I was never a fan of Maria Carey before for several reasons mainly because of the social practicalities involved. Firstly, I’m a guy and her tubes are ultrasonic, nothing is discrete about it. I listen to my music on the bus and I don’t want the fellas knowing about my questionable musical preferences. After all I am in the Caribbean. Secondly, Mariah does some strange questionable things, latest being her nuptials to that guy (Nick Cannon). Lastly, it is only a matter of time her tubes give out on her and I’m left mourning; all that screaming can’t be good (anyone saw her performance on GMA?).

However, her last album was so good (7/14 J) that I don’t really care; I’ve got over my qualms. I like Cruise Control, Thanx 4 Nothing, I Stay in Love, For the Record, Side Effects, the hilarious Touch my Body and of course the sappy Bye Bye. There, I said it.
