireland eh? Turns out the swell was way smaller than expected as well.

We headed back to Lahinch to have some brekkie. Danny macs does a pretty sweet Surfers Breakfast (good old chips for breakfast, can't beat it) if anyone's ever looking for something in Lahinch I'd recommend this place. We headed up to Damo's then to check out the new Relentless DVD . It's fricken awesome by the way, really makes me want to give up everything here and just go travelling. We actually bumped into Fergal and Lowey later on in the day. It's pretty weird to watch a surf vid and discuss the waves and the guys style and then meet them later.

Pumped the video we decided to go looking again and headed off to reliable Dougie. By this time Ollie had joined the us and was pretty keen to get wet as well. It was small but the boys suited up anyway, Joycey was there already punting over the heads of the unsuspecting beginners in the lineup.

Damo and Ollie followed him out and proceeded to tear the crap out of the knee high dribblers.

Eventually the boys got tired of doing the same turn 7,458 times the came back in and we decided to call it a day.

We started heading back up the coast to Lahinch but along the way saw some white water off one the points and went to investigate, the tide was still a little low but there were a few slabby barrels coming through. I really wanted to make the most of the sun so I got the boys back into their suits and started racing down across the reef.

The first wave we headed out to was a left but by the time we got into the lineup the tide had pushed over the shelf and it wasn't really doing it anymore. There was a right just around the corner that was starting to work so myself and Ollie paddled over to check it out.

The bad thing about this was that we came in at the wave from the back. If you paddle out to a wave you usually get to watch a set or two break so you can see where the impact zone is. We just randomly paddle into a spot where we though the take off was, Ollie caught a small one and was paddling back out when a proper set came through and unloaded right in front of me. I tried to go under but the water was only about two foot deep so I got a ridiculous beating in which both fins got ripped off and I ended up sitting on some dry reef 100m down the line, not nice.

Damo had paddled over by now and managed to scrape into a few little barrels himself. Ollie was perfecting his late drop technique but always seemed to be hitting the lip just past me. But these things happen, I was just happy to be out there on a sunny glassy afternoon with two mates.

Not a bad end to the day.

Anyway, there's lot of food there. And it's so oily!!! I bet I gained 1 kg there!!! My favourite was the Taiwanese Sausage!!!! So nice!!!!

Well, they also sell pirated DVDs there. =.=lll So random right?! In Malaysia those people carry them in a red, blue and white striped big bag and try to sell to us when we eat at hawker stalls right? But here they set up a stall with proper tables and sell it just like that!! Damn high class okay?!

I'm currently a very hardworking student. Because got BIOSCI 353 test on Friday. I'm a geek now. And I study study and study!! Even though I still play dota but that doesn't count because of course I need breaks!! Haih... I hate neuronal stuff!!! Can I skip David Christie's Neurotransmitter Transporters part? So complicated lar...

Oh, by the way, I'm sick again!!! Sorethroat and coughing like hell especially when I'm sleeping!! Haiyah!! And I sacrificed myself to be someone's slave for 1 month so that I can have Pee Pa Gao (some chinese herbal thing that eases sorethroat). But the thing is, that Pee Pa Gao didn't help in any way!! That means I sacrificed myself for nothing!!!!!! SO SAD!!!

Please let me recover by tomorrow!!!! Because I'm going to sing k on Friday!!!! Can't wait can't wait!!!!

First off, I'd like to start by addressing the anti-fans and especially that forum called STAND. I am thankful that they are taking a non-violent action in expressing their opinions. HOWEVER, words still hurt and to SNSD members are human beings with feelings and families that care about them. All of these people are hurt when you guys express your hatred. I mean if you look at the media these days, you here about a ton of suicides in the Korean entertainment industry because of hate comments spread by anti-fans and netizens! you guys never learn! and this also goes for those Sones out there that are violent and outrageously misguided in their sayings and beliefs. However, back to topic...

referring to some stuff that anti-fans point out to citing why they hate the girls ://

• the most obvious one would be the plastic surgery issue. and it's obvious that some of the girls did get plastic surgery... no doubt about it. If you compare present and past pictures you can immediately see work done on Hyoyeon and Tiffany. GET OVER IT! a TON of people in both Korea and America have had plastic surgery, including the all-lovable Hyori, SuJu's own pretty boy, Kim Hee Chul, Fly to the Sky's Hwanhee, Seo In Young, and a crap load of others.

Now, about the SMTown Concert in Korea. People said that fans didn't show up to support their artists cause of SNSD. They said that the stadiums were empty... there were a reported 45,000 people there. Okay, yes there are photos floating around showing that the stadium was empty. In the said photos, there are "evidence" that it was empty including this one:

BUT, if you look at the circled scene, you'll see that that is most likely KyuHyun. And you deff don't see the other Super Junior members. That mean that he is singing his solo song which means it's the "Just For One Day" song that he sang with CSJH The Grace. This was one of the first performances of the concert. Also, the angles of these pictures are horrible since they aim at the stage and show how the seats BACK of the stage are empty. Now.. why would anyone be sitting BEHIND the stage?!
